Wasn't it Prerna in season 1 who didn't now down to anyone when Anurag betrayed her while she was pregnant? She fought the world, she worked hard, got the job for herself but didn't let Anurag's betrayal hinder her at all. What exactly is the problem if she does that again here?

Ugly world out there is no excuse to how poor her characterization has been shown in this version.

Yeah she can. I meant she can't file for a divorce on the grounds mentioned there. But the question is why would she? I haven't seen her regretting her marriage at all. She's miserable that she ruined Anurag's life, deeply angry that Bajaj did that to her. But she's accepted it! The question of divorce arises when she's looking for ways to get out of the marriage.

2. I don't think the 50% property is valid in India. Look at most couples in India, it's not US where Jeff Bezos had to give away half his wealth. Here people pay hefty alimony.

3. Domestic violence. And why would she do that? When the hell did that happen? And if you are suggesting a false case, if Prerna were that morally shallow, then she'd have backed out of the marriage in Point 1. Not get married and then file for domestic violence. And truth be told, I can't handle a woman filing a false case like that. Puts her in bad light. And she's too morally upright to do that.

4. She can tell Anurag. But her belief that that would ruin him is far greater than her love for him or her yearning to go back to him. And why would she ask money from him? Bajaj told her he accepted her with her child right? So that means he'd sponsor.

Points 5 and 6 are absolutely valid. But this is a TV show. 😆 So the show wouldn't be appealing if she were shown going to Government offices and banks for loans etc. This is not the kind of show that shows that. There are serials. But this is not the one.

What I would suggest to her, life with Bajaj isn't seeming impossible now coz she actually cares for Kuki. Why can't she study, take Bajaj's help for her education? Finish it, find a job, have a baby, or run that publication Division of his, become more independent, eventually pay back whatever Bajaj paid her, and then go for a divorce? And then decide if she wants to be with A or B.

You are not allowed to play fair with an evil. Bajaj came in her life with tricks . Nothing is wrong in playing dirty with him. I don't find it any wrong in false domestic violence case. He is no saint or innocent to desrve fair treatment. Defeat the evil with his own ways. That is rule of life.

Keeping a child away from his biological parent. Is she doing right?

Prerna may be morally correct for many. Some may recognized her sacrifice but for me she is a weak woman who never fight her battle. She took opportunity available to her.

Police, court, administration isn't a joke. Take that route lady but why you will take that. All you have to do is to marry a wealthy businessman. All your expenses will be taken care of, your child will be taken care of. Why you choose to fight for the man you claimed to love?

You are right. They no longer are shown to be as powerful as before. The devolution is absurd to be honest because there are female-centric shows which portray the evolution so convincingly. I miss my Sonakshi, Swadheenta, Jodha, Priya, Devaki & so many other female leads which left a mark in the past.

Ekta's shows show good female characters in web series but in recent TV shows, female characters are bad for the current time period.

Prerna. That woman’s character has been a joke since day one. It’s 2019, but they refuse to move forward. She’s ready to marry anyone, sacrifice everything at the drop of a hat. She wouldn’t bother trying to work, wouldn’t even try getting herself out of a situation. Her pregnancy has been the most inconsistent track ever. I have zero expectations from her.

Now Bajaj. He brought his daughter into an environment where he knows everyone is downright hostile. His “wife” is living with her ex’s family and if he has any past beef with the Basus then how can he forget that they might be vile and he has thrust his family in that madness?!

I completely agree with how you think everything would unfold. It’s going to be that cliched and she’s going to be at the receiving end of endless verbal insults.

It’s just sad to see how easily we overlook the hogwash because “cmon yaar. It’s an Ekta show.”

The shpw is named wrong you know.. It should have been, 'kasautii Prerna ki'.

I hope you guys stop watching the show... Ek should learn that the 2001 storyline will not work this time.. She could have just adopted a totally duff storylinr other than this!!! Nam Kzk rakh liya toh wahi characters. Wahi track sab rakhna tha kya!!!!

Its high time we boycutt the show...
