Part 17 😉
Monday morning Jai and Raj had a very early meeting with the models to confirm on advertising shoots that were to be done in the States…they had chosen an offshore site as it appealed to the media across the world rather than only in India…and for them this campaign was really important
Raj had given sometime off to Simran as she had delegated some tasks to her operations team and nothing major was due …plus she needed that rest…she wasn't feeling too good…
Masi and the girls with Aakash were to leave later in the day for the trip home.
Almost 2 weeks had gone by and both the guys were busy with the work that days sometimes nights were spent In the office…..
Idhar Masi pareshan thi ki Jai kahi apne father jaise na kaam meh ulaj jaye that he doesn't settle aur udhar Raj ke parents had to leave for Delhi in two weeks and they wanted their son to settled before he turned 30……
Late Friday night the boys hit home around 3am and straight to bed….

Mr K: Raj beta humne thumare liye ek ladki dheki hai
Raj: had just got up ….after such heck 2 weeks he finally could relax now….sipping his hot brewed coffee…felt good…….spitting his coffess on his sandwich
Mr K: kya hua????
Raj: pops shadi and me……common
Akash: bro u have to sometime right…..The family had already discussed this with Akash and he was all for ti …..bhaia ke baadth uski pari
Mr K: Raj u have done whatever u wanted in ur life uptil today and I nor the family have ever requested u anything but beta now we want to see u settled and hame bhi apne pota aur poti se khelna hai
Raj: pops but…..Aakash bhi karsakta hai…uske toh ladki bhi pasand hai
Akash: hitting his feat under the table at Raj…: bro bada bhai tab mera number what say pops??
Mr K: yes Kash is right….beta we will be gone in a week or two…Akash will take up the business too than what…u cant live on magazines and the woman that appear with u for life…..i don't want to hear anything……hum kaal duper ko ladki ke ghar jarahe hai?? That's it…be ready…..
Raj looking at everyone: par pops
MR K: do u have any girl in mind …is that why u are opposing??
Raj: in this mind thought of Jaanvi…but he knew that she didn't feel the same and he didn't even know what he really felt just stared and shook his head: I will be ready pops!!!
Mr K: good …thumari ma aur dadi will do all the preparations aur agar tumhe ladki pasadn hogi toh sagai bhi wahi…

Masi: Jaishiv beta tumse ek baath karni thi
Jai: had just come down really tired but feeling good after 2 weeks as he finally caught up on some sleep……
Masi: beta mere kheyal meh ek ladka hai….jaanvi ke liye….aur maine uske dadi se bhi baath ki hai….woh long ko bhi hamari jaanvi bhouth hi pasand hai…..woh usko kaal dhekne ana chate hai
Jai: par dadi Jaanvi toh itni choti hai
Masi; ha magar uski ma bhi uske umar meh hi shadi ki thi…aur phir this family is very modern …agar Jaanvi apne parai baadth meh complete karna chahe toh inko koi aetraaz nahi…..
JaI: magar my little sis ..i will get so alone…aur woh mane taabhi nah
Masi: beta is umar meh nahi hi Jaanvi ki koi boyfriend hai aur na hi koi ladke ke saath lafta…itni modern society meh hamari bachi ne ghar ka kheyal ki hai…do u want that to go away before some stupid ladka goes after her….
Jai: yeah masi u are right…magar usko manaye kaun
Masi: isiliye tumhe kehrahi hu…woh tumhari baath nahi dalegi
Jai: ladka kaun hai??
Masi: smiling u know him very well…hamara RAjvir Khanna…
Jai: Raj..smiling…..
Masi: ha…kaisa hai
Jai; bhouth hi acha….i don't think Jaanvi ko koi aur acha ladka milega….plus achi khadan bhi hai…magai Jaanu ko toh businessman nahi chahiye tha…smiling now…..
Masi: magar beta ladka toh acha hai nah…tu mana le jaanvi ko meh kal ki taiyari karti hu…agar saab theek hua toh sagai bhi kaal kardege…
Jai: sadly thinking of his parents…they would have wanted this too….ha masi I will talk to her….
Masi: uske baadth teri bari??
Jai: meh masi..mujhe koi shadi wadi nahi karni …business meh
Masi: Jai meh kehdeti hu…business ki baath ki toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga…thumare dad ne bhi keh keh kar 40 par shadi ki….i don't want that for you….tere liye bhi ek rhista dhoond rahi hu….agar tujhe koi pasand hai toh keh….
Jai: thinking of how he wanted to marry Simran…but she had hidden the truth frm him…nahi masi…koi bhi nahi…sadly he left to talk to Jaanvi
Jaaniv was in her room….she had jus woken up and came out showered…in her robe she was looking at her parents photo (the same photo masi had forced them to take)
Jai: mrng jaanu??
Jaanvi: smiling and putting the picture …mrng bro
Jai: u okay…looking at the photo …
Jaan: oh yeah..but missing mummy and papa…..
Jai: yeah I know…tumse ek baath karni thi….sitting by her side and holding her shoulders…
Jaan: yeah….foldign her legs….
Jai; tumhe koi ladka pasand hai
Jaan: swallowing hard…jee bhaia??
Jai: do u fancy any guy or have a boy friend I dotn know about ..??
Jaan: no bro ofcoz not…hiding her face looking down….scared that jai might see….why do u ask??
Jai: are you sure
Jaan: yes bhaia thinking of Raj al this time….
Jai: good than …toh tum meri baath nahi talogi??
Jaan: looking up…kaisi baath
Jai: ek ladka hai…mera acha dost hai aur business ke world meh very known……
Jaan: looking up tyring to listen…..and
Jai: and…he comes from a very good family….

