Just then Bani walked in with a tray with tea and some snacks…

Jai looked up at her...she was handing the tea cups to everybody sitting around…

Hmmm said Jai without taking his eyes off Bani…

While Bani walked away not noticing anything…Jigyasa observed Jai's interest in Bani, which annoyed her further…after what Masi had said…

So what is Jaibhaiya thinking….normally he would hide from Masi when she starts this conversation…today he just sat there as if thinking about something or was it someone??...observed Jigyasa.

Chapter 8

Both Pushkar and Ranveer had come home early and taken the girls out to the movies…

So guys maaza aaya na…how did you like the movie…Bani was right about the movie…I am glad that we saw it….

Walking in, they saw Jigyasa Aunty giving them all dirty looks…

Doosra koi dhanda nahi hai…din bhar bas in ladkiyo ke age picche gumte phirte ho…

Pia and Rano rushed in not wanting to get into an argument with Jigyasa Aunty…cause they knew once she started it would be hard to get her to stop...

Bani and the girls avoided Jigyasa and her bitter tongue as much as they could….

Jigyasa was further irritated seeing both Jai and Bani walk in together later that evening.

What is going on now...first Jaibhai lets the girls stay her and then gives Bani a job in the hotel and now what???? Now he had become Bani's personal chauffer too… driving her back from work everyday…. No matter what time it is???…

This was the limit thought Jigyasa…today… today, I have to do something about this…

Jigyasa just could not stop herself and threw a fit..

Kya Jaibhaiya, yeh kya ho raha hai…first you decide to let these orphan girls to live in this house and woh jaise kum that ab aap kya Bani ke private chauffer ban gaye ho....

.. Waha pe Ranveer aur Pushkar uun dono chhoti beheno ko entertain karne mei lage hai aur aap badi behen ko.. what are your intentions Bhaiya or should I ask what are Bani's intentions… is she trying to pull a fast one on you, Jaibhaiya?

Bani was rooted to the spot, embarrassed with what Jigyasa had said..Masi and Dadi could not believe what they had heard.... so shocked that they could not say anything …there was total silence while no one said anything…

Jai looked from Bani to Masi to Dadi to Jigyasa…

Bani was very upset….she quickly made her mind up…fumbling through her bag, she took out a receipt and said…..

Mr. Walia, mai aapko batane hi wali thi…Hum teeno bas yaha sai janehi wale hai…yeh dekhiye maine flat rent karne ke liye advance bhi diya hai.. mai bas aapko ……..we will be moving out of the house this weekend…..

Bani what did you say? Did I hear you right… Tumne flat rent kar liya hai? How could do that?? No I ask how dare you?? How can you make such a decision without consulting with me?…thundered Jai…

I am your guardian…I am responsible for your and your sisters well-being...itna bada decision tumne liya hi kaise...how could you do that??....without my permission…you do nothing…you go nowhere…Legally you and your sisters are still under my custody…

Hearing the commotion the kids came down…

Ha par Mr. Walia…I have to think of my sisters and their well-being…. I will not tolerate anybody pointing fingers at them and for their reputation to be ruined…I have to do what is best for them…

I can't thank you enough for letting us stay here when we first came to Mumbai and believe me…Mr. Walia my sisters and I, we are very grateful…said Bani trying to diffuse Jai's anger…

Par Mr. Walia, aap hi sochiye, hum ees ghar mei rehete hai…we are not related to anyone her…log ulti-siddhi bate to karenge hi na… bus ees liye maine ye faisla liya…aur kuch nahi…

You had your say, right Bani??... so now listen to me carefully…very carefully …Jai said in a very quiet voice… he knew that he had her total attention when he saw her looking at him with eyes filled with guilt…

You did what you thought is right… but you forget that I am still your guardian and so now I will make the decisions...and you will follow them…no arguments...at all…understood???

He waited for Bani to respond…not receiving any he continued…making sure that he still had her attention, though he could see that her stance was getting defiant, her eyes flaring up with anger but she put a halt to her retort knowing that he was mad at her…

You have objections to staying in the house because you are not related to anyone in the house...right??? Am I right, Bani???

…so then…Bani…we get married…yes….you and I get married….Would that be relationship enough for you then? Enough for you and your sisters to stay here, for your reputations to not be ruined?

Bani is too stunned to reply for quite sometime….

There was complete silence where no one dared to make a sound…

Now Pia got excited for her Di….keeps thinking and wishing that it was her that Mr. Voila had asked to marry...Rano on the other hand not knowing how to respond holds on to Di's arm as if supporting her, holding her up not only physically but emotionally too….

Jigyasa was the first to recover from the shock and screamed…

Jai Bhaiya ye aap kya kehe rahe hai?? What are you talking about? Have you lost your mind?? Aap ees do kodi ki ladki se shadhi karenge...are you mad??

Na Jigyasa…tum to kuch bolo hi mat…

Par Bhaiya….she starts protesting…

Bus Jigyasa… ye sab tumhara hi khada kiya hua bakheda hai…Now all I am doing is that I am only trying to find the solution to it...

I am tired of listening to this nonsense everyday… So that's it…no more talk from you.. I will not listen anymore...especially to you….

Par Bhaiya..

I said no more, Jigyasa…

Marry you…me marry you?? That is not possible…. I can't do that…I will not do that….cried Bani.

Oh yes Bani you will, Bani!!!...Yes you will…I will have no more arguments from you and we will not be discussing this any further… Bus ek dum ek baat bhi nahi karogi tum abhi…you will do as I say…

Jai gives a quick glance and walks away towards his study….putting an end to any further conversation from anybody…

Jai Walia isgreat. Straightway proposed bani in front of all without giving her any say inthe matter. Thats RB Walia. Best part is ho he out smarted jigyasa who thought she will get rid of the girls by bad mouthing them. Her plan backfired.

Wha straight proposal or rather an order I should say. Doesn't the guy have a romantic bone in his body. I wonder if any girl would say yes to this proposal. But since JB has to be together anything will do.

Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!! What is this????!!! No arguments, no discussions, no time to object. Seeddha shaadi??? jai is working fast. Seeedhe seedhe kyun nahin kehta hai ki man me laddoo phoot rahe hai and he wanted to get married to her instead of threathening her because she wont move out!!!😉 You can tell us Jai, we wont tell anyone😃 And he needs to thank Jigs for creating the situation!!!!
