"God, where is that guy?", bani muttered
Jai had told bani to meet him in front of a certain restuarant, but where was Mr.Ego? Nowhere! Bani was very tempted to go home right now, coz she was feeling very uncomfortable as there were some guys who were giviing her weird looks and looking at her as if she was candy
"Probably clones of Sameer", bani thought
After she had gone home yesterday, sameer hadn't given her a moments' peace. He was always staring at her and following her around and trying to impress her.
And Meera was acting strange also. when Bani asked her to pass her the salt at dinner, she had given Bani a nasty look. Bani had been too shocked to react
And now, Jai Walia was keeping her waiting in a restuarant with a bunch of hooligans. Ufff!!!!!!
She turned to look at the door, and Sameer came in.
"Duoble trouble", thought Bani and she tried not to grimace at the bandar
Sameer looked around the restuarant and when his eyes fell on Bani, he walked towards her table, with his nose in the air.
"Hey Bani!", sameer said when he reached her table,"What are u doing here?"
"Sitting", Bani replied cooly, hoping he would get the idea and buzz off
"I have got a great joke Bani.Wanna hear it?"
Bani rolled her eyes. For the past few days, sameer had been trying to crack jokes to make bani laugh, but he had only ended up annoying her. Sometimes she felt like squashing his nose wit her fist
"No, Sameer, I don't wanna hear it. I am on a date"
Sameer's face fell and his eyes blazed with anger
"With who?", he rasped
"Umm, with Todd", Bani made up a random name.There was no way she was going to tell sameer about her and Jai. He would ruin everything before it even got started
Sameer's face somewhat calmed, but he still had that hard look in his eyes
"And who is this Todd?", sameer asked
"Someone I met"
"Where did u meet him?"
"In college"
"Strange, I don't know him. What does he look like?"
"Do I need to tell u everything, sameer?" Bani snapped. He had defintely crossed he line this time. She felt like kicking him
"Hey, I was just trying to be nice" sameer replied
"U want to know how to be nice sameer? Give me some privacy and leave me alone", bani said menacingly
"Okay baba, I am going" and with that he left
"U really have manners don't u bani?", a voice said from behind
Bani turned around and looked into Jai's beautiful and addicitve eyes
"Tum!"Bani shouted
"Hain mein. Aur kon?" , Jai asked looking amused
"U are 1 hour late Jai Walia", Bani said
Jai looked surprised
"Bani, I am actually 15 minutes early. Look", and he showed her his watch, which read 6:45, and their date was scheduled at 7:00 pm. Bani looked at her watch and which read 8: 00 pm and then at the restuarant clock which seemed to agree with Jai's watch
"Ufff!!!!U mean I was here for no reason! If I was late, I wouldn't need to even bother with Stuck-up sameer"
"Don't worry jaan, I will make it up to u" Jai smiled at Bani, and he led her outside to his black BMW, and told her to get in.
"Where are we going, Jai?", Bani asked curious
"To our date", Jai said and he drove away
