All the stories that I have been writing lately has been with a social issue and with a social message. Some of these stories were written with such intention others just happened the story developed that way. Now enough is enough, I am no moral teacher and protector of the society hence would like to write something different so thought of writing something in the lines of our much loved Mills and Boons stories. Let's say this is my first attempt to write something in the lines of typical Mills and Boons story. Just started it hence do not know how it will progress though, hope just like a MB story.

Prologue
Bani munched her toast, made a face as it was burnt, simultaneously packed her tiffin, nothing special roti / sabzi, she also tossed two varieties of fruits into the lunch basket, put the bottled water, her mobile vibrated, she looked at the caller, it was Mr Patil, her tenant?
Ji uncle she answered wishing the old man had more sense then to call her while she was getting ready for office, lekin?.beta ate waqt yaad se apna electricity bill le ana, aaj me niklunga toh dete huwe aunga?..
Ji ji uncle thank you for reminding me Bani cursed herself for cursing old Mr Patil, he wanted to help only, as Bani dialed Vikas, her junior and team member, to know whether he has left home or not as Vikas was a habitual late-latif, she took out her electricity bill and kept it next to her bag?.
Vikas are you out of the house or not she asked?.
Ji Bani I am out believe me?.
Remember Vikas aaj no excuse I do not want to hear that once again you were stuck in the jam, remember we are meeting the CEO and he is a busy man?.
Ji ji Bani, I know I know?.
Have you taken the pen drive and the laptop?.
Le liya baba leliya?.
Ok then see you wait for me outside the building, we will enter the office together?.
Ji Bani, I know the rule?.
See you Vikas?Bani disconnected?.
She quickly tucked in the ripe papaya with a fork, picked up the soiled dishes, put them in the sink when the bell rang...
Ok the car is here too, today she has to go to meet a client, an important client, being the Client Service Manager, the company provided her with official car at these times, it enhanced the company image, how Bani did not know as the car will drop her off at the gates of the office or somewhere near to it as much as the city traffic permitted it. Not that Bani was complaining, she hated to enter the client's office with clothes crushed or with foul mood which happened at times when you use the public transport?.
Bani slipped on her shoes, picked up her bags, the bell went on ringing, bare batameez driver hai, must be somebody new, Bani cursed, a rahi hu a rahi hu?she called out?.gave a glance around the house to ensure all the windows were closed, mansoon was about to set in and they had sudden showers, Bani did not want a wet room in the evening??.
Arahi hu baba, kitna batameez admi ho, kisi ne manners nehi sikhaya not to ring more than once since you have got acknowledgement, Bani opened the door and was stunned?.
Pia her twin was standing with a baby in her arms?.
Keya Bani itna der laga diya darwaja kholne me, tab se bell baja rahi hu??
Tum ? I mean kaha se??
Kahase? What do you mean by kahase? Dharti se, asmaan se nehi?..Pia walked passed coolly into the room and sat down on the sofa?..
Bani turned around, I mean na koi khabar, na koi intimation?..
Abhi de rahi hu na, mauka milne par toh kuch batane ki ichcha rakti hu?.
Pia and her weird sense of humour thought Bani?.the bell rang again, Mahesh the driver peeped in through the open door?.madam aap taiyyar hai, aapka samaan le chalu?.
Bani had thousand and one questions cropping up in her mind but duty beckons?.OK Pia the fridge is well stocked, make yourself at home while I go an meet an important client, after that I will come back and catch up with you?..
Client meeting, forget it Bani, I am here for next three hours only, have to catch a flight?.
Bani looked at her watch, she will take an hour to reach if she starts now and that means barely 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting?
Can we do like this Pia, you can come with me in the car, on the way we can have a chat and then from there you can leave for airport?.
Aur Riya?.Riya ko mai kaha chhor ke jayu?.
Riya? Bani looked at the baby, she was not thinking about it yet?
Ha Riya my daughter, your niece?..Pia replied?
Of course she is coming with us in the car?..
Bani you are not getting me, I am going abroad in an important assignment so want to keep Riya with you?..
With me? Kiyu?
Kiyu nehi, after all you are her masi?..
Bani was yet to digest the fact that she was a masi of an unknown baby all of a sudden as she was not aware of her birth?..
Bani quickly collected herself, picked up her laptop again, I mean why me Pia, specially since you had broken all ties with me, anyway so why should I take her responsibility, why not her father?.
I did not break any ties with you Bani, you wished not to keep them with me and Riya's father is dead?..Pia told her bluntly ?.
Bani dropped her bags??and sat down the sofa?..
That's better Bani, now let me introduce you with Riya?.
