Me :Do want you want to hear a joke on Motherhood?
The crowd : yes we do, we love jokes
Me : okay.... so...
.. Prerna
The crowd : *goes wild hooting and clapping and gives me a standing ovation* THAT'S SO FUNNY ITS HILARIOUS 🤣😂🤣😆
Me : but i didn't even get to the joke 😳oh well.. I'll take it *takes a bow*
Don't know where to even begin 😆 At this point to say Prerna is the worst written character on the show would be an understatement.
The most sacred thing on ITV is the mother-child bond so much so that most MLs cant even get a word in when abusive MILs torture the FLs, their silence partaking in the abuse themselves.
Maa ki izzat karna is above all. Nomatter Maa kaisi bhi ho.
A mother's relationship with their child is the strongest bond in the world, even way beyond the one spouses share.
Mothers can go to the ends of the earth for their children's wellbeing.
Why then is motherhood such a joke to Prerna and eventually has made her the joke itself.
Let me say this straight. She can end up with the ML, Anurag all she wants. She might not end up with him at all. But truly, why this the complete character assassination of Prerna the mother? I am speechless with what they are doing with her right now.
FOR THE TIME BEING ATLEAST, CANT THEY WRITE HER BETTER. FOR NOW?
What was the point of the 'Sneha dying' because of Anurag thing if Prerna is like this..
1. Daydreaming about dancing with the murderer of her child
2. Silly bantering with the murderer of her child
How is this something thats acceptable to anyone who sees Prerna as an individual. Why are writers turning her into such a joke of a mother?
This show has shown a lot of appalling things in the past but this has to be it.
ITV's FLs have always been angry goddesses raising hell on earth when it came to their children. They have demolished people who hurt their children and it was incredible to see the mothers going through such lengths to protect their children. They have even harmed their own vile children in the name of justice.
Where does Prerna even feature here? Nowhere.
Where is the rage, the hunger for revenge, the baying for blood of that person who separated your two days old daughter from you.
In KZK2, the FL doesnt have any self preservation when it comes to the ML. We get it. Nomatter what he does to her, she's mute. We get it It's a character trait at this point 😆
But seriously? The same for her dead daughter too? How detached and inhuman do you have to be to banter with your child's murderer.
Even if Sneha isn't dead, the ML actually separated the two and played God with their lives. A little baby who would need her mother the most- violently taken away. 8 years would mean so much was lost.
As the writers made Prerna say in the Orphanage scene : She would miss holding her hand, she would miss her first walk, her calling Prerna 'maa'.
Why then is Prerna being shown silly bantering with the person responsible for the death of her child?
Make it make sense.
At this point, there is no defence for Prerna.
The writers could have shown her pain, her trauma, her flashes of Sneha everytime she even looks at the one who took everything away from her. But,no.
This is the mother whose motherhood was snatched away from her and she finally came face to face with the one who did that.
WHERE IS THE RAGE OF THE MOTHER? Infact if stuck with the one who separated her from her tiny baby, she should have had trouble breathing. To be stuck in a closed space with that person.
Why are KZK writers so incompetent. Why are the senior CVS this incompetent that they can't write trauma.
Prerna was shown in the poorest light today. Regardless of Anurag and Prerna happening later or not, you just don't banter with someone who took your child away from you. Even if she herself does not care about being pushed from a bridge, her motherhood should have mattered. What a piss poor excuse of a mother they have made the FL. They have completely sacrificed the character at the alter of the ML.
KZK2 stays on brand. The worst writers and characterizations ever lol. The only consistent thing about the show.
