Jokes apart I Seriously want to see the story move a bit and have resolved not to watch the serial until Aarav reveal track happens.

Regarding humsafar I never liked it post their first separation, it was too dark for me to see them go separate ways.

I am at the stage where I will take trip fall catch scenes over this baby business

Yes it is true that IPL esp in the later stsges affects tv viewership hence shows dont show plot happenings during this time, they sort of drag on till ipl finishes.

In bold my complaint about serials, TRP is a very ajeeb process otherwise how can a serial which is highly toxic can run for more than 14 years, kaun hai ye log kaha se aathe hai, what's with these atrangi concepts shown in sitara+. Mera bas chale tho I'll shut them down kuch bhi in the name of serials 🤬

If IPL is causing for plot to not move then final is very soon hopefully we can see movement after that.

Through PTV I felt they are quite good at stretching a plot in few episodes as well.

Mili, I am still far away from watching this ep but from personal experience, it's very triggering when people act as if they know better than you and lecture you, and/or even take the side of the other party without knowing all the facts.

I agree that the makers have gone over the top with this baby track. I found it weird when Viaan started googling about it. I love Google but it cannot tell you about ehsaas. Aarav is 8 years old. How will Viaan relate the experience of looking after Keith's baby on dealing with Aarav?

The show has lost a core essence by neglecting the relationship between Katha and Aarav. We loved this show because of the bond between Katha and Aarav, and for Viaan's intensity. None can be seen nowadays. In fact, it feels like Katha is more interested in mothering Viaan. I do not like such unbalanced relationships. They should be equals and compensate for each other's shortcomings.

I read somewhere that cricket season affects ITV. Is the cricket still on? Is this the reason for stretching the baby angle?

As for Humsafar, I have pressed pause in watching PTV shows. After our previous show, I did not want to go through another experience where characters deviate from their natural progression and suddenly adopt a persona which doesn't click or even make sense but this happened again. I have lost faith in ITV and PTV shows. How will society get better when they are constantly subjected to moral decadence? Marriage is sacred to me. It has become a joke on TV. Neither makers nor audience seem to care. PHs churn out crap shows and TRP aunties tune in to watch. I also do not understand why men are shown in such negative light in shows. Not all men are bad. Not all men let themselves be ruled by their ego. Not all men are cheaters. Sorry I deviated from the main topic.

it is because the audience are TRP aunties. 🤣

how many aunties will say the uncle is nice and treated them well? instead, listen and you will hear a list of terrible events and how hard it was. some will point blank say that getting married was the worst event of their life. the happy aunties are not necessarily glued to the TV.

so the sad aunties live vicariously through the hardships of the FL and how she soldiers on and even though people treat her like crap, she still is nice and somehow the guy ends up falling for even if he hates her in the beginning. it is all about selling a fantasy, a fairy tale -- that somehow things will turn out alright in the end. thats why I think dramas are so female centric and tend to show the worst of men. 😂 thats my theory.

Feel its inappropriate to term most fiction TV audience as TRP aunties.😒 Current BARC TRP process is a vast & debatable subject where data is collected from <60k sample households across India with barometer connected TV sets to measure and arrive at weekly ratings of TV shows, that too across all languages & genres with focus on for prime time slots starting 6.30pm till 11pm. As we know in reality there are crores of paid & free subscribers for TV channels in India be it using dd, cable, dish or dth.

Mind you its same sample households that give TRP data for KBC or KKK or IPL or T20 world cups or blockbuster premiers of latest movies along with habituated families who watch fiction.

Pre-covid times if we look at BARC urban charts for Hindi GECs there aren't many saas bahu or ott dramas in top 20 list. Varied shows like Ishq Subanallah, Rising Star, Shakti, Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Ishq mein Marjawan, Nimki Mukhiya, Bepannaah etc. wouldn't even get an entry into this list, if some TRP aunties predominantly decided TV viewership ratings.😳

Anyhow we have separate thread on TRPs in same forum page. where this subject got widely discussed, can refer posts there.

Agree Mango ji, TRPs ke hunger mein aur due to lack of creativity serials trivialise men and their contributions. If we look at the sea of changes in the familial system from earlier days to now. Men of today are more pressurised to support the wife domestically in addition to the age old notion of financial responsibility of the family additionally career rat race and all. I have never seen a TV serial talking about these struggles whether the TRP aunties will like it or not atleast a genuine attempt hasn't been made.

Bichare men serials bhi nahi dekh sakte because this rona dhona doesn't make any sense🤣🤣🤣 to them.

