Departure is never joyous and same was the case when Bani left Mt. Abu. Bani and her mother really cried really hard and even her father eyes weren't dry either.

"Beta meri beti ka khayal rakhna. Mujhe tumpar pura bharosa hain ferbhi ek baap ke dil ko kaun samjhae" said Nishikant folding his hands in front of Jai.

"Baba aap bilkul bhi chinta mat ki jiye. Bani ko koi musibat nahi hogi hum use bahut khush rakhebge" replied Jai.

"Bani beta apna, Jai ka uski puri parivaar khayal rakhna, sab ke saath pyar se rahna aur ha meri kahi bato ko dhyan me rakhna" said Kiran wiping Bani's cheek while tears were unashamedly flowing from her own eyes. Bani didn't say anything simply nodded. She hugged her parents and friends and at inside the car. She kept on sobbing on the car and finally slept. Jai didn't know what to do then let her cry.

Bani was in deep slumber when she suddenly woke up due to a jerk. First thing she heard as she opened her eyes was Jai's cursing. He was trying to start the engine but it was just making some noise and eventually that also stopped. He opened the door and went to check on the car. He tried to fix something but as he had very limited knowledge regarding car's problem he couldn't do it. After waiting for some minuted even Bani came out.

"Kya huwa Mr. Walia? Gadi kyun nahin chal rahi ha"

"Pata nahin Bani lagta hain kuch problem hain. Aur yaha par network bhi nahin lag raha hai ki main ghar walo ko bata doon. Wo log hum jyada se dur nahin unhi ke saath chale jate lekin ab to wo bhi na mumkin lag raha hain"

"Mr. Walia sayad koi gadi hum se piche ho?"

"Nain Bani hum log jab petrol bhar wane gae the to main sabse piche tha. Tabhi gadi kharab nahin hui yaha bech sadak main jungalo ke beech kharab hona tha. Dammit"

"To ab kya kare Mr. Walia."

"pata nahin bani. Mechanic bhi door door tak nahin hain. Sayad network lagjae. Ab sirf intazar karna parega. Sayd koi hume lift dede"

They waited for about an hour in road, even asked lift to four five cars but none of them bothered to stop. Jai was getting frustrated every minute. It was going to get darker now.

"Mr. Wali ek kaam kare"

"Kya?"

"Main yaha par let jati hun aur aap chup jae ye. Sayad mujhe raste par leta huwa dekh kar koi lift dede" suggested Bani.

Jai looked at Bani with bewilderment. "Bani tumhe sirf yehi bakwaas sujha"

"Aur nahin to kya kare? raat bhar yahin ruke ur intazar kare ki kab ghar walo ko pata chale aur dhunte huwe chale aaye Ya fir chalet huwe jae" replied Bani.

"Oho Bani gussa kyu karti ho. Sabar karo kuch na kuch hojaega"

After thinking a lot

"Bani mujhe ek idea sujha"

"Kya?"

"Lekin uske liye tumhe pergnent banna hoga"

"What?" and took one step away from Jai. Now it was Bani's turn to get shock.

"Sacchi ki nahin sirf juth muth ke"

"Lekin.. lekin.. Hum jooth bolenge" said Bani recovering from the shock.

"Acha to jooth aur jo idea tum de rahi thi wokaun sa sach tha"

Bani kept quite for some time and said "Lekin main jooth muth ke hi sahi pregnant kaise banu"

"Bani bag main kapde he na uski madat se. Samjh?"

Bani nodded and started taking out clothes from bag. After ten minutes Bani called him

"Mr. walia dekhiye to thik hain na" and showed him very big belly.

"Bani tum kya koi janwar ho. Tumhara pet nau nahin athara mahina ki lag rahi ho.Tu dhek kar log hume lift dene ke baja bhag jaenge. Idhar aao" saying that he pulled Bani toward himself and started taking out clothes.

"Bani ek bedsheet kafi tha aur kapde kyu dale?". He was doing arranging clothes that he didn't realise what he was doing to Bani. The way Jai hand was moving and touching her everywhere was causing havoc in her body. It was first time some male was touching to her that she was unable to comprehend what is happening to her. Jai was muttering to himself and was asking several questions to Bani but was getting no reply to her as she was in state to give. Finally after being satisfied of his work Jai looked at Bani to ask her but stopped. The expression on her face and her eyes said him what blunder he did some minute ago. He didn't know what to do. Bani was just staring at him. Before anything happened Jai turned other way and coughed which brought bani out of her trance.

