Loves his family a lot and is willing to do anything for them. Has retired and lives with his family at Walia Mansion.
Krishna Walia: Wife of Uday Walia. A loving woman, her family comes first for her. Has 2 children, all the apple of her eye.
Jigyasa Bali: Younger sister of Jai Walia. Was married to Aditya Bali, has 2 children, Ranveer Bali and Anu Bali. Got a divorce from her husband and lives with her brother at Walia Mansion. Is very arrogant that she is a Walia and that she is very rich.
Jai Walia: Eldest child of Uday and Krishna Walia. 28 years of age. Together with his father he worked at WGI and then took over as his father stepped down. Though young, he had always handled any kinds of projects that came his way in the most profession way possible.
Aditya Bali: Best friend of Jai Walia after he married his sister. Works with Jai at WGI and is always giving useful tips for his business. Divorces Jigyasa but lives with her at her brother's home just for his children.
Ranveer Bali: Eldest son of Aditya and Jigyasa Bali. Works at WGI, known to be stern at office but the opposite at home. Spoils his only sister by giving in to all her wishes but is strict with her at times. Loves his family a lot and lives with his mom at Walia Mansion. Is in love with Rano Dixit after she came to his workplace for a job.
Anu Bali: Youngest child of Aditya and Jigyasa Bali making her everyone's precious especially her Mamaji and brother. Always got what she wanted but was never arrogant. Loves her family a lot and never failed to bring a smile on their faces. Lives with her mom at Walia Mansion.
Nishikant Dixit: Moved with his daughters to Mumbai after their mother, Kiran Dixit passed away. Took the support of alcohol as he couldn't tolerate the fact that his wife had left him. His two daughters, handled everything for him and took care of him.
Bani Dixit: Eldest daughter of Nishikant Dixit. 25 years of age. Loves her family a lot. Took the responsibility of taking care of her home and her younger sister. Took up many jobs to keep up with the tough times.
Rano Dixit: Youngest child of Nishikant Dixit. 22 years of age. Very mature for her age. Loves her family a lot and wouldn't allow anyone to say anything about them. Got a job at WGI and fell in love with her boss, Ranveer Walia. (note: Rano got a job at WGI and got to know the Walias before Bani who was doing other jobs)

Chapter 1
~ Dixit House
Drawing the curtains back, Bani Dixit allowed the warm rays of sunlight to fall on her face. It felt so refreshing. Its been 2 months since she left her home in Mount Abu and also her mother's death. Tears formed in her soft brown eyes threatening to spill but Bani knew she couldn't allow herself to be weak. She had her father and sister to support and she would never let anything happen to the 2 most precious people in her life. Wiping her tears away, she went towards her little sisters room to wake her up who she knew, was still snuggled up in bed under her cosy blanket.
"Rano! Utho'! Arre utho na Rano! Tumhe kaam pe nahin jana!" Bani screamed as she pulled the curtains open in the room letting the bright sunlight hit the room. "Di'. Kya kar.. Rahi ho.." Rano said groggily squinting her eyes in the sudden light.
"Tumhe job pe nahin jana kya meri pyaari si Rano" Bani said as patted her sister's head affectionately. This little girl though younger than her by 3 years, was very mature for her age. At 22, she was working as a personal assistant at one of the well known companies. She was proud of her little sister for taking up responsibility for her family.
A smile formed on Rano's sweet face as she felt her Di patting her affectionately. Her Di was her everything. She never hid anything from her, not even the fact that she was in love with her boss. There were many arguments in regards to this due to status and all but all was resolved by the end of the day. That reminded her, she was late for work! " I am late! Arre bapre!" she screamed. Scrambling out of bed, she ran towards her bathroom to take a bath and change. Bani laughed as she saw her sister getting all frantic. She made the bed and left the room, not before saying, "I will get breakfast ready! Come fast!

Chapter 2
~ Walia Mansion
Uday Walia came down the huge stairs to the dining table for breakfast. Greeting his wife, he settled down on his seat and grabbed the newspaper and was off to reading all the news published in that paper. Krishna sighed as she saw her husband like always engrossed in his daily newspaper. Pouring a glass of fresh orange juice and getting french toast from the kitchen, she carried the set of food to the table. Grabbing the newspaper from his hands, she laid out his breakfast for him. "Arre, Krishna, padne do na mujhe. " Uday said exasperated. "Dekhiye, aapka nashta tayyar hain. Kha lijye. Yeh newspaper to pura din yahi hain. Shaam ko padlena." His wife replied in an authorative tone. Uday knew there was no place for arguments. Smiling, he ate his breakfast as his wife prepared another set of breakfast for his son, Jai who was nowhere in sight. Putting his glass down he asked, " Yeh Jai kaha reh gaya?"
"Mein yahan hoon Dad", a deep voice said. Turning around, Uday and Krishna saw their son, Jai in a black suit, dressed to kill. Hair gelled up perfectly, looking as dashing as ever. Jai came forward and took blessings from his parents who were his God. He was willing to do anything for them, anything. As Jai took his seat, Krishna served him his breakfast and lightly patted his cheek and teasingly said, " Arre wah Jai, aaj to bohot handsome lag rahe ho! Kyun kya baat hain?" Uday was clearly trying to hide his laughter and Jai, boy was he embarrased or what! Blushing, he looked at his mother," Mom! Kya keh rahi ho!" Laughing, his mother left father and son alone and went to take care of other things. Eating his breakfast, Jai discussed with his father the plans for the day at work and left soon afterwards.
~ Walia Group of Industries
As Jai entered the builiding, all employees at once stood to greet their boss, the Jai Walia, not wanting to incur his wrath early in the morning. As he entered his cabin, he checked his emails and calendar for his appointments and meetings for the day. Sighing, he left for the conference room, thinking, "Its gonna be a long day again!"
Ranveer Bali dressed in a beige suit entered the building, greeting everyone with a smile he walked to his cabin to find his PA dressed in a white business suit, hair tied neatly waiting for him. Stopping, he stared at this young beautiful girl Rano. She had came for an interview for a job in his company and the moment he saw her, a strange feeling took over him. There was something about her that made him attracted to her. Slowly, she made her way to his heart through her perfect business attitude, her small chatter, the way she mingled with his family members and how she took care of him. Shaking his head, he thought "Okay enough is enough. Time for work!"
