You are a balanced person Mili. This is the main reason I love reading your posts. But not everyone is grounded in life. Some people get stuck in a darkness and need a lifeline to get out. Katha is Viaan's lifeline. I am someone who assesses a person's intention before I judge their actions. I am reading everyone's comments on this thread, and all of you make sense. But the problem is that life doesn't fit into what we think is right or appropriate. All of you are thinking of Katha and saying that Viaan should have considered the place and Katha's space. Maybe Katha needs the jolt? The woman is in denial of everything. It is time for her to face her inner demons.

As for what others are thinking about Katha, well it reflects on them. I haven't seen the eps yet but if Katha stood her ground, then good for her. She is an adult after all, and should know how to fight her battles.

Hey,

I read all your comments and liked your positivity for the show. Your POV was beautiful to read but I guess we all know the intent of Viaan here no one is judging him for his intent here. Problem here is in execution and inconsistency with what Viaan is saying and what he is actually doing. In hospital scene Katha clearly tells him that there is no place for another man in her life after Adi, he still goes ahead and propose to her with his feelings. Okay got it he wanted to let out and be free- fine. This post by Mili was only about confession and now Katha has said No to him in next episode. There is a scene maybe you are yet to catch up with where Viaan tells Ehsan that love needs patience and he is ready for it. Cut to next scene they show him going to Katha's cabin and declaring that he cannot be out of love, and she is his jugnu in whose light he wants to live.. There was huge inconsistency in what he said and he did. Patience is the word here. May be Katha is not there mentally where Viaan is right now in terms of love so what is he trying to do here- making her fall for him just because he has feelings for her and cannot undo it.If Katha is in denial, then also its her own conflict that should come on screen. That they showcased too with her taking time to give Viaan an answer. It cannot be denial already and may be katha never really felt like introspecting her feelings for Viaan and now with his confession, she might have reflection of her own thoughts about him. It need not be his constant stares and approach to her. He needs to accept her No and give her space.

Pardon my barging in , I am in rant mood all around the forum..lets hope next week episodes make me enjoy the show as much as you are doing 👍🏼

Thank you🤗 the 39 year old youth in me adores ASR probably minus his violent outbursts. Arshi couple are my favorite and how can I forget when ASR says who the hell is swamy🤪? swamy se accha laad governor hi tha😆, i dont want any kartavya🤣🤣 .Dialogues to die for I think we can never imagine glamorous, damn hot couple rabbavey-ing us with their romance, also causing laughter riot on prime time ITV. I am NGL I consider kidnap never happened, remarriage never happened and IMHO ipkknd ended abruptly after Holi.

Yes I like KRPKAB too for being realistic.

I love Arshi too but mature ME has many issues with Arnav now🤣but I will forever be grateful to them for the laughs.

I see Shaheer in your DP. KRPKAB fan?

Shalzie, my friend🤗 we are on the opposite sides of the line on this one🤔 Please know that the admiration is mutual❤️😃And you are too kind to say all those nice things about me❤️I feel that you have a lot more patience in understanding circumstances and people than me🤗. For me, there are "some grays" which I don't tolerate😳.

I think too much of real life makes up for the fabric of my being🤓, a position in the institution where I am on the board enforcing anti-harassment policies, won't let me look at the situation in any other way😲 May be a big blindspot or a bias, on my part😒.

I agree Katha is Viaan's lifeline, his window through which a bright light is shone on his darkness👍🏼 No two ways about it. But, that doesn't give him permission in anyway to inconvenience her.

As for respectful vs depraved stares, woh toh, who is getting stared at par depend hota haina? If I feel uncomfortable with some one staring at me, I don't care if there is respect or devotion. And for me even if Katha needs to feel that exhilaration of male attention, I will still object to forceful ( meaning unwanted) attention from him. In my book, she is perfectly capable of seeking and getting that attention when she is ready. Kya pata, hypothetically if she wants attention from Ehsan or a John Doe instead of Viaan?

Let us continue the debate and putting out our thoughts. This is how we can sharpen and clarify our thought process. I don't think you are I will shy away from looking at each other's vantage point😃👍🏼, and change or adjust our understanding of situations, my friend❤️

I tagged you in the next episode review too😃

Barge in whenever you feel like it😊I respect all POVs. I haven't seen the last 2 eps. I'll tag you when I respond to Mili's latest post.

Thank you for the kind words, and do call me out whenever you don't agree🤣

Bold: shouldn't be any other way Mili. Your bias is fine for there are people who are influenced by what they see. There's a fine line between admiration and harassment. I am fine with Viaan's actions for I feel that Katha is equally responsible for this situation. Women know when a man are interested in them. Contrary to what ITV will lead us to believe, most women also know whether they reciprocate the feelings or not.

Katha knew that the poem was for her. Hence, she passed on the message to Viaan in the hospital about there being no place for any man in her life. If you remember, she did the same with Ehsan. She lets the men get close and then shuts the door on them. Is that normal behaviour? Why accept to help Viaan? Why couldn't she simply say no to avoid any further misunderstanding? If Viaan was staring at her, then why stare back when he looked away? Why look at him in the kitchen?

