Beautifully written. I couldn't stop chuckling at JW's secret thoughts of buying an Island. I'm sure he would miss the excitement of his family, friends and dog 😆.

Wonderful portrayal of their love for each other and how the ties that bound them together on that dark night kept their hearts bound for 7 years.

"Finis" - I wish it wasn't...you know what I mean, you want a closure but you want a never ending, romantic gondola ride on placid waters with your magical partner. It was whimsical, magical and truly gripping the entire ride.

I loved this paragraph...

(The rich smell of moist earth mingled with the aroma of fertility that impregnates all green, living things and is the special gift of monsoons. The half moon played peek-a-boo with the black storm clouds that promised a rich outpouring later in the night. And almost shyly the gentle fragrance of frangipani wafted over them.)

there are so many things I like about your writing, one of them is your descriptions of places and people, every thing so detailed and visual! Nothing left to imagination.

You Jai was opinionated, controlling, brooding, dark, sensual, intimidating, loving, caring and romantic --- So many wonderful qualities...and your Bani is so trusting, loving, simple, straightforward, delicate, strong and sensual, a perfect foil for a perfect man.

Words fail to describe the wonder of this fiction. I am glad about every thing that transpired in this chapter, forgive me if I don't restate all the things you wrote, it would be suffice to say that I liked her neverfailing trust in him, her tantalizing dance to drive him out of his mind and finally love resulting in the ultimate...procreation affirming their physical and spiritual love.

I too get irked when people send me emails asking me to update constantly but not even bother to write a line, even if it is just a thank you note! But then, I am thankful for the rest of the folks who are gracious and appreciate your work with a pat on the back, a comment, a suggestion. No wonder the writers are dropping out from the forum (That and the deteriorating KS storyline)

Just wonderful. The reason I opened the forums many times a day was to see if Foreign self Along with my favourite Ffs has been updated. And when I saw none I satisfied myself with re reading the old one. The story, their personalities, the nature and the emotions were really very very nicely portrayed. I don't have that good a vocabulary to explain it. But One thing is sure your idea of quitting is not at all a good decesion. We all love your FFs a lot and we all love you for your efforts to make the story so gripping and interesting. So I will not say GOOD Bye but Will say AU REVOIR (TILL WE MEET AGAIN) in this forum

Armana, I've read every single update of all your FFs and all I have to say that you are a truly gifted and evocative writer. It has been a wonderful journey with you , and the magic of your Jai and Bani. I completely empathise with your disenchantment with the show and understand that since the inspiration is dying, so is the urge to write about these two once wonderful characters.
