First of all, business acquisitions don’t happen such dramatically and no acquisition stakeholders call each other names!

So, give some credit to Ekta for bringing this unnecessary melodrama. Business acquisitions happen when the current business is in trouble and the current employer isn’t able to sustain. That’s real life business for you. So, I do not see anything vile in this. By this means, everyone in the business world would be vile!

So Bajaj, vile - No

Selfish and self centred- Yes

No one is selfless in this world. So can we not talk black and white?

Irredeemable? Well, that’s too early to say even!

Older Man- Well, I never knew that older people are supposed to be discarded or even dissed?

Having said all of this, people aren’t cheering for Bajaj, they are cheering for the acting and the character impact it brings to the table. There was a dramatic introduction for Prerna, Anurag too! They were cheered as well.

This is not about who is better, it is about the journey of three individuals who are thrown with each other in a story. The story is about their journey, towards each other, with each other or away from each other.

Forgiveness, compassion and redemption are bigger words and require journey, effort and a soul churning. Not that I expect anything from an Ekta Drama but it’s important not to pitch Anurag against Bajaj. They aren’t competitors, they are people who have a journey and interaction. Anurag or Bajaj who deserves Prerna is not the question. It is their journey that matters.

Sadly, such story telling doesn’t exist anymore anywhere. For oldies like me, it’s okay to search for more in stereotypical romance!

Thank you so much for putting it so well. Glad you pointed out bajaj being called an oldie. Unfortunately here the characters are cheered only for the actors who are playing them . Today is his first day and lets see his character arc and what changes he brings to other characters...i only appreciate good characters irrespective of who plays them . I am not too fond of ksg but if mr bajaj is good, i will cheer for him

Reg business acquisitions , she did show that shell companies created by mr bajaj were buying the shares pf bp since long so mr bajaj is someone who takes advantage of the problems in the companies and compels them to sell it at a cheaper price . Why did he choose bp is yet to be seen . I think someone mentioned that komo sold the shares of bp to him...i didnt find it melodramatic but he is shown to be a very shrewd businessman .

@bold . So true 👏

I guess what I have a problem with is the silly mocking of the leads and their characters or scenes and a blind exalting of bajaj.

It is a journey where as of none prerna and anurag to be young and good bht with a tendency to make foolish mistakes and bajaj is shown to be currupt and without scruples. And their journey - how can this be kept sane rather than unbelievable.

I am glad that you you found it fair and need I say, equally nice reply. Insanity is a pre-requisite for epic stories! As they say,

Unless it's mad, passionate, extraordinary love, it's a waste of your time. There are too many mediocre things in life. Love shouldn't be one of them.

People make mistakes and they evolve, they move on, they learn and they express and accept. That’s how people are in real lives! Comparing and contrasting is inevitable in the -HINDI TV DRAMA WORLD.

Comes as a part of baggage and online fan wars. A story is beyond Jodi’s, it should be an experience. If we view it like that, mutual respect and adulation for all characters automatically follows.

Bajaj is needed for the story to evolve and move ahead. Sometimes, love is highly overrated and comes in different forms. You can love two people at the same time but forms could be different.

Let’s see how things unfold. 😊

Thank you smiley9 That’s the older age of mine talking.

IF has become a different place altogether. It’s hard to express without riling each other up in the wrong way. Appreciate a respectful conversation. Thank you.

Thank you for saying this, I had told this in other forum, but was not accepted, love does not have to be of one form, one can live more than one person in different ways, Anurag is prerna passion, her weakness but Bajaj eventually make her strong and mature and she will love and respect him for that.

True, bajaj is needed for the story to move ahead, as of now they r just two people in new love, with bajaj in, the strength of their love will be tested and bajaj will add more to Anupre equation.

Glad you like it. First of all, ageism is a sad reality of our society. I have seen crazy disrespectful comments hurled at older people calling them Aunties, uncles in a sarcastic way. Likewise, a stereotypical representation of younger people by older generation to be reckless and stupid. Every age brings something or the other to the table. If youth brings adventure and passion, age brings maturity and stability. Not that, contrary personalities don’t exist on both the sides :)

I am not a KSG fan too but I liked whatever I saw till now. His character brings impact and a sense of thrill. That’s a storyteller’s art.

They did mention that and trust me for someone who has been in the Luxury Retail Industry for a decade like me, I’ve seen enough antics like this by shrewd businessmen. It’s a part of their strategy. So, there’s nothing gut-wrenching repulsive act done by Bajaj till now. Malevolent and manipulative-Yes

Viciously horrible- No for sure.