Silence filled in the air. No one spoke and simply just waited for any car to come. After fifteen minutes a car came and stopped in front of them. There was a cute family inside. A couple and husband's parents were sitting inside.

"Bhai sahab hun logo ki gadi kharab hogae hain. Hum log ek ghante se yaha beth rahe hain kya aap log hame lift denge"

Looking at their pregnant wife and their situation the family thought to give them lift. It was big car where six people could sit so there was no problem of seat.

"Aap log kaha ja rahe hain?" asked the man.

"Ji hum log mumbai ja rahe hain" replied Jai.

"Are ye o achi baat hain hum bhi mumbai hi ja rahe he" said the old man(father)

"Bahut khoobsurat jodi hain. Kyu love marriage hain?" asked the old lady(mother)

yes replied Jai and no said Bani. The family got confused.

"Ha bhi nahin bhi ye kya baat hui" asked the lady(wife)

"Ji baat ye he ki pehle love huwa fir ghar walo ko bol kar arrange marriage huwe. Isliye ha bhi aur na bhi" replied very nervous Jai.

"Saddi kitne huwa beta?"

"Ek saal"

"Do mahina"

"Kya?"

"Ji hamar matlab hain ek saal do mahina. Hum log ese hi jawab dete hain kyu bani?" asked Jai laughing like a fool who was dreading what their another question might be.

"Acha batao kitne mahine huwe?"

Both of them didn't reply thinking other will reply and they might have to face same problem but none replied and kept looking at each other. They were waiting for their answer and then both replied at once

"saat mahina"

Thank god fortunately both of them said same answer this time.

"bahut khush hogi na? Pehla bacha hain." Said the lady. Bani simply nodded.

"Check karwaya ladka he ya ladki?" asked the old lady

"Ladka"

"Ladki"

All the family member were looking at them confused.

"Ji hamara matlab hain ki twins ha" replied Bani fast and gave a very nervous smile. Jai was thinking why did he ever made his wife fake pregnant.

"Wow. Twins aur bhi ladka aur ladki. Kitna pyara hain, haina raj" exclaimed Lady to his husband.

"to phir naam bhi to rakha hoga"

"Ha" replied Jai

"nahin" replied Bani.

Before family member could ask any thing Jai said "Je wo maine rakha hain lein abhi tak bani ko nahin bataya"

"Ooo. Lekin naam kya socha hain" asked lady again seeing him quiet.

"Umm ladka ka naam Soyam aur Ladki ka Krishna"

"Bohut pyare naam hain beta jan sakti hu kyu?" asked the old lady. Everyone attention was on jai even Bani was interested to know.

"Ji esi koi khash baat nahin hain. Krishna is liye kyu ko wo meri ma ka naam tha jinhe main bahut pyaar karta tha aur Soyam. Maine apne bahut sare business partners ke bete ko dekha hain. Koi kaam ke nahin hote siwah ye kehne ki unka baap ka naam kya hain aur usi ke sahare age bad te hain lekin main chahta hoon ki jab mera beta ho wo apne liye raste khud banaye. Main chahta hoon ki wo khoob mehnat karke apna naam khud kamaye apne bal bute se. Main chahta hoon ki log use ye na kahe ki wo Jai Walia ka beta hain balke mujhe Kahe ki main Soyam ka pitah hoon. Isliye Soyam" saying that he smiled at everyone.

"Naam to pyara hain ha lekin ab aur bhi acha lag raha hain" said lady which made everyone laugh except Bani who was lost in Jai's and her mother words.

"kabhi socha ki Ja ke dil main kya hain? Uske armaan, uske ichchya, uske sapne kabhi pucha tune use?"

How true were her mother's words. She never once thought of Jai, his emotions, his desire it was just she, she and she. Never in her life she felt this bad and guilty. Silently they rode to Mumbai Bani lost in her word and Jai trying to call home.
