So basically in the OG, ML asks the FL to spend a night with him..FL left with no option will agree to it. She gets the money and pays for the transplant. But this does not stop here..The ML asks her to spend another night with him and that this time he would give double the amount..And this is when the FL would decide to quit the job. I'm not sure if they would show all of this in the Indian version. And I really hope they do modify the story a bit cos otherwise the ML literally seems irredeemable. So far the execution has been amazing though!

It takes courage and skill to portray such a role and I'm sure Adnan will nail it.

I think some scenes will be very painful to watch. Even tonight's episode was quite emotional. 😭

I'm thrilled to see how the scenes are playing out so far. They are keeping it simple but still hitting all the right notes.

It's not so much about sanskar as his disdain for women who use their 'feminine charms' to entice men and gain position, wealth, etc. that way.

I just hate such kind of prejudiced men ..

He's not prejudiced in the typical sense. His father destroyed his family and childhood because he fell for such a woman and cheated his mother. He equally hates women who do this and men who fall for it.

But yes, his thinking on this topic is what forms the crux of the story and their interactions in future. The original is based on 1001 nights where the king suspects all women of being cheaters after his own wife cheats on him. Shaharazade wins him over by showing him not all women are like that, and that person will be Katha.

I love the play on words where the story is based on 1001 nights and the FL lead is called Katha, i.e. story/tale and her unspoken pain and struggles are Ankahee.

Yaa getting money for her is only huge twist of show which will impact on future story I really like OG version t ok be frank

I watched the original whatever available on youtube.Full episodes are not available though.The actors are intense .The acting makes the show too good.Lets see how Indianized version turns out to be.Till now fine.

Well, some EK shows have worse stuff.

It will work for ITV because the FL is majboor and widowed and the ML is taking advantage of her situation. He will be 'reformed' by her. Fits right into most ITV tropes.