Both Viaan and Katha are acting irrationally. I looked at the confession episode from the perception of the fiction which I am invested in. I personally loved it for I understood from where Viaan was coming. It takes one stuck person to appreciate the liberation which Viaan felt. There was freedom in his confession. I think Columbia said this...the confession was not about Katha but about Viaan. It may seem rushed or inappropriate but Viaan needed to go through this.

Thank you for your kind words too🤗I used to be a black or white person...with my lofty ideals and principles. Life taught me the greys. The only way to understand greys are through compassion. We only improve through the mistakes we make. Viaan is making his mistakes, and I feel that those mistakes are the only way to get through to Katha. She has garded herself like a fortress. I rarely write anything through Katha's POV for I see no real evolution in her character. She needs to either breakdown or unlock herself.

It's late on my side of the world. Good night😊

Hi,

When Viaan said he wants to be patient, he meant he's going to wait and not force Kathaa to agree, when he tells Kathaa that he can't move on meaning he is going to continue pursuing her and he's going to be persistent with his efforts.

Because they both work in the same office and he wants to do things which can make her feel comfortable in his opinion, yet they can be uncomfortable for a firmly independent woman who is not used to being pampered by a male since her husband's death. So it's going to be a totally unknown territory for her, it's his way of telling her how present can be beautiful as well. He is telling her beforehand his feelings towards kathaa hasn't changed and he's positive about their future(Kathaa doesn't see them having any future together)

Love is an amazing feeling, the beauty of love lies in giving and this man is dying to shower his lady with his love because he's overwhelmed with those uncontrollable feelings.

It's similar to the first rain after a hot sunny day which makes people want to drench themselves, but it can cause illnesses as well, still it's endearing.

From a businessman's perspective, Viaan marrying his employee who already has a kid can cause consternation in his business circle. Yet to him that doesn't matter as long as he has kathaa in his life.

He wants to understand and learn how to be a good father/father-figure even before becoming one, he knows it is quite a big responsibility and yet he want to be a good father/father-figure. Kathaa's son and his happiness is as important to him, because he is aware that aarav happiness is part of kathaa's happiness.

Not a pretty world is it? I deal with people living with a lot of grays in their life. My work revolves around getting them to the black and white. This is what all the teachings are about as well. Moving out of the grays and gaining clarity. Please don’t call it a blind spot! 😳😳

I guess if Katha wants to move on, she should be the one taking that decision. A good friend or family supporting or helping her make those decisions would be wonderful. Unfortunately for Viaan, she doesn’t consider him a good friend…. Fair enough as it is one of the most important decisions of her life.

It's late on my side of the world. Good night😊

@ bold..........Ouch😭 ! Shalzie, my friend🤗 I know you are kinder to Katha than this😒❤️. I am trying to tread very lightly here😵

To be fair, I don't think Katha let Ehsan close intentionally. She somehow didn't read him right ( I agree seemed very odd for someone with her EQ ). I think once she figured out the intentions, she told him about her state of mind with a finality, which left no doubts whatsoever.

With Viaan, she remained completely formal . Not a friend, not a foe, just a co-worker and boss. She seemed to have understood the poem is about her and so, again, she told him, about her state of mind. Again, with utmost clarity, koi gunzaaish hi nahin👍🏼Obviously, she couldn't be more forceful than this, as he at that time didn't say anything directly to her.

So, when he asked for help, she agreed. Again, I am not very familiar with the paath, but I think in general, during paaths, the whole community comes together to serve in any which way, in front of God. It is truly a beautiful thing. I think that is what she did.

Yet, he had this urge to tell her how he felt about her. Chalo! , sometimes it is better to spell out what you feel, so at least you have done everything you could. I agree with that feeling. I am all for liberation, but what I am saying is that in that quest for his liberation, he shouldn't be inconveniencing Katha.

He saw first hand how his mom is perceiving Katha, to be tempting him. He put the object of his affection in a very uncomfortable and tight spot. This time around, Katha either had to quit the job to avoid him OR once again clear the air as emphatically as possible. So, she called him to a place outside of the work space and did the honors. In her purview, Viaan is now a decent guy, he would understand that a no means only one thing and would back off.

In this situation, he went back to tell her again how he feels, and how he can't turn off " love". Fine, but iss mein Katha ka kya business hain? He can deal with his feelings and his love whichever way he wants to. If he wants to jump in joy after some jugnus, or wait around in the shadows forever or wallow in a dark hole, it is up to him. Why does Katha need to know? Especially, when she looks sooo uncomfortable. This revelation now is even worse for her. Like Bana said, they twisted the Kabir Singh here to say " Rab ne chaha toh", and I will continue to pursue you, till such time is sooo wrong. I don't know if the makers intent to bring Rab is to shut some of us🤢

Anyway, I don't know if I am repeating myself again and again.........
