Ria has gone to work and Bani has sent Rano and Pia to check out the local colleges and see where they would like to contineu thier education.
She is drinking chai and reading the help wanted ads in the paper when the phone rings. She doens't see aunti around so she is wondering if she should answer or not. After a few rings she finally answers. "Hello"
"Hi Bani, Ria here. Maine Aditya ji se baat kar li hai or tumhari appointment confirm ho gai hai. Tumhe Mr. Walia has asked to come in at 1pm after lunch. Oh and be on time he doesn't like people who are late."
"Wow! Itni jaldi mujhe to yakeen nahi ata. Teak hai."
"Ok I have to go Bani mujhe bahut hi kaam hai, oh Ma ko yaad delana ke Megha ko school se bhe lana hai..
"Yes Ria Ji I will tell her."
Bani hangs up the phone is wondering if she will get this job or not. She didn't even ask ask Ria the dress code for the office. What should I wear? Should I borrow something from Pia she has a lot of skirts and tops. Par kya karoo mujhe ye sab suit nahi karta hai or Rano ke kapde sab pants or tank tops hai. I guess I better figure out something quick its already 11 o'clock.
Bani is sitting in the taxi going to her interview is thinking about what all has happened in the last month, how she will survive all this. When the taxi comes to a dead stop and reality sits in. "Madam mein aap ki wait karo yaha" asks the taxi driver.
"Nahi bhaiya mein manage kar lo gi, aap jaye." She hands him the cab fair and is standing infront of a building and is looking up and seems like the building is never ending. "Hey baghban meri madat karma"
She walks in and there was Ria she sent her up to the 10th floor to meet with Aditya Ji first. Bani goes up and knocks on the cabin door and is called in. She is so impressed at the office. Very simple very neat. The wall has a few inspiration pictures and the desk has couple of pictures, must be his kids she assumes, but no wife.
"Hello sir, Mera naam Bani hai Ria ne mere bare me aap se baat ki thi"
"Yes of course, Bani come in have a seat. We do have a position open its for a person secretary for Jai. His secretary just got married and has moved away. So we need a replacement. I can just recommend someone but ultimately its his decision. I see you brought all your college certificates, that's good. Mujhe Ria beti bahut pasand hai. She has put in a good word for you. I will send you up to Jai's cabin now don't worry, he's really a nice guy, but comes on really strong. Tum darna mat. Ok.

Bani going up to Jai's cabin and thinking I have to land this job. Mere paas or koi rasta nahi hai. Mujhe kuch be karke Mr. Jai Walia ko impress karma hoga. I have to support my sisters and pay rent.
She is standing in front of the cabin and is fixing her dupatta to make sure its not out of place. I should have pinned it.

"COME IN" She heard and thought awaaz se daar lag raha hai milne ke bad kya hoga.
