Picnic
Since Ranveer & Raashi hardly know each other, the family decide to go for a Picnic at Jai Walia's farm house in Khandala…Bani remembers her first visit…looks at her husband who is trying his best to concentrate on the road inspite of all the hullagulla going on at the back seat ….aree Bani tumko woh dumb sharar yaad hay na….jab jai tumko 'I love u' bola tha….
Bani : woh mai kaise bhol sakti hu, dadi…
JW feels embarrassed & glares at Bani….
Dadi: Mujhe pahuchne do ekbar farm house…dekhna biloo, me raashi aur ranveer ka tang kaise kichti hu…
JW: Shakes his head….he had absolutely no doubt about that..
The whole family reaches the farm house…Jai looking handsome in his blue jeans & white shirt…Bani looking radiant in pink salwar & sleeveless Kameez…holds bani's hand for a sec & whispers…bani aisa karte hai...wahpas jane a time pe…sirf humduno rehenge gadi pe…
They have a great time at the farm house…with lot of games & fun organized by Rano, Sahil and Anu…….Jai, Aditya & Ranvijay enjoy their drinks, laugh at daadi's antics to put Ranveer & Raashi together and participate in 1 or 2 silly games too….Bani playing obedient bahu to the hilt..serving snacks, organizing lunch …Jai wished he could take bani for a walk around the farm house…have few close moments together….but that not to be…bani…bani mami…bani beta…she has time for everybody but him …Jai sulks….
Ranvijay: Arree Jai your glass is empty…give me your glass…let me pour you another drink……no ranvijay…not anymore…I have to drive back…
Roshni: Don't tell me that now Jai Walia has stopped drinking after 2 pegs....
JW: I did not know Roshni…..you are keeping a count on my drinks…catches Bani… looking at him at last……glaring at Roshni rather…Jai smiles…well she is jealous…catches her eyes…...looks into them….Bani looks away
Roshni: Now now Jai don't tell me that you are afraid of Bani….here is your glass…
Jig: Mere jai bhaiya kisi se nehi darte…..khas karke chhote shaher ke ladkio se to bilkul nehi….waise apne ajkal pina kam kar diya Jai Bhaiya……kya baath hai..
JW: Koi baath nehi…Jigyasa…man nehi karta.....
Bani: Lunch laga diya hai...aap log khana kha lijiye....
Aditya: Ha ha bani chalo chalo mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai...
They have lunch and decide to leave around 1630 hrs….but suddenly the sky darkens…storms brews up…wind becomes strong…..
Dadi: Adhi ko ho jane do…uske bad jayenge wapas…
The group starts pulling leg of each other….while waiting for the storm to pass by which does not seem to stop but only becomes harder…electricity goes off…generator starts….Jai looks at Aditya & Ranvijay….well aditya..I think we should stay back…even if the storm stops there will be too many fallen trees …and driving back in dark will be difficult.
Masi: Thik kaha beta …idhar 3 double bedroom hai…..ladkiya bedroom me rehenge…aur sare ladke idhar hall me so jayenge…
Promptly Anu / Rano & Raashi decide to be in one room….
Roshni : Jigyasa I think I will share one of the rooms with you……Ha roshni…mere room me rehejana…mere pass spare nightie bhi hai…
Masi: Bani beta …aaj tu mere aur biji ke sath so jana, Jai beta tera kamra le lete hai beta kyo ki humdo ki ghutno
JW: ha ha masi yeh koi bolne ki baath hai…
Bani looks at Jai for a sec...well she has to sleep without him then tonight....she was getting used to sleeping in his arms....
The group breaks to organize the arrangements….Bani / Masi goes into the kitchen to help the servants to get the dinner ready….
The house is not a very big one…it is more like a cottage style building with a large hall in the middle. One side of the hall is used as dining room, the middle portion has got sitting arrangements and the other side of the hall narrows into a cosy nook with large bay windows over looking the swimming pool. There is a chaise lounge kept and is the most romantic corner of the room.
Adi is seen busy instructing the servants into sifting the sofa sets bring out bedding from different rooms and simultaneously fighting with Jig for pinching her pillow…well Jigyasa tum to bed per soyegi aur hum jameen par……kamse kam to ek pillow to rehena chahiye…
Jai is standing in a corner with ranvijay looking at the activities…Bani comes with a glass of water and his tablets…wordlessly hands them over to him and goes way…..
Ranvijay who had been watching Jai & Bani the whole day comments: Bani jaida baath nehi karti….
Aditya: Ha lekhin bahut samajdar hai…aur sabka bahut keyal rakti hai
Jai: Aditya .....
Adi: Ha Jai tumare liye mai bay window ke pas chaise lounge ke pichhe bistar laga doonga (other than Bani...Aditya understands Jai the best)
Ranvijay : Kya matlab…utna door kyo Jai…hum nehi katte raat ko….
Roshni who was standing close by ….nehi bhaiya, Jai does not like to share his bed with…..
Ranvijay (laughing) : You mean Bani sleeps in a separate room
Jai (a little pissed off…scarcastically)….no ranvijay…I do not like to share my bed with men...