Jaan: bhaia no….turning white no..i will not marry..and not to a businessman anyway….Jaanvi just didn't want to marry
Jai: tumne meri kabhi koi baath nahi tali…wont u even look at the guy and meet his family
Jaan: almost on the verge of cryng……but bro i
Jai: for me mummy and papa…..u can always conitunue with whatever u want to do in life….they are very modern in the way they think and bubba frankly I don't think there is another guy as good as out there…
Jaanvi was lost..she didn't know what to say…hw do I tell bhaia of all that has happened…meh kisi aur se…kaise??....
Jai: ladke ko dhek toh lo…mil toh lo???
Jai lookin at Jaanvi and jaanu started to cry…
Jai: I know sis but ek din toh jana hai tumko right??
Jaan huggin her brother crying like a baby: do I have to bhaia..cant I stay here forever with you
Jai: no sis mummy aur papa bhi yahi chate agar hote hamare saath
Both ended up crying sharing a emotional embrace
JAanvi: wiping her tears….bhaia u have to promise me something

Jaanvi: anything for me??
Jai: keh kar toh dheko??
Jaavi: agar maine is rhiste ko ha kehdi toh meri shadi she phele aap bhi sagai karenge
Jai: meh …but Jaanu
Jaan: no bhai u promised me…when I go I want a Bhabi in this house aswel…
Jai: theek hai…agar koi achi ladki milti hai toh yes I will now happy….Jai just said that to keep his sister happy..t.here was no way he would give in….
But Jai dear u don't know what Dadi has in plans for you??
Simran didn't recover from her hearh ache and her illness almost 2 weeks later…in the meantime she was at home and for the first time her dad had taken time off work to spend time with her daughter…..Mr Bhatiya too wanted to see his daughter settled…even though his wife insisted on Jaishiv Walia for Neha he somewhat saw jai fit for his Simran….they looked really nice dancing at his sisters party…maybe he will talk to Jai himself regarding this Next Monday.
Sim didn't go to walk for the two whole weeks…everyday she would receive a bouquet wishing her on fast recovery and somedays as she felt better she would also receive chocolates with the flowers…..that made her day…there wasn't any senders name just two dots…..she figured its from her staff at the office…..as the team needed her….It was on Saturday after 2 whole weeks that she finally felt like her normal self…..things with dad had been so good the past 2 weeks that she didn't want to spoil it…he would have breakfast and dinner with her in the room..and would keep her company while she was sick…it was a very emotional time for her…..and the best thing about it all was her nana was at home too…in their house….dad had brought him at the house when he had come to see Simran as she became sick……
Masi called Simran that evening to let her know that there were some guy coming to see Jaanvi tomrw afternoon and they needed her to help with things…..even though simran dreaded seeing Jai she knew that she had to be there for her little sis….
Sim: aap chinta maath kariye…meh aaj sham ko aougi dadi…aur hum saath shopping jayege aur phir kaal hamari honewali dhulan ko khoob sajaye ge….
