Bani looked at the phone and was furious….eww such arrogance…cant even speak….and something hit the core of her heart…kahi Jai toh nahi….he can be what Sim described to be…..she ignored that thought…no woh kui call karega…must have been somebody else….

Bani began working on the presentation….

3 weeks later……Jai has dediced to go with Dreams Ltd and got rid of Ambition…..obivous reason to get Bani…he is flying into mauritaus to meet with Mr Mithal on a personal note….akhir yeh Bani ke hai kaun…aur Bani Maritaus kaise pouchi…….

Nothing mattered he wanted his wife back into his life…..no matter what!!!!!

Mr Mithal was delighted to see Mr Walia personally……Jai had made plans to meet him first thing the next day…they meet in Mr Mithals office…..Jai decides that this project is a 100% funded by Walia….that he will personally deal with the project leader and will be acquainted with him in all dealings…..later to be adviced by Mr Mithal that its not a he but a she (as if Jai didn't know that) and that she is the best in the area……..Jai also mentioned to stay in Mauritaus till all campaigns are done and deal is finalized and project starts……Mithal is delighted……

Jai: thanks Mr Mithal….i really appreciate your time and generousity to do things my way

Mithal: what more can a old man ask Mr Walia….

Jai: please sir call me Jai….aap mujshe bade hai

Mithal: very well Jai….lets go meet our creative head….mind u she is a bit hot head so u don't want to argue with her…laughs…

Jai: I bet…

Mithal give him a look…laughs…. (the Mtihal guys is like Anupum Kher with a big belly) pats his back and takes him to meet Bani…..Bani doesn't know what is going to hit her today………………

Bani has been having a rough 2 days…past 3 weeks she has been working on this proposal for her so called husbands project to be later told there is no need for a presentation…she was left in a loop and she didn't like it….she was furious……and on top of things….Jashiv was so ill the past few days….his fever tends to fluctuate and the doctors need to wait for atleast a day before the lab results come out….she was sick with worry as to how her son was….plus her stomach was aching…she was about to get her mensus too…..she didn't want nobody to mess with her today….least of anything to do with the proposal…..

Bani was tyring to take out some files from the cabinet that wont open…she pulls pulls and pulls and finally it came out fluging all the file over the floor and hitting her hand….

Bani: dammit…ouch…shit yeh files…oh hell aaj hi hona tha….dammit aab meh yeh khoju kaise…Mr Patel ki copy kaha hai….she was bend over the floor not hearing the door knock…..

Mr Mithal was always cormfortable around Bani opens the door and comes into the office….remembering the proposal file…he said Jai u go along I will just go grab the file and come…

Jai: okay (sure I don't mind….i have waited the last 2 years for this moment…)

For the first time Jai was so nervous …this is not the teenage girl he had met 4 years ago…this is the woman he loves and cannot live without….gosh man..he ran his hands thru his hair and the other in front pocket grabbing his handkerchief….i was not this nervious in my first business proposals…dammit why does this happen to him……well he had to make the first move…she had left him and he had to make things right between them….for HIM…he needed her…

He pushed the door and went in…slowly…lingering….he put on a different cologne today…he knows that most of what he had was Bani's choice and he put on something that is mild but she never liked it that much……he was hoping to catch her off guard….

As he took 2 steps in…he noticed that the office was big…more like a small apartment…..it had the couch for the sitting area...a bathroom and in the corner with huge glass windows was a huge desk…..the other side huge file cabinets…….Bani wasn't around…than he noticed a movement on the other side of her desk…he notiched her on her knees deep into files…..not just once…but so many…all over the floor…..she looked so delicate and frail….hair had grown longer…she was in pants and top….and something else…….he needed to walk closer…..Bani's hands were on the floor when he approached her….

Bani was furious….she was trying to find this one piece of paper and was having no luck…she was on her knees and her stomach hurt….she felt this smell….a smell she didn't like…but ignored it…he mensus usually made her faint…she probably is imagining things….she thought she heard the door…but than again she didn't have time…she needed this before end of day….ufff she thought rubbing her nose……when suddenly she felt a figure loom over her……..a familiar tingy feeling crossed her back and for a sec Bani thought that……..no it cant be only Mithal shaab walks in like in her office

Bani: sees two pairs of shoes…..oh sir meh toh baas yeh report khoj ……..Bani looks up to meet intense pair of eyes that were boring deep into her soul….she was speechless…she stood up trying to balance herself with all the files and it all flew down again….but Bani didn't seem to notice it….time had stopped…..suddenly the room was too small…and her head was spinning…..she didn't know what to do…the only thing she could hear was her hearth…boom bOOM BOOM ….she was sure he had it too….…JAI!!! AUR YAHA!!!!

