I don't subscribe to the view of 'pati parmeshwar hai'...ut I definately believe that ur husband is the MOST important part of ur life...actually even more imp than ur life. That's what I believe...bcoz for me, my husband would be the most treasured person, the person who has given me my kids..who will be the father of my kids...he will be the one jo mujhe poora karega..i can't putthat in english...I feel I would be incomplete w/o him....so how can anyone else be more imp than him?

Abt the parmeshwar thing...don't be too surprised...many girls still may be holding that viewpt in life..coz that's what they are brought up with...it is also a form of referance...married women are many times asked 'Aapke pati parmeshwar kahan hai?'..doesn't mean that the women really considers the husband as God...there are also many customs in Hinduism which imply that husbands are God..like touching the husband's feet during karvachauth, fasting the entire day w/o even water for ur husband's long life, performing poojas so that u get the same hubby in all 7 lives....many women follow tehse c**toms, but that doesn't mean they consider husbands as God.

But the point here is not abt Indian traditions..its abt the lack of values Ekta portrays & the audience support

Why should Bajaj and Sam step back? They are not young lovers who should realise that AP cannot be separated - they are MARRIED> I don't know about AP, but marriage is a HUGE deal - you don't play around with it. AP are effectively having an affair, the only thing they aren't doing is sleeping together (although you could persuade me to think otherwise with the whole "we need to save Sneha so need to procreate" issue...Bajaj and Sam expect something from their spouses, which is natural, seeing as they have a righ to do so. Tell me, when AP were married, why did they break up? Maybe you'll say it was because of Bajaj's "scheming", but the bottom line is that AP were not able to trust each other. Did Anurag not get jealous when Prerna defended Bajaj or wenrt to his house at odd times or took care of his children? Did he say "Oh Prerna, I know that your DOSTI with Bajaj is PAVITRA"??? NO, because, believe it or not, he wanted his wife to be loyal to him and not another man, whether or not that man is her friend is of no consequence. So why is it that when Bajaj feels the same insecurities as Anu, he is in the wrong? Bajaj and Prerna have spent 20 YEARS together - thats my entire freaking life!!! They have raised (if not birthed) 5 children together - so does Bajaj not even have that much right on his wife?

Even in real life, when two people are together, they do not like it when their partner gets too friendly with an ex - they get jealous. So why should Bajaj and Sam's jealousy come under suspicion?? How can Prerna say to Bajaj that he is her life, then turn around the next minute and tell Anu that he is the only one who ever understood her??? The problem with AP is they want everything. they want each other, but they also want the security of their spouses lurking in the backgeound: someone to run off to when the going gets tough. Komo and Debo are right when they say that Prerna needs two men in her life: one to share her life with and the other her pains with. When Anu hurt Prerna, she runs to Bajaj to cry on his shoulders: when something happens to Bajaj, she runs to Anu in a pretence of wanting to protect her husband...Same goes for Anu.
