Well under the circumstances given and Jai being Jai walia... this reaction is OK. I completely agree that at times one is so shocked that they just become emotionless and completely clouded. But I hope he will soon realise bani's delicate condition.

I think Jai should actual say those lines after Bani confess her love and the reason as to why she slapped him. It would look so much cuter and more romantic.😃
