Which begs the question, and perhaps I am asking a question that's already been answered -- but WHY exactly would Jai want to make Bani dearest jealous!? Afterall that she's done to make him hater her (silly girl), and after all he's said in anger and has believed to be true... why, oh why? would he now, have a brainwave to think that he LOVES Bani, needs to win her back and that to, use HER sister to do it!? Or would it just be him being cruel -- and using the one person she loves more than anything else -- a sister!? That would be the cruelest blow.... and the most despicable thing JW could do. If he did it out of caring, its sorry enough of an excuse as I said - -but if he does it in cold blood.... its unforgiveable!

Soapaddict,I don't feel he wants to win her back, rather he wants her to hurt just like he is hurting. Cold-blooded alright. I doubt he even knows why bani is doing all this. Though he will later.

Yes, Soap if he's just doing this to hurt her b'cos he's hurting, then I guess the greatness of JW's character will be marred for ever.

He is reverting to his meaner than ever avatar when pia walked out on the marriage, so could you really describe it as marring his character? I WONDER?

Hey apart from mouthing his fave invective (very uncreative there 😉) , he has,nt yet displayed any attitude callous or worse .And so taking into consideration all of the the above arguments, JnP alliance makes sense only if our man starts gravitating (unromantic) towards P bcoz she would be conveniently available to drive home to B (like the bangle scene)his deep resentment over her behaviour .

I've been thinking about this... ahem.. a little and I think it no longer makes any sense for Jai to make Bani jealous. Too much has happened.
If he has anything to do with Pia at all, I THINK, it will be to make Bani realise that Pia is not what she imagines she is. If it were upto me.. Bani would in some way put her sisters above Jai - even more than she's doing at the moment - that she will choose them for her real family, and reject Jai even more comprehensively than she has done so far - perhaps even genuinely as against her 'naatak'.
I think Jai will play up to Pia NOT for consolation, NOT to make Bani jealous but expose once and for all, who is on Bani's side and who isn't, whose loyalties she does have and who's only pretending to be loyal. I imagine that Jai who has noticed which way Pia is inclined will do this both to show Bani Pia's true colours as well as to protect her from her sister.
