Part 19

Masi met up with Simran's dad and found out a lot about what Simran hid from them. Masi was more convinced that she would be the best match for her potah. Mr Bhatiya and Masi made arrangements to do the chekni and engagement following Sunday followed by a wedding in the next month.

It was Tuesday afternoon when Masi decided to approach Jai about it.

Masi: beta maine thumare liye ek ladki dheki hai
Jai loosing interest in the paper and looked at her…..kya??
Masi: ladki…. shadi …..thumari promise to Jaanvi

Jaanvi walked in from Ananya's house..they had gone bridal hunting upon insistence on Anaya's part.

Janvi: hi bro…..Masi…after a long time Jaanvi was her chirpy self…..

Masi: kitni khush lagrahi hai na Jai….
Jaanvi blushing…masi aapbhi ….kya baath ho raha hai

Masi: hum Saturday ko Jai bhaia ke liye ladki dhekne jarahe hai
Jaanvi: wow…great….wahi ladki hai Masi
Masi: bilkul..

Jai looking at them..: kaun ladki hai
Masi: beta itni jaldi kya hai…khud dhek lena….mil lena baateh karlena

Jaanvi happily running to her bedroom..bhaia is getting married…but that wasn't just the only reason she was glowling….she was remembering her date with her fianc on Sunday night

Raj had taken Simran to his farm house the exact place where they had( u know what)…Jaanvi blushing all over again….as soon as Raj had parked the car Jaavni had looked at him giving him an evil look….

Raj: before u decide to kill me….undar toh chalo…
Jaan: nahi meh nahi janewali
Raj: oh common Jaanu….making Jaan blush like hell it sounded so different coming from his mouth……
Jaan: meh abhi tak woh din nahi bhuli hu Mr Rajvir Khanna ke tum mujhe phir yaad dilana chate ho……u don't know how I have lived the past months…
Raj: oh trust me baby I know…leaning towards her…don't u think I think of that night too…looking into her eyes…..

Jaanvi not able to take it in anymore got out of the car…

RAj: thought so …………..getting out himself…..

Making their way in the house…as Jaanvi entered the house she found roses on the floor leading to the dining area…..she was amazed….leading to the table was a bouquet almost her size…in it was a huge card……RAj leaning on the door frame looking at her……Jaanvi taking the card looking around…the whole room was dark except for where she was standing….the table had candles lit in the middle with a single rose in a long stem in the thin glass vase…it said something…..going to it she took the rose and read the single leaf in it…."read the card" love you Raj…

Jaan touched the love you……almost not believing it…too scared to look at the door…with shaky hands overwhelmed with what she saw…..she opened the card and

and at the bottom was written…"im sorry" but "I love you" "will you….marry me"

Jaanvi couldn't control her emotions and started to cry…….sobbing…and crying….turning she ran into Raj's arms….

Raj: shhhsshh why are you crying..its okay if u don't love me…I understand….but please say u will marry me…I will make up to you I promise…I will do everything it takes to it right this time….hugging her close to him…." I really do love you Jaanvi Walia" I had never imagined I would fall this deep in love…but I have…aaj jab tum chalkar steps ke niche arahi thi than I knew …that you wre the one……

Jaanvi felt so good in his arms…not saying anything …his voice the sound of him….soothing her tensed body…soothing her senses…..soothing her mind….her soul….she didn't know if she loved him but ….one thing was for sure……she could imagine spending the rest of her life with him……

Raj just held her…it felt so good…for the first time a hug was enough for him…he didn't need the physical pleasure to fulfil his male needs…..with this woman he can have everything…

Jaanvi remembering that night smiled…oh how they had a quite dinner…Raj mostly looking at her…and how she would shyly smile or look at him….how he was a perfect gentleman and didn't even try to kiss her……saying good night to her kissing on her forehead and leaving her at the door. It was perfect…why didn't I see all this in the beginning…she was sure to fall in love with this guy sometime soon…or was she already….

Udhar Mr Bhatiya decided to approach Simran on Friday night….the less time she has to think the less she will react…he knew his daughter too well to think what she was capable of

At dinner table

Sim: papa nana ji aab agle hafte jayege
MR B: yes beta
Sim: oh cool..par kiu..unhe toh kaal jana tha
Mr B: kaal hamare ghar kuch khaas log ayege isiliye…
Sim: log …kaun log…kya meh unko janti hu
MR B: yes beta very well….the Walia family
Simran's sister Neha was getting excited and so was the step mom
Sim's face dropped at the name….: kiu??
Mr B: rhista ke liye……

Sim looked at Neha with disgust…so isi shadi kar rahe hai..itna bada badla..kiu Jai Walia: rhista…aur hamare ghar

Mr B: ha beta…woh log ko tum bhouth pasand ho isiliye jaishiv ka rhista thumare liye aya hai…aur maine ha kardi hai…..

Sim: mujse bine poo..as she stopped…kya mere saath woh shadi karna chate hai…a glint of happiness in her heart

Mr B: ha beta……sims step mum and sisters face was something to look at but one look from Mr B and they didn't bother…mujhe Jai bhouth hi pasand and I think tum aur woh are a good match….woh log bhi aisa hi sochte hai…

Sim: bubbles blowing inside of her…..oh papa…really…wow..i cant imagine……she was so happy…magar Mr Walia ne toh…smacking her head…mr Walia nahi Jai…Jai neh kuch nahi kaha mujse

Mr: sabhi log kaal 3pm taiyar rahe……

Jai didn't feel too good..he wanted to tell Masi about Simran but nothing could be done as he didn't really know anything anymore…..dhekte masi ne kisi chuna hai

Jai had never been to the Bhatiya residence and was mightly impressed by the house…it was like the Walia mantion but more traditional touch to it……as he looked at a row of pictures on the wal…he saw a pic of what looked like Simran…but it was of a ladies painting some 20 years back…couldn't be…im seeing things….

As Sim step mom broght sim down …..she was wearing a yellow kameez with a orangish dupatta….Jaanvi ran up the stairs to bring her down with her….. much to the step moms dismay…..neha her step sister wasn't home as she didn't think it important…..

Jaanvi: bhaia hamari Bhabi kaisi lagi???

Jai looked up to find …oh My god….Simran…getting up almost colliding wit the coffee table…..
