Part Three - A
"Can I take her to home, doctor?" asked Jai hopefully to Krishna's doctor.
"Off course you can, Mr. Walia." Smiled the doctor. "Take good care of her, she's weak. Well, where's her mother? I need to talk to her about Krishna's diet."
"her mother..erm..she's busy. You can tell this to me as well."
"Hmm, ok, no problem. See.. Mr Walia.."
Jai listened to the doctor, torn between his emotions. He doesn't know whether to be happy that his daughter is going home after long 8 days or be sad for, well, for his ultimate reason to be sad, Bani.

Mausi greeted the happiness of their house by putting a tikka on Krishna's head. She was cheerful as usual. She's chirping her usual supplies of words.
"Taitee…taitee…ghar.."
"Ha beti, aap ghar wapas a gayi, bilkul tumhare jaise smart hai Jai." Said Mausi happily as she rocked Krishna in her arms.
Krishna was definitely a smart girl. She immediately pressed her tiny finger in Mausi's cheek and said, "missi..missi.."
Jai laughed, "My dear little girl, never throws a chance to imitate her father, hm?" he kissed her tiny hand that made Krishna giggle. "Paapaa..paapaa…" she threw her arms in the air, indicating that she wants to be held by Papa.
"Papa ki chamchi, ja apni papa ke pass hi ja." Said Mausi as she handed Krishna to Jai. Jai couldn't describe how relieved he felt. It took away his breath, when 8 days earlier, Mausi had called him,
Jai, jald se jald ghar aa jao, Krishna ka tabiyaat bohut
kharab he, pata nehi usse kya ho gaya…
All his way back to the home, he's prayed, "god please, don't let this happen, don't let this happen to me."
When he reached home, his daughter was burning with fever. He rushed her to the hospital. Now when she's alright once again, he was relieved. For once, he thought he was going to loose her. Life without Krishna? That's an unbearable thought, but she's only one and a half years old. How did I pass most of my life without this angel? He wondered fondly.
"Waaaak…waaaak…taiteeee…waaaak.."
Jai was taken back from his thoughts when he felt Krishna trying to wriggle out of his lap. Her message was clear, she wants to walk. He put her down and she started moving around his study. He stayed close in case she slips.
In five minutes, his study was messed. She grabbed any papers she found and threw them in the floor. Whenever she found a blank paper, she tore it into pieces. But she never touched a paper which has something written on it. Smart Girl. He mused. Then again, whose daughter she is he thought proudly.
She reached to the desk where Jai and Bani's picture was kept (yes, the famous one, he is black suit and she in pink saree). Krishna observed it for sometime.
"paa..paa." she said happily looking at Jai in the picture. Then she turned to observe Bani. She looked at her for 2 minutes and then she reached for it grabbed it and threw it on the floor, smashing the photo.