Mera mann karta hai chillane ko "Men deserves BETTER" Stop stereotyping.

Let me know your opinions people.

Kushi ji atleast Aarav giving consent to katha is better than random strangers thoping their opinions on kathaa. Also I want to see the reaction of Viaan when he realises his batman is Aarav.

Honestly I want to see the struggle of Aarav to accept Robin as a potential man in his mother's life taking his Dad's place, will he readily give it or will there be a dilemma that's definitely worth watching IMO.

Why? 😳😳 Aarav too is a good boy. He will also ask his mom to marry Viaan. And then glorify Viaan’s goodness. No dhamaka here, same lines different faces.

If the writers or makers, think that a cooing baby and a cooing Viaan makes women watching this nonsense salivate, they got another thing coming😡 There is absolutely nothing cute about it. I want them to show Reet doing the same things Viaan is doing and tell us it is cute. Somehow, they feel that a guy doing all the parenting stuff is a novelty, he went above and beyond a guy should be doing for a baby and is therefore cute🤬 I may be reading too much into this, but why isn’t Dodo or Phalguni behen rearing a young boy who is in no way related to them, not put at the same level as Viaan cooing after the baby😡

it’s a man’s world all the way. And that is what is being highlighted. He wants he gets.

Yahaan toh, nothing touches your soul. Why the hell is he taking notes on the phone? Does he need to know the theory for an exam? If the writers think that this reflects his sincerity, then, they are nuts😡Too contrived for my liking. All the while, I am thinking, Katha don’t you have a young child at home who is alone?

Nothing touches the heart even! True, taking notes is not making him come across as eager or sincere. These are readily available on google if he ever is in need! Does he plan on being at Keith’s place for ever? This track makes no sense.

And then we see Katha bawling and saying all this is touching her heart and soul. 🙄 well good, how else could they have made the fl fall in love without sparks or anything in common? Or with all the stalking and obsession? Thank goodness it’s a story and not real life.

They are treating Katha’s rejection as a joke, as if she is a small child who doesn’t know what is good for her😡 Everybody seems to be patronizing her, to try out Viaan😡WTH🤢

yes, yes he is gift from the almighty you see. Katha is yet to realize that… but apparently she will next week. Only we won’t. I mean he is successful and well educated. Why should his state of mind matter? Plus he is suddenly helping everyone and being chatty and poetic. Why will anyone wonder why? No one seems to think in this story! Only Eshan did and he tried, but realized the power of “if you can’t beat them, join them”. For his sanity this works. Yes, talk to the woman instead and convince her of Viaan’s change and goodness and all of that.

If Viaan ko apne doston ke Saath filter nahin, toh, he should have told them his blackest deeds too, right? His proposal and execution of the ONS🤬 If he thinks that is personal, then how the hell doesn’t he think that Katha’s rejection and thoughts in his matter are as personal for her?

Yes, let’s show saint Viaan confessing. But before that let’s show him talking about it with Katha. Not being mental like in the few earlier episodes right after finding out about Aarav’s illness. But in a more mature way.
😡Not sure why they keep saying Viaan hated women. No, he picked on the vibes and judged “some” women prematurely. He didn’t hate Teji, Farah, Jenny, Nivedita and Jeetu bhai’s wife whoever she was and now they tell us he is jigar ka dost with Amrita. He hated both his dad and Seema Dutta, not just women😡

Isn’t it amazing he employed so many women and was not hateful towards them? They all vouched for it. If he really hated women, it would show up at sometime or the other? One of them at least would have picked up on it? So he had girls who were friends through college as well. Interesting. This man desperately needs help.

I just want to see all these faces ( Ehsan, Amrita, Dodo, Jeetu Bhai and co……) who vouched for Viaan when they reveal that he proposed and went along with the ONS. Because all these people keep singing praises from the rooftop

Would love to see it. Would actually like for Katha to walk away because of this in spite of being part of it. She needs time to analyze all that occurred. She also needs to know no one changes overnight. Besides this man is creepy with all his staring and stalking.

Aarav needs a dad figure for the cricket thing coming up. Viaan is available and willing. There will be no drama there. These people don’t know how to write drama. Ask mango, she will second it. She has been screaming for drama for a few months now!

ITV and marriage has a weird relationship. Whenever I see some clips of any show like Ghum/Anupama/YRKKH, I tell jokingly to my mother and husband that "thank god, I have not watched any ITV show before my marriage. Otherwise I would not have risked with a decision to get married" and my husband jokes back, " I am not that fortunate"🤣🤣

Jokes apart, all ITV marriages and relationships are scary
