Akshay: Jao Muskaan! (trans: go, Muskaan!)

Muskaan stares at Akshay, not believing her ears. He was letting her go? Just like that?

Muskaan: (confused) Aks-
Akshay: Hurry up and leave before I change my mind. What vinod is doing to you,…it's just not right. (looks over to Muskaan) You're still here? Come on and move, or else Vinod will be back any minute.
Muskaan: (with tears in her eyes) Thank you, Akshay.

Akshay gives her a faint smile and walks away. Muskaan smiles and quickly runs away.

Bani uncovers herself from the blanket and stands up from the bed. She looks over to her sisters, who are sound asleep, and gets the message that the coast is clear. Bani walks over to the window and looks through it, smiling while she sees Jai waiting, anxiously, outside for her. She slowly, not wanting to wake up her sisters, opens the window and pops her head out of it, staring down at Jai.

Bani: (whispers) One Minute!

Jai frowns, he was sick and tired of waiting. Bani quickly checks herself in the mirror and looks at her sisters one last time. She goes through the window and reaches onto a tree branch, next to her window, planning to climb down to the ground. She stops midway down the tree, and wraps her arms around the trunk of the tree, for support. Jai notices bani stopped and becomes puzzled.

Jai: Why'd you stop?
Bani: I'm stuck! (she whispers)
Jai: What?!
Bani: I can't move!

He runs his fingers through his jet black hair and sighs.

Jai: Here, just jump and I'll catch you.
Bani: What?! Are you crazy??? No way!
Jai: Bani, stop wasting time! Come on and just jump. I promise I'll catch you.
Bani: no, jai! What if you don't catch me and I fall down right onto the ground and die??!!
Jai: Don't be silly, bani! Just close your eyes and fall back, I swear I'll catch you! Don't you trust me?
Bani: (jokes) No…
Jai: Bani?
Bani: Of course I trust you!
Jai: then just do it…

Bani closes her eyes and takes in a deep breath. "Ok, on the count of three, just fall back….Ready?," she hears jai call out to her.

Bani: (nervous) yeah.

"One…Two…Three".

Vijay sits down on his comfy chair and turns the TV on. He flips through the channels and stops at the news channel. The next second the door bell rings. Vijay glances over to his grandfather clock which reads 12:15. "Who could it be at this hour?," he says to himself as he gets up from his chair and walks over to the front door. He pulls the door wide open and is shocked to see who it is.

Pia gets up urgently when she watches bani exit through the window. She then hears a car's engine running and walks over to the window to see whose car it is. Pia immediately recognizes the silver Mercedes and sees Jai and Bani through the car windows. Pia happily watches the car drive down the street and out of sight. She laughs to herself. "Di is leaving in the middle of the night, and so am I. Sometimes it freaks me out how we do the exact same thing, " she thinks to herself. Pia pulls down her top and adjust her leather pants. She grabs her purse and cell phone on the way out of their bedroom door. Pia walks quietly as a mouse down the hallway and towards the back doorway exit.

Happiness replaces the sorrow in Vijay as he gazes at the woman that he had been looking for desperately the last four days. A smile comes across his face.

Vijay: Muskaan? (he says gently)
Muskaan: (trembling) …Vijay-Vijay ji!

She surprises him by hugging him and weeping on his shoulder. Vijay wraps his arms tightly around the terrified Muskaan, bringing her closer to him, wanting to comfort her.

Vijay: (smiling) Don't worry, Muskaan….you're home.

Rano opens her eyes, sleepily. She turns the other side of the bed and sees that she is completely alone on the bed. Terrifed, rano sits up on the bed and looks around the room. "Didi?.…Pia?..," rano asks worriedly and at the same time scared. She receives no response and gets up from the bed and walks over to the bathroom, hoping to find one of them in there. The bathroom is empty. "Maybe they're in the living room?," she says. Rano exit's the bedroom and searches around the house, hoping to find them, but doesn't. She fights against her tears, not wanting them to come out. "where are they?…". Terrible thoughts come into her mind and she becomes frightened.

Bani: It's been so hectic the past two weeks, hasn't it?

She says as she snuggles closer to Jai, his hands wrapped around her waist. Jai kisses bani's shoulder, making her skin tingle.

Jai: yeah. We've barely seen each other the last week.
Bani: Because everyone is stressing out because of the wedding.
Jai: especially mausi. (he laughs)

Bani quietly watches the waves crashing into one another and wetting the sand underneath her feet. The cold water felt nice against her feet.

Jai: What are you thinking about, Mrs. Walia?

He whispers into her ear, she blushes. His breath tickles the inside of her ear. Bani folds her hands in Jai's.

Bani: It's kind of hard to believe that this is actually happening.
Jai: What?
Bani: Us….getting married in one day. It all seems like a dream to me. I feel like I'm hallucinating.
Jai: This is no hallucination or dream, bani.

Bani turns around and faces him. She strokes his hair and looks deep into his eyes.

Bani: I love you.
Jai: (smiles) …I know.

Jai leans in closer to her face and kisses her. Bani feels his warm arms wrap around her waist, making her melt in his arms.

Vijay watches Muskaan sleep peacefully on his mattress, smiling to himself in joy. Even though he didn't believe in god, he thanked him anyway for bringing Muskaan back to him and into his life. She looked like an angel when she slept to Vijay. He strokes her hair as he continues to stare at her, happily. Not knowing why, Vijay kisses Muskaan gently on her forehead. He grins when he sees a slight smile come across Muskaan's face. Vijay gets up and switches the light off, making the room dark. Before leaving, he takes one quick glimpse of muskaan and then shuts the door behind him. Muskaan opens her eyes and her slight smile becomes a huge smile.