Jai had the urge to throw her in his arms and just feel her …hold her….smell her…..touch her….but knowing that that's the last thing she wanted he kept both his hands in his pockets……aaah he thought now I notice the difference…she has picked some weight….not too much..but her burst and her backside..the are weee bit bigger…hmmmmm he thought…none the less she was still his BAni…..

Both were speechless….BAni reflection of that day came and Jai could see confusion than hurt and than pain cross her face….Bani could see that Jai was starring at her with this look…was it longing…or misery or pain or hurt…she couldn't make out…..why would he miss her she thought…she has been reading in the magazines about him and Roshni and their business ventures…he must have not missed her…..he was occupied elsewhere to think of her…..he was here for business I guess…afterall that's more his wife…………

However, Jai was more cool and composed than to what Bani was feeling….she was all nerves…she wasn't like that even during the first time Jai touched her in the most intimate way….she could feel his gaze assessing every inch of her…dammit she thought why does he do that to me…..

Just than Mithal sahib walks in….aaah…I see u two have met….Bani not to worry putar…this is Mr Jai Walia…the man himself from Walia Industries….he will be situated with you the next few months to work on the Walia Retrieve Project. He will be staying in maritaus all this time…

Bani to herself…great ….before he haunted her in her dreams now he will do it in reality…great what I just needed….

Mr Walia…sorry Jai ….thi is the superwoman I was talking about…

Jai: Bani…puts his hands forward…..

Bani: Hello J…Mr Walia….puts her hands forward for a shake…almost calling her Jai..…..but instead he holds it and takes it to his lips and kisses it ever so gently….his eyes never leaving her eyes for even a second…….Bani could have melted at that look and touch….Oh God he still does it to me….

Bani: aahahmmm….Mr Walia….she quickly pulls her hand

Mithal noticed this …he had never seen Bani so jumpy….maybe because Jashiv is sick that's why……

Mithal: areh Bani…how is Jashiv feeling now….

Bani scared that why did Mr Mitahl have to ask about him now…scared that Jai might find out…..

Bani: his still sick…with concern and care in her voice…..the doctors reports will come tomrw…..

Jai raise his eyebrows…who is Jashiv…Bani has another man in her life….i willl any man ur way Bani…giving he killer looks…..Bani noticed this…

Mtihal: he will get thru with this …..afterall he has ur attention day and night and not to forget ur love…..

Chee thanks Mr Mithal ….Bani thought…afraid to look at Jai …what if he guessed it….but Jai was thinking of another man…..im going to kill any man bAni…I mean it.!!!

With that Jai in his authoritative voice…

Jai: what are you doing tonight for dinner Bani

BAni: im busy
Jai: u are bound to eat dinner aren't u

Bani: yes but..Mrs J….

Jai: great I wil pick u up at 7 and we can discuss this project u have so diligently working on over dinner…..with that he looked at Mr Mithal and asked for his support…what say Mr Mitahl…sounds good for starters…

Mithal: sure sure…im sure that way u two can get to know each other better….makes it easier in working together…..

With that the two man left….

A stunned Bani was left starring at his arrogant back….that that…maniac man…ufff such arrogance…meh nahi ja rahi dinner winner par…phew…waha mera bahca bemar hai aur yaha isko dinar ki padi hai

At shart 6.59pm…..Bani's door knocks.........Mrs John answers….

Mrs John: open the door..stunned…this man was a grown Jashiv standing infront of her….Dear Lordd she said…

Jai: BAni

Mrss JOhson kept starring

Jai: aaahaammm….hello

Mrs John: oh …getting herself together ….hello?? can I help u

Jai: I am here to meet Bani

Mrs John: oh but she is not at home

Jai: what…really mad….did she mention where she is

Mrs John: oh no sir…but Jashiv feeling no good all day so she go out with him

Jai was so furious….Jashiv…who is this man….uffff….he was so mad…..

Jai: thanks….Mrs??????

