Chapter 5

~ Dixit House

" Kya?? Ranveer Walia?? Aap yahan kyun aye hain? Dekhiye, meri behen mera sab kuch hain. Aap log bade aur amir log hain.. Hum chote hain bohot paise wale nahin hain.. Mein nahin chahti ki.." But before she could complete her sentence, Ranveer had cut in, " Nahin aap aisa mat kehiye. Mein in logo mein nahin hoon jisse paise ka ghamand hain. Paise hi sub kuch nahin hain, mere liye to nahin. Mere liye mayne hain to wo hain mera pura parivaar jisme mein Rano ko shamil karna chahta hoon. Main Rano se bohot pyaar karta hoon, usse apnana chahta hoon. I wish to make her my bride. Usse itni khushi doonga ki dukh naam ki chiz usse chuyegi bhi nahin. Yeh mera vaada hain aapse.

Bani stood rooted to the floor. She had thought so differently of him when she had heard about him from Rano. This man promised to keep her little sister happy and she knew he was the right man for her little sister. She looked towards Rano who had tears endlessly streaming down her cheeks. Seeing her little sister cry, she walked towards her and enveloped her in her arms and wiped her tears away. She knew that both were eagerly waiting for her answer. Bringing Rano to wher Ranveer stood, shereached out for his hand and placed Rano's hands in his, shocking both Ranveer and Rano. "Mujhe yeh rishta manzoor hain" Bani beamed at both of them.

Rano: Di?? Sach? I love you Di I love you! With that she once again hugged her Di tightly.

Ranveer: Mein vaada karta hoon apse, isse bohot khush rakhonga. I promise. Aur haan, Rano yeh tumara phone tum office mein bhool ayi thi. Issi liye mein yaha aya tha. Main ab chalta hoon, mujhe yeh khush khabari apne parivaar to deni hain. Bye Rano, Bye Di. With that he left. Bani signalled to Rano to go with him till his car and gladly went. As they reached the car, Ranveer turned towards Rano who was shyly looking down waiting for him to say something. Taking her hands in his, " Mein jaldi apne parivaar ko lei awunga tumara haath mangne. Tum khush ho na Rano?

Rano: Mein bohot khush hoon, bohot. Tears had once again formed in her soft eyes.

Ranveer, shaking his head: Nahin, ab yeh asoon nahin. Mein tumari in khoobsurat ankhon mein kabhi asoon dekhna nahin chahta. Samji tum? Rano just nodded her head, feeling on top of the world. "Mein chalta hoon ab. Good night Rano. He leaned in and pecked her cheek leaving a blushing Rano who just ran from there.

~ Next day

" Diiiii!!!" Rano screamed at the top of her voice. "Diiiiiii jaldi ayiye!" Bani practically ran dropping whatever she was doing towards her sister's room.

Bani: Kya huwa?!!

Rano who was trying to catch her breath: Di.. Di.. Ranveer Sir ne abhi mujhe sms kiya.. Aur.. Aur wo apne parivaar ke saath yahan aah.. Aah raha hain.
