Sicko calls 24/7 "This man is sick and he talks utter nonsense. Love, sex and marriage is what he wants from me," fumes Vaishnavi ,who features as Meera in the Sony daily, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si. "Initially, I just ignored it and thought it was one of those crazy fans. But this man is persistent. He calls up 24/7 at his convenience. It's getting even more sick, day by day." Prepaid number The actress is now terrified every time she receives an SMS. "Whoever this person is, I need to expose him. The number that flashes whenever he calls is 099490686991. I have been told this is a pre-paid card number. I want to teach this person a lesson. He has no right to ruin my peace of mind. This is no joke or a crank call. What kind of weirdo is this man? He must be mentally sick," fumes Vaishnavi, who is also seen as Ishita in Star Plus' late night thriller, K Street Pali Hill. Out of hand She claims that these messages and calls started coming almost a year ago. "When it began, I thought this man must have got the number wrong. So I would just trash it. But in the last few months, it has gone out of hand. The messages are sexually explicit. I thought the best way out was to ignore it. But he now has the audacity to call me and change his voice every time! It's so embarrassing to even tell anyone about the content. But now, I have realised there is no point keeping quiet. It has started affecting me now. I have a husband and a small daughter. I just want this man to be caught and punished." Along with her husband, Leslie MacDonald, she had been to the Oshiwara police station, a while back, to lodge a complaint. "But all these procedures and the paper work takes so much of time. I hope at least now this man refrains from indulging in this sick activity." | |||
