Yes, agreed Alaap was never my favorite... but seeing Alaap feeling worried for Prachi and crying for her, regretting all his bad actions in the last few episodes before the leap, my opinion has changed considerably. Given a chance, Alaap is a very complex character, but Bharat has never gotten a chance to portray this as the creatives put Alaap in the background and hardly used him... but when Bharat did get that chance, he was brilliant, very understated, nothing over-the top... He really brought out that maturity as a performer... like in the scene where he mourns over the fake death of Ritwik, or when he mourns over the death of Prachi...

Now am feeling sad again!!! 😭😭😭
