part 26:
Bani gives Jai a long kiss goodnight, and then finally breaks apart after a couple of minutes. She gets out of the car and walks up the driveway towards the house. Before going in, she turns back and blows a kiss to Jai and smiles when she sees Jai grinning through the car window. She watches Jai leave, like she always does. When she turns around, facing the door, bani hears whispers and giggles coming from the side of the house, near the bushes. Curiously, she follows it and is shocked out of her wits to find Pia with Pushkar at this time of night. "It's three in the morning! What is she doing sneaking out of the house at this time of night?!," she says under her breath as she hides behind the bushes, watching them closely with narrowed eyes.
Pia: (whispers) Pushkar go already! (she giggles)
Pushkar: I'll go straight home AFTER that promise you made.
Pia: (shy) No!
Pushkar: Come on.
Bani watches their faces get closer and closer with one another. She quickly shuts her eyes with her hands and squeals, making pia and pushkar jump apart. She covers her mouth closed.
Pushkar: Who was that?
Pia: (gasps) Bani di?! Di! I can see you through the bushes!
Bani curses under her breath and stands up, revealing herself.
Bani: Sorry sorry sorry! I didn't mean to spy!
Pia: Oh my god! This just so embarrassing!
Bani: (her cheeks burning red) um, sorry. I'll turn around andâŚ.just let you do what you were doing âŚ.before.
Pushkar: (embarrassed) I think I should go.
Pia: (embarrassed also) âŚyeah.
Pushkar: I'll see you tomorrow.
Pushkar walks across the lawn and to his car.
Bani: (calls out) Bye, Pushkar!
Pia: Shh!!! Someone will hear you, di! And why were you spying on me?!
Bani: First tell me, what are you doing up so late?! It's three in the morning?! What were you doing, sneaking out of the house?
Pia: um, hello?! Aren't you doing the same thing?!
This shuts bani up.
Bani: So?âŚ
Pia: So what?
Bani: Well did he�??
Pia: did he what? Who are you talking about?
Bani: Pushkar! Did he kiss you????
Pia: (blushes) noâŚ.he was about to, but you screamedâŚ.
Bani giggles and asks for forgiveness.

Rano's heartbeat increases when she hears the backdoor's doorknob move. Her face shows a sign of relief as the door opens and shows who it is. She then becomes very angry.
Rano: where were you two?! I was about to call the police!
Bani: (shocked) Rano? What are you doing up?
Pia: (guilty) we're busted aren't we?
Rano: I should be asking you that question di! Where were you two?????
Bani and pia look at each other and begin to giggle and feel guilty at the same time for scaring their little sister.
Bani: (blushing)âŚuh,âŚit's pretty late, I think we all should go to sleep.
Pia: (giggling) I agree.
Rano: But-
Pia: Come on, Rano. (whispers in her ear) I'll tell you everything in the morning. (winks)
Rano smiles, forgetting all her worries, glad that she was being included in, and follows her sisters to their room.

Mausi: No, take that off! It looks hideous! I want everything to be elegant and beautiful! This is munna's wedding we're talking about!!! It's HAS to be perfect!
The scared guy shakes his head quickly and immediately removes the hideous green decorations. Mausi proceeds down the hall, examining all the preparations.
Guy: Ma'am, where should I put all these flowers?
Mausi: Put them near the windows. (her attention goes somewhere else) Aarre!! Yeh kya hain?! (trans: What is this?!)
Jai walks down the stairs, feeling very annoyed and irritated from the annoying chattering and yelling from downstairs.
Jai: Kya hua, Mausi? (trans: What happened, mausi?) Why are you shouting so much? All this yelling is giving me a headache.
Mausi: These people don't even know how to work right, they're messing up everything!
He examines the hall carefully, impressed by how beautiful it looks.
Jai: Mausi, it's perfect! What's wrong with it?
Mausi: No, everything is wrong! I did not want this! The colors aren't even right, I haven't even ordered half the stuff here, and they're just hanging decorations randomly!
Jai: Mausi, I think you are hallucinating because everything is fine! Maybe you should rest, you are stressing way too much.
Mausi: Nonsense, I am not stressing I am just simply making everything perfect, it's my son's wedding!
Jai grins and gives up hope.
Jai: Ok. Whatever you say.

Confused, bani looks at the many sets in front of her. She bites her nails, looking left to right at the jewelry in front of her, spread across her bed. They were all so beautiful, she couldn't decided on which one she wanted to wear.
Pia: Wow, Di! They're beautiful!
Rano: Which one do you want?
Bani: (confused) I don't know! It's hard to choose!
Pooja: Bani, I say that you pick this one.
Pooja Bhabi shows Bani a set, with dark blue diamonds. It would go with her lehenga, butâŚshe still didn't know.
Pia: (showing another set) No, I say this one!
Rano: That's WAY to heavy! We don't want Di to feel weighed down! Wear this, Di! (shows a simple set)
Pia: No! That's WAY to simple!
Rano frowns and sets her choice down. Bani ignores the three as they argue over which set was better. She turns over to Muskaan, sitting quietly beside her, staring at the jewelry. Bani smiles at how adorable she looks.
Bani: Muskaan?âŚWhat do you think?
Muskaan: Ji? Um,âŚ.I don't know bani ji, it is your wedding, you should pick what you want to wear.
Bani: (giggles) yes, I know, but I'm having difficulties on which one I want to wear. Do you like any one of these?
Muskaan: (looks back to the sets) âŚ.Ji, I like this one here. I think this would look gorgeous on you.
Bani takes the set out of her hands and looks at it, fascinated. The necklace is a fancy silver set, with a very nice shade of blue shining diamonds embedded into it and matching earrings along with it. It wasn't that simple and it wasn't too much, it was just right.
Bani: Muskaan, this is gorgeous! How did I miss this one?!
Muskaan giggles at bani's fascination.
Bani: I will wear this one, thank you Muskaan!
Pia: That goes perfectly with your lehenga for tonight, di!
Rano and Pooja agree. Suraj comes walking in with his brother by his side.
Suraj: Aarre, Bani? You aren't even dressed yet? This is THE Mehendi Raasum(did i say that right??? đ ) not wedding!! Everyone is waiting outside!
Bani: I'm sorry, Bhaiya, but I just couldn't figure out what to wear with my blue lehenga.
Pooja: Calm down, Suraj. Let her take her time. Bani go and get ready.
Bani: Ji, bhabi.
Vijay: (rolls his eyes) Women take such a long time to get ready!
Suraj agrees with him. Bani glares her eyes at Vijay and sticks her tongue out at him. Vijay laughs and leaves with his brother to attend all the guest.