Mrs John: Mrs Johnson

Jai: aah Mrs Johnson…maybe I got the date wrong ….i will talk to her later…..

Bani just got her car into the street when she notiched another leaving her house….she didn't have to think twice who it was…

As she entered the house…..Mrs John started blabbering

I swear senorita…it look like babba…I saw him and he look like babaa…I shock ..i do not knw what to do…I look and I stare..but he look just like babba….was he babba father….

With a teary eye Bani looked at her and said yes…!!! Mrs John knew she didn't have to aks no further she knew everything about BAni and her past…..

Bani put Jashiv to sleep and went to get some for herself too…she was worried about his results tomrw….....hey bhagwan mere bache ka kheyal rakhan...his all i have...!!!

Bani put Jashiv to sleep and wen to get for herself too…she was worried about his results tomrw….

Next morning at six…the door bell rings….ding dong …ding dong…it was the Saturday and Mrs John must have gone out for her mrng walks…again the door bell rings...ding dong...ding dong....

Bani: is waqt kaun hai saturday ko

Bani was so tired and her head was thumping…she didn't get any sleep last night till early mrng…..and now this to wake her up…evn Jashiv was being a good boy and sleeping quietly….before he wakes up…she better go get the door…

Bani walks down the stairs in her pyjamas….early mrngs are pretty cold so she had her warm pyjamas nad fluffy warm shoes…her eyes told she didn't sleep well…she opened the door

Jai: Good Mornign…a very hyper Jai in his jogging clothes was at her door steps…with nice warm doughnuts in his hands…..

Bani: tum yaha kya kar rahe ho

Jai: apne pati ko aise welcome karte hai….hmmm long night huh…didn't get much sleep looks like…..he was scarcastic implying somthing else to her...

Bani: none of ur damn business….go away….with that she was about to slam the door on his face when he held It and walked in…..

Jai; now now all I want is an innocent cup of coffe….is that too much to ask of my wife…

Bani: shh dhere baath karo….Jashiv will get up…

Jai: his here …in ur house...he was shocked...Bani aisi kaise ho sakti hai....

Bani: no his here in his house..and is sleeping…and I would very much mind if he woke up as he is sick….

Jai was so mad…how dare she…keep the man in her house….in her bed…how dare she...he decided not to leave now…he had to ssee who it was…

Bani sensing he wont go away made fresh coffee and handed it to him…hoping Jashiv wont get up...please bhagwan

Jai: aaahh lovely…..after a long time I had some decent coffee….this was one thing u made pretty good…..

Just than Mrs John walked in…..Good MOrnign seno......….she was stunned to see him in the house….

Jai: Good Morning Mrs John….coffe…he extended the cup to her…

Mrs John: no no…I go up….in spanish she said check on babba…..Bani got that but jai was lost….

Jai; Mrs john bhi yaha rheti hai

Bani: like I said none of ur god damn business….now u have finished ur coffee would u leave….seh was very conscious him eyeing her and even though her buttons were done, she hugged the top of her pyjamas close to her revealing her figure more to Jai

Jai just had the urge to hold her and make her his right there and than but to know that there were people in the house and this is nor the time nor the place he didn't want to pursue with anything……

Bani: Wel yeh thumara Walia mantion nahi hai ke tum apni marzi ke cheez karo..yeh mera ghar hai…so please…leave…!!!!

Jai got up…went to her…."not before I do this"…he took her lips so hard….brusing it to sting it to label it that she was his and only his….nobody else….and left

Bani put her hands were his lips were and touched the bruised area….even though the kiss was brutal it still took her back to memory lane and she thought of the beautiful moments they had spent…one of them in which they conceived their son….she became teary and left for her room to shower….waiting for the doctors report….

The doctor called her telling her that all results are back expect for one which will lead to Monday since the labs don't open in the weekend…Bani was furious but said she will see the doc first thing Monday mrng and she doesn't want any excuses…....The doc said he will call her monday mrng...promise

The weekend was a nightmare for Bani….Jashiv's fever was fluctuating and he wasn't eating well…she was worried and all puffy eyed when she went to work on Monday…..

Thank God she said…atleast Jai didn't bother her rest of the weekend….

She walked into her office to find another desk on her side and Jai working on it with his laptop

Jai looked up as she entered….god she looked drained and helpless…..oh baby come to me I will take all ur pain away…..but he knew shee didn't trust him to let him hold her….