Though the storm has subsided the rain is still falling…the party is yet to break up as Dadi is still trying to have ranveer hold raashi's hand ..while ranveer sulks, raashi is red as beetroot… Jai starts looking a little irritated, looks at Aditya …aditya shouts o.k. everybody now lets go to bed…we will leave this place by 1030 baje as we still have got to make lot of wedding arrangements ….the girls giggle and go into their room, roshni & Jig to theirs and Masi calls out for Bani and Dadi go into their room…Bani gives one last glance to Jai, slowly gets up and follow them …
Bani : Masi / Dadi aaplok sow jayiye, mai thoda bathroom se aati hoo.
Dadi: Ha beta…so na to parega..idhar na hai TV na DVD…ayoo biloo..
Bani goes into the bathroom…slowly takes out her glass bangles, washes her face, hangs her dupatta on the hanger, brushes her teeth…..then slowly peeps out of the bathroom door into the darkened room to find masi & dadi already asleep….tiptoes to the hall…it is dark, people are already asleep but she looks towards the bay window…there he is with his back turned looking out of the window…she silently walks upto him and stands behind him..
Jai senses her..no need to turn back..her scent fills his senses…so she has come…he guessed right…
Jai without looking behind whispers…aa gayi tum…avi yaad aya mera..he puts is hand behind him and pulls her in his arms….she hides her face into his chest into the opening of his shirt, hugs him tight…sabka kheyal rakti ho bagayer mera..she does not reply kisses him on his chest…he savours it…she fills his heart, there are so many things he would like to tell her but being a man of few words, he is at a loss for words, but he knows that she reads him like a book…runs his fingers through her hair…tired …he asks…hmmm aap whiskey pi rahe the…..kya karo tumhara intezar kar raha tha….subah vodka ..abhi whiskey…she sulks….gussa mat karo..aajkaal me bahut kam pita hu…he replies…she yawns….he holds her tightly…needh aa rahi hai…..ha Mr Walia…itna jaldi jana hai to aayi kyo...he sulks….dadi bahut kharate marti hai…bani whispers a little hesitantly..udhar nehi so payongi…..to mere saath so jao……kaise soyu koi dekh lega….koi nehi dekhe ga…sofa ke pichhe..aur tum..subah 4 baje utke masi ke pass chale jana…..they lie down..Jai still hugs Bani and covers themselves with the comforter…Jai moves his hand under her kameez and starts caressing her…kya kar rahe hai aap…hmm sari pehenti to achha rehta….she bites his earlobe..he gives a low laugh then holds her head and kisses her lips hard…..
Roshni & Jig…are chatting in low voices…
Roshni : Jigyasa do you think that Jai likes Bani…he no longer gets angry with her nowadays…………
Jig: Roshni you know better, Jai bhaiya's shaadi ek jhoot hai, Bani is not Jai bhaiya's type…she is too gawar…lekin agar tum kuch nehi karogi to…
Roshni: I got busy with my new project and had to go on tour a lot…I could not give time…I did try to drug his drink…and you know what happened
Jig: Koi aur rasta dhundo, tumhare liye kya mushkil hai Roshni, ek jamane me to tum Jai Bhaiya ka srif girlfriend hi nehi the, but something more, humlog ka to shakh tha ki tum dono ka shaadi ke pehle bachche na ho jay…you know his likes & dislikes….
Roshni: Lekin Jai aajkal meri sunta kaha hai.....yeh relationship mujhe samaj me hi nehi ata.....Jai aur Bani ek dosre jada baath bhi nehi karte…pass pass nehi baite…bani seems to be more free with Aditya…
Jig: Baath karne ke liye rakha kya hai, their world are so different from each other aur Aditya ke saath sabhi free hai….
Roshni: Lekin us din maine Bani ko Jai ko hug karte huwe dekh
Jig (now really pissed off): ha tumne bataya, kyon nehi karegi..uska bahen ka jo future ban gaya..mere sahil ko phasa ke...aaj dekha...bhaiya ne ek bhi baath nehi kiya usse...pura din ..on second thoughts roshni...all said & done...bhaiya is after all a hot blooded man...agar tumne kuch nehi kiya to....ghee...aur aag...you know better
Jig goes off to sleep…roshni then slowly gets up tiptoes towards the hall…let me see what Jai is doing…since the rain has stopped let me take him to the poolside …hmmm
..she tiptoes to Jai, she is confident once she traps him, she will get the old magic back, Jai though had series of girl friends, was an one woman man, he never cheated…always broke clear of his previous relationship to start a new one…though temptations were great…and if this relationship has not taken off or is just a show for masi's sake…then she has a very good chance.
Jai is lying on his side facing the window and she was about to shake his shoulder when a lightening flashed…Roshni sees a head just below Jai's chin, hidden in his chest…..just then the head shifts a little to show Roshni bani's sleeping profile in low moon light which was coming out through the clouds…
Roshni is shocked and rushes back to her room…shakes Jig awake..
Jig : Kya hai Roshni…
Roshni: Chalo mere saath…in the light of her cell phone roshni shows Jig what she had seen a little earlier.
Jig back into the room :..yeh to bada smart nikli, kitni besharam ladki hai…sabke samne apne pati ke sath soti hai….aur roshni…tumko kitna chance diya maine apne ghar me rakha to bhi tum kuch nehi kar payee
Roshni with mean eyes…Ghabrao nehi Jigaysa…agar Jai mera huwa nehi to Bani ka bhi nehi rahega…
Bani ka ho chuka aur tum dekte reh gayi…
Roshni: Kitna din key liye Jigaysa…shadiya ho jaane do….
