I have said this before as well and will say again its female leads that drive desi shows and bec Pre is so beyond poorly written and totally unrelatable and rather laughable that this show has not managed to click big time but has rather bombed.

Associate anything with pre and it becomes a sorry joke be it mba, her being a secretary, business women of the year award, revenge or even the likes of Bajaj and Anurag (who look better on their own) and now motherhood!! She makes everything look pathetic because her character is such. The character is just plain atrocious.

this is not about her Prerna as a woman or lover or wife BUT a MOTHER who lost her 2 day old baby .

she is an embarrassment in the name of a woman done and dusted , but with the way she is indulging in light banter with her "presumed killer" of her baby is just sad state and a mockery of motherhood

forget about mother, she never was , other than bearing a child biologically ..

what has the channel come down to , from Tulsi, Parvati , Prerna (S1) to this woman and they are mocking themselves by promoting their show in the name of this woman.

her breakdown at the orphanage which seemed so real now looks shallow , if the death of a child cannot bring the pain, the angst , the trauma and rage when she sees the presumed killer , what else will invoke .... highly insensitive n a mockery of her own child's death .

Great post ATC. Fierce protection towards your child is one of the most prominent features in most of the species on earth. The mother would kill if someone even threatened the child. But, sure what can we expect From a character which is so shoddily written. I don’t even understand what fries her brains. Her own parents don’t matter, her sister doesn’t matter, no child also doesn’t matter. What are we supposed to make out of this joke of the woman? I feel pity for her. I pray to the creatives that ar least she gets her happy ending with her Lord Anurag whom she doesn’t forget to worship and play cute Nok Jhonk with!

I shudder thinking about what will happen to this version of Prerna if she can't get her Lord in the end 😳 She has given up on motherhood,self respect,a vertebrae and what not for him. They truly deserve the worst together.
