Jai gives a quick glance and walks away towards his study….putting an end to any further conversation from anybody…

Chapter 9

Bani did not move or say a word…

Then as if coming out of trance, she stormed after Mr. Walia towards his study…

Angrily she knocked on the door…

Jai: Come in….

How could you do that? No how dare you do that, Mr. Walia?... How can make such a decision for me? Will I not have say in this matter?

I thought I said that we will not discuss this further…so we will not discuss this…that's it….my decision is made and it is final…

So saying he opened the door…

And Bani one more thing you will not be leaving the house until we are married….

But Mr. Walia, I have a job to do…I will not quit…I don't want to quit….

You don't have to quit….your manager will be informed that you have taken some time off…

Bani had no choice, but to walk out of the door….

Wiping her tears of anger she stomped out of the room…

On the way out, she stopped in the hall where everyone was still waiting…

Bani looks towards Masi for some support…Masi…she said…

But then hesitated seeing that Masi is very happy…she had a smile on her face…it seems as if she has not only already agreed but also is happy with Mr. Walia decision…

Masi silently sends a prayer…thanking God…that Jai is finally getting married and that too, to someone who is to her liking...

Dadi breaks the silence saying ... ab kitne dino ke bad ghar me shehenai bajegi…haina Billo…

Ha Biji…aaj mai to bohot khush hui…

She turns towards Adi Uncle thinking maybe she could speak to him but sees his back quickly going towards the study…she looked on hopefully that maybe…maybe he could talk to Mr. Walia….

Adi Uncle gives his quick blessings to Bani…

Now as the shock wears off… everyone stirs…

Pia and Anu jumping with excitement… Anu and Pia discussing about what they will wear to the various ceremonies….

Rano is really unsure of how to react…

Pushkar tries to make light of the situation teasing Bani…

Arre abhi to mujhe sambhal ke rehena padega…I wont't be able to tell you what to do any more… you will be the boss' wife…so abhi tum humpe hukum chalougi...hai na??

Bani turned a sad face to him not sure how to react….turned around and started walking towards her room…

No one….just no one seemed to be worried about her or her feelings…

She heard Ranveer saying that he would take over the planning of the wedding decorations, etc. with Anu and Pia arguing with him…..

Jigyasa finally shocked in to silence…also walked away in a daze…

Bani did not go to work the following day, since her boss "Pushkar" already knew that she was going to be out… neither did she go down for breakfast.

Bani, kaha hai Masi….aaj breakfast ke liye niche nahi ayi…

Woh beta…

She is not feeling well….has a headache…chirped in Pia…once in a while she gets these migraine headaches that make her very sick, Mr. Walia…

Mai Bani ka nashta upar bhej deti hu Munna…

Aur who Munna….maine aaj Panditji ko bulaya hai…to fix the date for the wedding…

That is fine…. Just let me know as soon the Panditji gives you a definite date so that I can rearrange my schedule…

Before leaving, Jai went up to Bani's room wanting to make sure that she is ok…

He knocked on the door…

Ji…he heard a soft voice say…

It's me, Jai …Bani…

He heard feet shuffling to the door and the door opening….

I just wanted to know if you are ok…Pia was saying that you had migraine headaches…are you ok…do you have medicine for it?? Should I call the Doctor for you?

Nahi Mr. Walia…I am ok said Bani…avoiding his eyes…I have taken my medicine and will rest up….

Make sure you eat something…Ok then I will see you in the evening…

Hearing no response from her, he started walking away…

Closing the door the softly behind her…Bani muttered….first he gives me the headache then wants to know if I am OK…how does he think I should be…how will I be ok...oh God…how do I get myself out of this….this mess…No arguments he says….you will do as I say….ha….I am not going to marry him…no matter what….I have to think….think hard so that I can get out of this….

As usual great part! 👏👏👏……..So he is not giving her any chance to explain… ….Poor Bani is in great trouble…..😉 ……their chemistry was very well written.…..👏 So all the family members are happy except Jigs….Anyway I'm happy our Jb are getting married.....can't wait for the next part.
