hey guys, i have been busy this whole day! and still am kind of right now, i will try to update A.S.A.P!

FINALLY!! A ff in ENGLISH!! and the bits in HINDI are understandable!!! thats a great story indian_goddess!!!! i really loved it!! specially the parts about bani didi aur jai bhaiya!! i picture these images in my mind of innocent prachi wearing anything other than a saree and its impossible to image, thouh i'm sure she wud look hot and absolutely gorgeous in anything....i hope this story has a bright future!! ekta kapoor shudda use dis fan fic for kasamh se...but i guess. u kno..lol heheheh...i luv this cant wait for u to do more!! sum1 shud pm these episodes to mr. kapoor.. i'm sure he wud gladly read them and share with prachi if we ask! i'm sure they'll enjoy reading the fan fics. keep up the good work, i cant wait for the next part.

Part 18:

An exhausted jai enters his mansion, wanting to go straight to bed. He had a long day today, driving Pia and bani all over Mumbai, trying to cheer Pia up. And also because of his hard efforts to resolve the problem between rano and pia, but failed miserably. He slowly walks towards to staircase, and is suddenly approached by mausi, jigyasa, and dadi.

Mausi: Munna! I'm so glad that you're home!
Jai: (sighs) mausi, I am very ti-

All three women drag a puzzled jai to the dining table and sit him down.

Jai: What are you guys doing?
Dadi: puttar, hurry up and tell us which one you like?
Jai: dadi, what are you talking about?
Jigyasa: jai, look at this girl! Isn't she pretty? (showing him the picture)
Jai: uh, yeah, I guess. But why are you asking me this?
Dadi: puttar, look at this girl here! (shows another picture) What do you think about her?

Jai notices a bunch of pictures of girls in front of him, laid out separately.

Jai: Can someone please tell me what's going on?
Jigs: We're trying to find a girl for you!
Jai: (shocked out of his wits and yells) WHAT?!
Mausi: We need to get you married soon, munna.

Jai pushes back his chair and gets out.

Jai: Why?!
Dadi: you are 30! It's about time for you to get married! (shows another picture) how about this one?

Jai pushes the picture away from his face. He looks at his mausi, desperately. He lets them show many pictures of girls and their backgrounds, but doesn't comment on any one of them. After a couple of minutes, he can't take it any longer.

Jai: (yells in frustration) no! I don't like ANY of these girls! And I'll get married when I want to!

He walks away from them and stops in his tracks when his mausi says loudly to dadi and jigyasa, but wants jai to listen also, "of course, why would jai agree to any of those girls, when he likes this girl right here", she points to the picture in her hand. This immediately grabs jai's attention and he turns around to look at mausi, confused. He looks at the picture that she is holding in her hand, and perfectly remembers it. Jai's face goes pale as he watches mausi showing his bani's picture to dadi and jigyasa, shocked. He runs back to her and tries to grab it, but mausi hands it quickly to jigyasa, who keeps a firm grip onto it and doesn't let jai take it from her.

Jai: how'd-how did you? -
Mausi: (giggles at seeing jai looking so terrified) Aditya took the picture out of your wallet and gave it to us. He told us everything. (pinches his cheeks)

Jai becomes embarrassed.

Jigs: Awww! That's so cute! Look, jai is blushing!
Dadi: So, this is the girl who has kept you thinking about her past midnight?!
Mausi: munna, why didn't you tell us?
Jai: …I was eventually going to tell you, mausi.
Mausi: When? Huh?
Jai: After I propose to her on Saturday….

All three, mausi, jigs, and dadi stare at jai, stunned. Then they squeal with happiness.

Jigs: oh my god! You're going to propose to her?!
Mausi: oh I am so happy to hear this, munna?!
Dadi: Have you bought the ring, yet?

Jai laughs at their reaction to his great news. They look so foolish jumping up and down in excitement. Mausi is so happy that she calls Tony to order sweets for the wonderful news. Jai shakes his head.

