Whether you feel Mohini needed a slap or not, why is there a topic made on defending slapping? :/ I’m sorry but why even do that?

Forget fiction. The sad thing is that you’ve written a whole list of situations where slapping is necessary. Unless it’s in self-defence, slapping IS NEVER necessary.

Keep fiction and reality apart. It’s even sadder that 20+ have liked this post.

Wow I come back after a busy day and the thread is still open...thanks for the civilised discussion peeps🤗 This very much proves that in spite of having different views regarding slaps, we all r civilised enough...so yeah, those who were physically abused (read slapped occasionally) in their childhood like me aren't mentally affected or have undergone any trauma due to the "abuses"

Well, I feel this difference of opinion depends on the culture each one of us comes from. There r a few who have been brought up with slapping is violence, so no slapping at all. And there r a few like me who were slapped by their parents occasionally in their childhood, of course I might have cried or got mad with them, but today when I look back, I thank them for their every slap... because I know what an adamant kid I used to be and I would never understand things if I didn't wish to, so yeah, some strictness or terror was needed for me. And let me tell u, none of my parents are less cultured or unloving than any of those who didn't slap their kids. Every person has their way of treating their dear ones and none of us can say it is wrong unless we go through their journey. So this was about real life.

Coming to the show, well, this show isn't really worth justifying. What happens today is nullified tomorrow. So for once and the last time, this post was not to justify the show out of so called blind love for the fictional characters. Actually u justify something that u feel is wrong and needs to be defended. In first place, I refuse to consider moloy wrong today. He was very much right and I don't find any need to justify him. If this one emotional outburst turns into his habit and he goes on slapping her every now n then, I'll be the first one to create a post against him. So those who made the comments like anything to justify a fictional character, please spare me that from my next posts, thank you!🙏 Those who respectfully disagreed to what I wrote by putting their views forward and not getting personal with me or those having similar thoughts like me, you all sweethearts!🤗 And those who agreed with me, we r toh used to this violence since childhood...cheers to our tolerance levels!😀

Someone needs to update their comprehension skills. That's literally slapping. Striking someone physically on their face to hurt them.

Sorry to butt in Reemz but if 20 plus people like a post does that mean we're all justifying the slaps? Liking a post means to appreciate the effort the TM has made into making a post and I dont think she doesnt deserve this appreciation. She has put forward her views in a very well presented way and I personally loved to read it so I liked it.

If you dont agree doesnt mean you cant appreciate someones efforts...but yes that again is my pov😊

U may at times also slap n individual to jolt them to realization. Moloy's slap was tht impulse reaction to the filth tht came out of moh's mouth today. All this while i hv seen moloy being extremely patient with moh, whether it was nb marriage track when moh's name popped up or while anu's engagement announcement. Still he may hv excused her thinking her means were bad but may be intentions weren't totally off the road. But today he realized or witnessed a trashy mentality. A slap doesnt redeem moloy, but i am glad behind her back, someone took a stand for her. Its right when moh plays with ppl's life and toss them around... Its ok when she slapped pre or her own daughter... But its nt ok when she got the taste of her own bitter medicine?

I abhor violence. I abhor violence when it comes from a dominating husband or wife who treats their partner like dirt. But here the dynamics hv been different. Moloy has always stood by moh and hv treated her with respect... But this time she did cross the line. And she is solely responsible for tht lapse of respect. No incident can be or should be judged as a singular independent event but how it has comes thru in the sequence of events or the role it plays in the larger picture. Its nt tht moloy abused moh or threw her out of BB. But he expressed his impulse reaction towards the new low tht moh touched. No, i dont condemn it!

Thanks for the topic👍🏼

Wow. Classic case of 'because i wasn't affected it makes it okay and not problematic'. Well, well, well. What you are talking about here is a conditioning. People are conditioned to think physically striking someone on the face esp their children or spouses to keep them in line is for their own good. I would love to know which culture this is,cause Am Indian and its certainly not in my culture. Infact schools in India are now counselling parents and teachers to not do this because of the long term psychological effects and conditioning it results.

I dont agree to it , still u said it nicely ...

I still feel that it was moh that's why everyone is enjoying the slap ...tomorrow if prerna slaps komo that will also be justified ...anurag slapping komo was also cheered ...moh slapping pre was so wrong on so many levels ...things can be sorted out without slapping ..and let's not compare this with a mother and her child . A child has to be slapped sometimes to discipline them although, incessant slapping will serve no purpose but make them more stubborn....nowdays I am hearing complaints from the mothers more that when teachers used to slap children, it was a better time...and children , thy start thinking it's normal when its repeated over a period of time..its quite humiliating to anyone otherwise...may be I can't slap nor take it (anyone slapping anyone in real life ) may be that's why I cant see it that way..it should not be compared to abuse also..and violence..that's on a different level

Edit..anurag slapping prerna was also wrong

Did I write slapping is necessary? Really? I don't find that in my post. I have just listed out certain scenarios when people happen to slap. That's it. It is necessary or not, right or wrong, I haven't commented on it at all. Yes, there's one scenario I guess where I have written that u r left with no option and slapping is necessary. I have seen such cases in real life and I don't find anything wrong it it. Apart from that, I haven't written necessary anywhere. Please re-read and then comment. My post was very much keeping reality and fiction apart. In fact, what triggered me to write this post itself was that in real life, just one slap doesn't amount to abuse, violence or anything and here I saw people being hyper because it was claimed that they r showing physical abuse on TV. Well, to each their own, for u one slap might be abuse, for me it is not. Simple. If hundred posts on justifying a blackmail can be made, I m sure I can make one post in favour of innocent or unintentional slapping.
