Part 10
Ranvijay and Roshini have now entered the room to see that Rano, Jai and Bani were together.
Ranvijay to himself: ab to hum gaye. Jai won't leave us for sure!
Though Jai knew the truth, the question still stood of whether Rano had told Bani the truth before Ranvijay and Roshini had entered.
Jai: WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING HERE?! LEAVE RIGHT NOW! Bani does not need stress. Why can't you leave my wife and I alone? Why are you always trying ruin my family? And you Roshini.. when will you get it that I love Bani and ONLY BANI! Now Bani and my child are my life..my everything. I will give them anything they need… BUT you will never understand.. huh? GET OUT NOW AND TAKE YOUR FILTHY BROTHER WITH YOU TOO!
Roshini and Ranvijay were confused. They weren't confused about Jai's anger, which he always had for them, but rather they were confused on whether Jai knew the truth or not.
At that point Bani stands from her bed and starts to walk towards Jai, Roshini and Ranvijay. No one knew what to expect. She was so weak but yet felt the need to get up and do what she had to do.
She approached the three and all of a sudden. SLAP! Bani had slapped Jai!
Bani: ENOUGH! Mr. Walia just how you want THEM to leave you alone, I WANT YOU TO LEAVE ME AND MY CHILD ALONE TOO!
Everyone in the room was surprised. But Ranvijay and Roshini looked happy of what had just happened! Our poor Jai is shown so sad and depressed not knowing what to do now! How could Bani slap him..after what was told to her.. he would have thought that she would have forgiven him. THAT'S RIGHT! Rano HAD told Bani the truth about the Park Road incident before Ranvijay and Roshini had entered. Rano had told Bani how Ranvijay was the other car there that night and was the one who ran over their mom and put the blame on Jai.
Jai was so confused at this point. Even though he didn't get to hear Bani's reaction after the truth was told to her by Rano because Roshini and Ranvijay walked in, he didn't expect her to react this way!
Bani: PLEASE LEAVE…EVERYONE!
Ranvijay and Roshini leave happily thinking that even if Jai knew the truth he would be so caught up with what Bani did that he wouldn't pay attention to them.
Jai turns around and leaves while he stares and is speechless. Mr. Walia… who never allowed anyone to talk against him…today… was slapped by his wife.
Rano who was really angry with Bani because of what she did to Mr. Walia was about to leave when Bani stopped her.
Bani: Stop Rano.. I have to talk to you
Rano: What is there to talk about… you showed how mean and rude you can get after what you did to Mr. Walia. Even after I told you the truth about our mother's death, you still chose to treat Mr. Walia like that! Why di…why?
Bani was now crying really bad
Bani: RANO I HAD TOO! You don't know how happy I was to hear that Mr. Walia was innocent. But what could I do. Ranvijay and Roshini walked right in and by their look it seemed that they had come here to stop from letting anyone know the truth of what happened. Rano I had to do what I did so that I can punish Ranvijay and Roshini for what they did.
Rano: Di.. I'm really confused.. Why would slapping Mr. Walia help you punish Ranvijay and Roshini?
The scene cuts to Jai leaving the hospital still in daze… still heartbroken of what just happened. Every Walia member tried to stop him.. but it was impossible… He is shown walking on a lonely street in the dark where the wind and the clouds predict rain.
Jai to himself: Why… why is that when I feel that the most happy time of my life is about to come… something goes wrong… I thought I loved Roshini and Pia… but God you thought me that that wasn't love.. BUT Bani… its different… I can't live without her… Her slap today proved that I will become successful and get whatever I want in the business world, but the love that I so desire for, will never enter my life 😭 😭
