Is Veena justified ?- the CVs are listening ?

I might be wrong with the spelling , so sorry.
The main reason for this post is that I feel that Prerna's family reaction is completely opposite to what I except . They are angry and that what it should be . What I mean is , how come did veenacompletely lose her trust on her 25 year old daughter in a matter of 10 mins ?
Anurag barely talks to her , and is completely sold that she isn't happy . Even Moloy takes her away to talk to her , but alas he too can't dig deeper and also starts to believe that she wants to marry Mr. creep ( no offence to the actor portraying him ) . However , , he doesn't say "Is this your real character " like some others , nor does he raise his hand on her. Rajesh is still fine , at the subconscious level , it seems he also thinks there's something more . But Veena truly broke my heart .
I hope they are super involve with Anurag in breaking the marriage .

I think you are asking about Prerna's mother here? Her name is Veena..

you mean Prerna's mom? I think her name might be Veena or something. But ya I think she lost her trust on Prerna because Prerna said some really hurtful things. Like she said that she doesn't want to stay up all night wrapping gifts for her mom and that her parents can't support the lifestyle that she wants. Imagine being a parent and trying your best to make your kids happy only to have them grow up and insult your upbringing. Moloy and anurag weren't hurt by Prerna. I'm actually quite pleased with veena's reaction. She's no nonsense so far. When she found out about Prerna's decision to marry naveen, she reacted with just the right amount of drama and emotion in my opinion.

I too like the way Veena reacts to most situations . I totally get your point of view , but it was just that she should have shown a bit more trust . If not immediately , maybe after a while when she had calmed down , is what I meant .
And OMG , I meant Veena only , can't believe I made that mistake . 😳

True, as a mother who has known her daughter for very long she should have had her own doubts and be more critical about her daughter's behavior.. And she is..

👏.. She has picked a right thing about the situation using it in her favor.. Like the money, status and luxury.. And she's just being too stubborn and vocal about her wants her.. In fact she's taking all points for which there is no denying from Veena's side because she too has had few complaints against Rajesh on this regard..😉

And Prerna is not shutting herself instead she's being too open about what she is trying to get out of this wedding in a very unwelcoming way.. And at times parents are taken aback with some sudden changes in their children doubting their own capability as a parent "did I miss to see this? Has she always been like this and I didn't know about it"

And Erica is doing a wonderful job here. It all looks so real for the person in front of her..👏She's portraying the stubbornness for her age so very well that one finds it very difficult to get through her without she giving way for it.. She really makes us hate her actions and get irritated with her here..👏

but with Anu she's unable to say anything😳.. Thats where her silence is a big give away for him to doubt her actions.😉

I don't know how I messed that up . 😳 it's just that I feel pretty sad for Prerna . And I LOVE anurags reaction . I didn't think he would have such an automatically favourable reaction towards Prerna and that left me positively stunned . Can't wait to see how this track unfolds. Fingers crossed . Yes , I totally agree Prerna has said all the correct things in a manner which hits the bullets . And I couldn't agree more with your take on Veena . She too is disheartened by her status , more so socially than economically , I'll say . This is something similar between the 2 moms .

If anurag does not believe prerna's decision and didn't doubt her even after seeing the cheque, how do her parents believe her lies about wanting a luxurious life? Im not saying dont get angry with her or don't get hurt by her words but atleast try to think why such a drastic change may have happened in her behaviour OVERNIGHT? Veena is supposed to be her mother FGS! A mother ought to know how her child is and what she is or is not capable of doing. But well, if veena doesn't react the way she did, how will they show a reunion drama between prerna and her parents? How will prerna be seen as even more mahaan by them?

This is the reason for Veena's reaction...nothing else!

Hahah , you literally read my mind . A lot of things get sorted by this .
Anurags trust on her , Prerna becomes Maahan and stronger bond among families . More importantly , the stepping stone for Prerna to fall in love with Anurag on seeing his trust in her and however he will stand by her . Moreover , maybe even to some extent for Anurag , as he sees her values and family nature .

I understand how everything is set up against Prerna by her self.. She has brought it upon herself and she has nobody other than herself to blame for her state . He is the only one coming as a breath of fresh air , amidst all this.. Even though she is trying hard to keep her resolve, I think somewhere she may reach her breaking point which she has been doing when she's alone.. Right now it's too many things going on for her not allowing her to sit and worry about what she has been doing😆..

Let's see whether her character is defined or only the drama is defined..😆

It's only because it's Erica I could still stand Prerna.. Else I don't know whether I wud have had the patience to see through this😆

With the limited scope of the characterization Erica has gone into it and doing wonderful..👏

The one thing which I definitely want the drama to define is that Anu isn't spinlesss .
Of course , I wouldn't mind it to be a stepping stone in their relationship also. Hmm , it's will be interesting to see how Prernas character gets defined through this drama , maybe make her realise the reality of life and less of a dreamer ?
