Vaidehi: My god, Jai after such a long time…is na chij to kaise yaad kiya…
JW: Kyo mai tu tumko hamesha phone karta hu
Vaidehi: Ha meri birthday pe hamesha phone karte ho, phul bhi bhejte ho lekin aaj meri b'day nehi hai….
JW: Actually Bani aur mai tumse milna chahata hu…can we come now.
Vaidehi: How can I say no to the great Jai Walia….please come over, I am free for the next 2 hours or so…………

Vaidehi sees a beautiful couple standing at the door of her chamber…the man handsome and formidable, the wife innocent & beautiful and both are totally in love with each other…
Vaidehi comes and hugs Jai…after a long time Jai….
JW: Bani this is Vaidehi we used to be in school together.
Vaidehi: Now I know why you got married all of a sudden, Jai ..early bird catches the worm…right….sorry Bani missed your wedding was in states attending a very important conference, stayed back to attend a course and came back a month ago otherwise I would not have missed the wedding of the year you see at any cost….then …..staring at Bani's face….You know Jai …she reminds me of someone…I just cannot place….

Jai gives a quick briefing on Bani's family and how they came under his shelter

JW: takes out the paper and hands it over to vaidehi and says 'As promised, Vaidehi'…
Dr Vaidehi Kothari is one of the leading gynecologist in Mumbai, attached to the Beach Candy Hospital….takes out the paper & reads the report.
Vaidehi: So you have Jai, Congratulations to both of you…kisses Jai and Bani…..looks at Bani…you see Bani…when I was doing my specialization, Jai promised me that if he ever became a father, he will bring his wife to me…
Vaidehi very quickly checks Bani's BP, her weight …..when did you have your lunch Jai…
Jai: Well Bani & I just left for here after our lunch….
Vaidehi: Well that's about an hour back…you see I need to do a blood test of you both…Bani I think is a little anemic….for that I will give her some iron tablets…

Attendant: You need anything Doc…
Vaidehi: Oh raju…yeah …ek kaam karo tum…ek registration form le ao…aur is sahab ko de do…
Raju goes and brings a registration form and hands it over to JW:
JW quickly goes through the same and brings out is Mont Blanc pen to fill in the form…after filling up hands it over to Vaidehi who quickly looks into it…
Vaidehi: Well, Bani maine tumhare liye kuch tablets likhi hai..which you take as per the instructions in the prescription and Jai tum aur Bani yeh blood tests karwa lena kyoki aajkaal parents blood test is mandatory aur report mujhe bejwa dena.
JW: Kaal subah kar lenge aur kuch..
Vaidehi: Yeah the most important baath…Bani tum thoda anemic ho, so eat lot of vegetables with iron…you might feel a little nausea but please for heaven sake do not stop eating…even if you vomit…please eat…Jai tum Bani a pora kheyal rakhna…she should not carry anything heavy, eat well, if she is going to office, she should maintain regular hours, no stress strain and last but not the least…Jai..well..hmm…do not be very naughty with Bani now……she should have her sleep in the night…
Bani blushes, Jai trying to hide his blush, then we should do it now during the day, Vaidehi!!
Vaidehi gives jai a mean look raises her hand…
OK OK Vaid…just joking….don't worry, I will be very careful and take care of Bani ………..
Vaidehi…looks into her calendar and marks a date…well Jai & Bani your next appointment is exactly a month from today…you will come and meet be this time as I am normally a little free around this time…I will be doing an ultra sound then and you can see your baby then…
Jai & Bani look elated…as they are about to leave…Bani calls Mr Walia in a soft voice…
JW: Ha Bani bolo….
Bani: Looks at Vaidehi, who is staring at them with interest….
Bani: Aap kuch bhul rahe hai…
JW: Kya
Bani: Inke fees….she says very quietly…
JW (Laughs aloud) and stares at amused vaidehi…dekho Bani…Vaidehi is my dear friend and she will not accept fees as far as the hospital charges are concerned…they will send the bill to office and it will get paid...don't worry
Bani: Mr Walia….mai manti hu apki baath…lekin Vaidehi ek professional hai aur humne unka services li hai…aur sabse badi baath aap afford kar sakte hai…sabke pass yeh shamta nehi hota hai…Vaidehi ji, aap unse mat lijiye jo afford nehi kar sakte…, aapko agar Mr Walia se fees lene me takleef ho to aap yeh fees apke pasand ki charity me de dijiye ga…isse hume khushi hogi aur hamare bachche ko ashirwaad milega…aur Mr Walia…hospital ke bill bhi aap denge, company nehi, aap baap banne wale hai, company nehi…
Vaidehi looks into Bani's eyes…she sees a pair of no nonsense eyes which stares back at her….she appreciates bani point of view…she is young but very matured she muses…perfect for Jai… looks at Jai Walia who has taken out his purse already and waiting for Vaidehi to say something…
Vaidehi…picks up the intercom calls the cash office and instructs them accordingly…
JW: Vaidehi we appreciate your understanding and once Bani has said something, she will make me do it anyway...
Vaidehi: Even though a little late Jai, you have met your match...
