Part 9

It was a beautiful day and they only had the morning to tie up all lose ends and finish there packing before their flight at 4:30.

Shiv went to the office in the morning as Gauri finished all there packing. Shiv had pulled out all his clothes that he wanted to take. That was one benefit of having a wife. He would never have to pack his clothes again.

In the office Shiv fixed his report and then gave it to his father to check it out. An hour later, Mahen came into Shiv's cabin and slammed the report down on his desk. Mahen in a very serious tone, "I have never seen such a report. This is some of your finest work. I loved the part of explaining there added benefit of our customer service. I think they will really appreciate it that. None the less, Shiv I am very proud of you and if the London doesn't take our proposal I know that you did the best job to get it!" With that Mahen left his sons office wishing him all the best. Shiv never felt so proud and self confident. In his mind he actually thanked Gauri!

He left the office at 12, so that he could get a quick bite to eat and then get ready for his flight. He had his favorite aloo parantha. Then he ran up to freshen up. He went into his room to see all there bags neatly packed and Gauri looking through the boarding passes and there passports. She was dressed in a nice black body fitting sweat suit. She had simple stud earrings on, her mangal sutra and 2 rings on. She looked so simple, so casual that Shiv couldn't take his eyes of her. He wasn't attracted to her but just loved seeing this side of her.

She looked up and saw him coming. She smiled and sorted everything while Shiv freshened up. As he finished getting ready, she started to take some of the small bags down. He trailed behind her with the larger suit case. Everyone wished them a happy journey and wished Shiv best of luck with the new deal.

Part 10

They reached the airport on time and checked in. They finally boarded and found there seats. They settled in and the plane took off.

Gauri sat next to the window and decided to take a nap. She was extremely exhausted. Shiv took out his lap top and started to work on his presentation. He was extremely worried but unknowingly it comforted him to know that Gauri was going to be at in the same room. Finally after working about 2 hours, he looked over at Gauri and decided that he too would take a small nap.

He put his things away and reclined his seat. He fell into a deep sleep, and didn't realize when he rested his head on Gauri's shoulder. He slowly got really comfortable and snuggled right up to her. Gauri too was in a deep sleep and didn't realize that Shiv was sleeping on her.

Right before they were about to land, the airhostess announced if the passengers would kindly place there chairs in the upright position and put there seat belts on. At that announcement Gauri woke up. She looked over and saw Shiv snuggled next to her. She smiled and whispered to Shiv, "Good morning, wake up Shiv!" She slowly patted his cheek and he just grabbed her tighter. He said, "Nahin, I don't want to wake up. I am so comfortable." At that point he realized what he was doing and quickly got up in an upright position. He looked at Gauri and apologized to her for falling asleep on her shoulder. She just looked at him and smiled.

They finally landed and cleared customs. They reached the hotel that the company had made arrangements for. They both silently freshened up and went to the meeting. Shiv was looking over his final points on his presentation when Gauri came out of the restroom dressed in a nice Anne Klein black business suit. She had a nice baby blue blouse underneath and cute baby blue pumps on. She looked so professional that Shiv was completely blown away. Again it wasn't that he was attracted to her but seeing this different side of her really softened him.

They both go to the meeting and the presentation starts. Needless to say it was a complete hit. Everyone was absolutely impressed and congratulated the lovely couple. Gauri was very professional with every one of the guests. She shook every ones hands and thanked them for coming. Shiv was quite impressed as he would never have guessed a middle class village girl liker herself would be so sophisticated.

Finally the owner came up and personally congratulated Shiv and told him that he will definitely get the contract and that he will send the papers in the morning to his hotel so that he can review it. Shiv couldn't be happier and with excitement shook the owner's hand.

The presentation was over, the wait, the anticipation was all over. They were finally going to be able to enjoy their trip in London. The only problem was that they didn't want to spend it with one another. So they headed back to the hotel where Shiv had thanked Gauri for her help and mentioned that they had got the contract. He went on to say, "I have some really close friends here in London that I would like to meet. You are welcome to stay in the hotel or do whatever you like. I will be returning quite late." Gauri looked at him and smiled. She said, "don't worry, you enjoy yourself and congratulations on a great presentation. Baba would be really proud of you right now!" With that Shiv left the hotel!

Gauri sat on the bed and decided that she didn't want to waste all her time in the hotel. She wanted to see London. God knows when she will be able to come back. So she changed into a cute pair of jeans, a simple pink kurti, and a cute pair of sandals.

it would be nice if shiv saw gauri talkin or having dinner with somebody else and gets jealous and says "ahem, aap meri patni ko kaise jaante hai??? 😆 😆 😆

He is very good in his work and remembers everything about business. At office, he is very charged but at home he is always sleepy, tired and lazy. When he comes to know about Ipshita's relation with Shiv he is hurt.
