In my opinion if Buddha had married reptile and then realized that Bani is his soulmate, I don't think they would have had a ONS or an EMA, just because being soulmates goes beyond the physical pull. Physical aspect of the relationship comes as abonus.

I really think he would have divorced reptile to be with Bani.

agreed . but U can fall in Love with your soulmate .. Taking Bani the way she is now ..would she have let Jai divorce her ..and remarry her ?

Given the way both their characters have been sketched out, I would agree with Nina in that they would have been too guilt ridden to explore their feelings. It's debateable whether Bani would have "let" him divorce his wife.

This is JB we talking about .Yaar . If Jai and bani discovered they were made for each other Than No for me everything is rite /fair about their relationship ..
Now let me tell you . i despised the conclusion of Kank ..evn though srk and RaniM loved each other .
But what if Pia want after jai's money but somehow jai was attracted to bani ..Then would we still support JB discovering their soulfull relationship sans the physical part .

Absolutely, you fall in love with your soulmates. You are right, Bani is in love wit Buddha and vice versa. The not divorcing part is more to do with the fact that they are soulmates than just in love. You can fall out of love, but you once you are with your soulmate you will never let him go.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the distinction between "infactuation" and "soul-connection?" Infactuation is merely a physical attraction whereas soul connection extends beyond the physical (okay, now I sound like a chinese fortune cookie 😕)

Being with a soulmate does not have to entail being with them in the "physical" sense or even in their viewing vicinity. You can be millions of miles away and still "BE" with your soulmate 24*7 and thats what JB relationship would have entailed had either been married!!!

No matter where and when they each would have resided within each other's souls and been together forever in the spiritual sense and their personalities and characters being what they are they would have found contentment and happiness in that!!!

I think that mere fact would have been unacceptable to thier partners especially if it was Pia or Roshni who was married to Jai and it would have been their spouses who would have divorced them.

If Buddha was married to someone else but ended up gravitating towards Bani (not in a physical sense but as previously defined: in an emotional and spiritual sense), then that's a clear indication that while he may be "married," clearly he doesn't have the same connection with the spouse and clearly there's something lacking. Vice versa with Bani if she was married.

Whether this is right or wrong is subjective.

lets say Bnai wasnt married then ..? and she had grown to Love the Arrogant JW secretly .. looking up to him ... Bani has always loved JW even when she objected to Pia marrying him and confronting jai about it but not realised it .

A thought-provoking post....however it raises a question in my mind. Jai and Bani are soulmates and yet they never felt that connection to each other before marriage and even after they got married it took them a long time to realize that. So if they had been with different people would they ever have had the liberty of spending so much time in close proximity so as to discover each other as soulmates?

😆 I'm no expert on this, but there's no "secret lovin" where "soulmates" are concerned....it's a mutual realization.