Bani looked at him and had no energy to fight….she went quietly to her corner…called Simi.......…."could u please get me some coffee…oh and sim…strong….and a cup for Mr Walia'

Jai: thanks…..i thought since we had to work together and ur office was so spacious why not work this way…

Bani: whatever…..Bani took a pill out of the draw seeing Jashivs pic in the first draw…she had taken it from her table and put it there last week scared that Jai might find out….and took the pills…..

Jai; busy weekend huh

Bani: looked at him and started to go to one of the cabinets…..

Just than the phone wrang…..and Jai picked it up

Doc: hi can I speak to …ahmm…Mis..im sorry yeah can I speak to Mrs Bani D Walia…

For the first time in months Jai was so happy to hear that Bani still carried her married name…with that he continued…"yes this is Mr Walia" not wanting to make Bani know that he took her call

Doc: hi my name is Dr Sharma and im calling form the central hospital …Mr Khan is on sick leave for the whole week as he has got chicken pox and cannot see any patients..hence all his cases have been forwarded to me…we have the results that mrs Walia was waiting for and we would like her to come in to discuss options…..

Jai was worried now…is Bani sick is that why she looks so pale today…dammit I hope she is okay…..

Bani: what??? Why are you starring at me

Jai: are you sick

Bani; excuse me??

Jai: I got a call from Dr Sharma …ur doc is sick so he is handling ur case and wants u to oome in for discussion

Bani was scared for a min that he knows about Jashiv but looking at his expression she knew he didn't know anything…….

Bani was so scared....she put her hands on her forehead and said aloud "mera Jashiv I hope he is okay"…..

Jai was so furious….kabhi tum mere liye itna pareshan hoti thi Bani….he thought…and said lets go…confused as to whose sick

Bani: where are you going????

Jai: with u who else

Bani: no u are not…meh khud chali joagi….besides thumar kya kaam

Jai: ur are my wife dammit whatever is ur kaam is my kaam so lets go…in his authoritative tone he meant every word he said…I am downstairs waiting in the car

Bani didn't know what to do….called in Mrs Johnson to take Jashiv to the hosipital …gave her the docs names and everything else and told her they will be there in a while….she was so worried…

Bani ignoring Jai took her car and left for the hospital…she didn't want him finding out about Jashiv…..no he is my son…and you are not finding out about it…no way

A furious Jai went to her office again to find that Bani had already left and was so mad
He got the address and drove like a maniac al lthe way to the hospital

In the meantime…the doctor explaind that Jashiv had a condition where by he need surgery…but before they could do that they needed to keep him under supervision for a few days to see what kinds of options they have…….Bani ws lost for words…..why me she thought…mere saath hamesha aisa kiu hota hai…..

The doc continued par Mrs Walia…Bani looked up at the mention of her name…her doc always addressed her as Bani so this was after sometime she was lost for words…..

Doc: the surgery is going to cost u a lot of money when he told her the amount Bani was lost for words………

Bani: magar doctor meh itne paise kaha se laugi….

Doc: im sorry but meh toh sirf aapko surgery ki baath kar raha hu….uske badh upar se aur lagegi

Bani: agar meh apne puri savings …advance pays, insurance or car bech du phir bhi kuch nahi hoga….hey bhagwan….

Doc: im sorry mrs Walia

Bani: theek hai aap Jashiv ko admit ki jiye…meh kuch karti hu

The hospital admits Jashiv in….

Bani left to start to look at the options and she dropped Mrs John at home to get Jashiv's things…….

The doctors had given sedative to Jashiv so he had to be left alone to sleep….

A mad and frustrated jai after 2 hours made it to the hospital….he was furios as he went to 2 other different hospitals before he came to the right one….apparently they had this particular doc in the childrens ward…why??

The nurse saw him and naturally knew that he was the babies father…....after all like father like son....she smiled...father and son looked so much like each other...no wonder the baby has such cute features

Nurse: hello Mr Walia….please this way…he is up and playing now

Jai was lost as to what happened and followed the nurse……she took him to far end of the childrens ward to a baby court that had a baby boy playing….but wait….Jai got the biggest shock of his life….he looked exactly like Jai when Jai was a baby…

Jai: yehh…to the nurse

Nurse: smiling…yeah ur son…Mr Walia…Jashiv Walia...smiling again….nice name by the way….

The nurse left
