Part 5
Gauri entered there room with great caution. She noticed that Shiv was in the bathroom, so she decided to get her clothes all together. That way when Shiv came out she could go shower and get ready. Shiv came out in his towel and quickly got dressed. While he was getting ready Gauri was getting ready in the bathroom.
She came out to put on her accessories and while she was putting on her churiya, she broke one of her bangles on her wrist. She didn't really say anything but it sure hurt. She quickly turned around to go get a towel from the bathroom but bumped right into someone. She looked up and saw Shiv. He was standing in front of her with a wet towel.
As she bumped into Shiv, a little blood got onto his new white shirt that he had just put on. He looked down at her and was already annoyed that she bumped into him, but then when he saw the blood he went completely bonkers.
Shiv looked at her and said, "what the hell is your problem? Can't you look before you turn around? Because of your stupidity, my new white shirt is ruined. Now what should I do with this shirt. I know maybe I can give it to your father, he wouldn't mind taking hand me downs." With that he smirked and grabbed another shirt.
Gauri was completely appalled at what he just said. She truly felt guilty for ruining his shirt, but she couldn't believe her ears. She knew that he would never actually do this but still if he could say he could do it. None the less she decided that for now she would leave the topic alone. There would be a time when he would eat his own words, and that she would make sure of.
Shiv came out of the bathroom all ready and looked at her and said, " If maharani ji is ready, then lets go get this over with. I have to go out tonight with my friends!"
They both left, Shiv in front and Gauri 2 steps behind him. Gauri looked up and all she could think how life has changed. She always thought that husband and wifes walked hand in hand together. Then she came out of her dream and went back to reality, her reality.
Now back to the party. all the older ladies stood there saying how beautiful the couple looked. How they looked like they were so in love. Needless to say, Shiv looked up and was appalled. He could not understand what these ladies were talking about. He could never love Gauri. He couldn't even stand the site of her.