Jai: I'm going to my room.
Jigs: (pleads) no, jai. At least tell us how you're planning to propose to her?
Jai: (pretends to think about it) hhhmmm, how about NO!

Jigs frowns. He snatches the picture of bani away from her hand and runs up the stairs to his room.

Bani sits lazily next to pia on the couch.

Pia: did you talk to her?
Bani: no, she didn't even say a word. I tried so many times and tried to reason with her, but rano is just too stubborn.
Pia: Let me try.

Pia slowly gets up, with the help of bani. She walks over to their room's closed door and knocks on it.

Pia: (sweetly says) rano?…sweetie, it's pia.
Rano: (yells) Go Away!
Pia: (hurt) please, rano. Let me talk to you, I want to know what's really bugging you. I know that you didn't mean what you said to me earlier today. Rano, open the door, please!

There is a moment of silence and then the door opens slowly. A teary faced rano looks at pia with guilt. Pia lets herself in and hugs rano.

Pia: Please tell me what's really going on? I know that you don't hate me!
Rano: what makes you think that what I said to you earlier, wasn't how I really felt?
Pia: because I know you way to well. Something else is on your mind, rano. And you're bottling it up inside, …let it out.

Rano looks at pia for a second and starts bawling.

Rano: I'm sorry pia, you're right I didn't mean a thing about what I said. I love you too much to think like that!
Pia: I know-I know, rano. Now what's the real problem?
Rano: (hesitates) I always feel so left out and lonely all the time.
Pia: What do you mean? You're not lonely? You got your two sisters!
Rano: no, I mean you two never pay attention to me and always keep me out of stuff and leave me out. And that really hurts.
Pia: That's not true, rano! We would never do that to you!
Rano: Well you two do.
Pia: name one time that we did.
Rano: Like last week, …I got a certificate for topping all my classes, and when I tried to tell you guys, no one would listen. You and bani di are always talking about some other stuff and ignore me and don't even tell me what you two talk about. To tell you the truth, I'm jealous.
Pia: (feels guilty) I'm sorry, rano. We don't do it on purpose and don't even realize it when we do it. I promise from now on that I'll tell you everything! No more leaving you in the dark.
Rano: (smiles) thanks. And I'm sorry.
Pia: don't worry about it! ….(switches the topic) oh my god! You topped all your classes?! That's awesome! This causes for a celebration!

Rano giggles and hugs pia. She loves it whenever they get into a fight, and in the end they are ok, pia acts like it never happened.

Aditya runs into jai's room, breathless. He spots jai reading a magazine, looking bored. Jai sees Aditya from the corner of his eye, puts the magazine down, and smiles at him.

Jai: What's wrong? Why you breathing so heavily?

Aditya shakes jai by his shoulders.

Aditya: They're crazy, jai! Our family has gone nuts!
Jai: (can't stop laughing because aditya looks so funny) what happened?
Aditya: All of them are dancing like it's the end of the world!
Jai: Why?
Aditya: I have no clue.
Jai: why do you look so tired?
Adi: oh, …well the kids were chasing me around and I'm out of breath.
Jai: (flips a page from the magazine) so now everyone knows?
Adi: know what? What are you talking about?
Jai: (sighs) I told mausi, jigs, and dadi that I'm going to propose to bani on Saturday.
Adi: why'd you tell them?
Jai: because my idiot friend told them everything about bani!

Aditya starts smiling like a moron.

Adi: sorry, yaar. I had to tell them, or else they would have picked out a girl for you.
Jai: (understands) it's ok.
Adi: hey, did you find one today?

Jai looks at aditya for a second and smiles. He puts down the magazine and gets off of his bed.

Jai: yeah, after a week of trying to find the right one, I finally found it.
Adi: Well what are you waiting for? Show me the ring!

He reaches into his coat pocket and takes out a small box with a small red bow on top. Jai slowly opens it and shows an eager aditya the beautiful, shiny and sparkling diamond ring.

Adi: jai, …I'm positive that she'll love it.
