PART 12:
Gauri went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast….Masima was there….
"Masima…make it less spicy….Shiv doesn't like his food spicy……" she paused realizing what she just said…she gave a glance to Masima and just ran out of the kitchen…
"You love him Gauri….you love him very much….and I am very sure that Shiv's love will compel you to go back to him…."thought Masima.
Anupam came home that day….but he didn't speak to Gauri nor Kaya…not even baba…he went straight to Ipshy's room….Ipshy just hugged him when she saw him….
Ipshy : I'm so glad you came Anupam…she just started crying…
Anupam tried to pacify her: what's the matter Ipshy….is everything alright? Have you spoken to Gauri…?
Ipshy: No…. I wanted to speak to her…but then Kaya….
Anupam:Kaya….what happened?
Ipshy: She said I was jealous of Gauri…her happiness…that I couldn't see Gauri being happy with Prateek…and she accused me of helping Baba in his plan….tell me Anupam...Why would I ever do such a thing…?
Anupam: Everything will be alright….
Ipshy: no ….nothing will be alright…Shiv has signed the divorce papers sent by Prateeks lawyers…
Anupam: What???
Ipshy: its true….i never liked Prateek….and the only reason I hated him was because of his self-centeredness…he only cared for himself…I didn't want my friend to suffer…I know how difficult it is to survive when you have a self centered person bossing your life…I have seen my mom suffer b'coz of my father's selfishness…he only cared for his business….his happiness…in that process my mother had to keep compromising with her life…I hate my father…for what he's done to mother….he didn't even have the time to visit my mother when she was on her deathbed….I have seen my mom suffering….I don't want Gauri to go through such kind of torture in her life……
Anupam: Ipshy…please control yourself…trust me I know Gauri…
Ipshy: well even I thought I knew her….arrey how can she not see how much Shiv loves her….how can she not realize how happy she was since the time Shiv entered her life…why is she acting so stupid? Why can't she just understand…I mean Anupam…I had never seen Gauri so happy her whole life…
Anupam: I understand…but then baba shouldn't have done…..
Ipshy: I agree what baba did what wrong….but his intentions were right…its Prateek who's disgusting…that man he left Gauri when he heard he's getting a business deal…n now he wants her back in his life...I mean how selfish can he get….
Anupam: Keep calm Ipshy…I'll see what can be done….I have some work to complete…I'll meet you later…you take care of yourself…
Anupam was about to leave the room ,when he saw Gauri standing near the door with the coffee tray…he didn't speak to her and walked away…Ipshy too just left the room….Gauri just wiped a tear off her eye….
Back at Shiv's place…in the evening….he just returned from office….quietly opened the door…quietly kept the keys on the hook….removed his shoes kept it properly on the shoe rack….kept his tiffin in the kitchen at the place it was meant to be….walked to his room…kept his bag on the table…he sat on the chair…and cried quietly….he missed Gauri…he terribly missed her….in case you are wondering why I mentioned the above time-table activity of the keys,shoes,tiffin,bag….well the reason is Gauri….she hated the things being messed up.."All things have a place to be kept and it ought to be kept there…and yes Shiv how dare you mess my house up!" he remembered his Gauri ordering him…..
From the day Gauri left the house…he rarely remembered when he last smiled…he rarely remembered what he had eaten…he was just not himself…he only remembered his Gauri….
"So are you planning to cry your whole life Shiv?" Shiv looked up to see Ekta Mai standing with Anupam and Gopal near the door….
"No Mai…Shiv is so great….u see…he only wants Gauri's happiness…!" Exclaimed Anupam sarcastically.
"So true….Gauri's acting stupid and my Shiv is acting dumb….but you know what…u'll are terrible actors…"
"Di…what's the matter with you? You very well know why I have done what I've done"
"Yes…I know why you have done so…but I fail to understand why you aren't fighting for your love….how can you give up so easily…"
"Because she does'nt love me…that's why!!" said Shiv angrily….
Anupam: "Says who? "
Shiv: Anupam….you very well know that she only loves Prateek….
Anupam: You are highly mistaken….She only loves you…but she is hell confused at the moment…you need to make her realize what your love means to her life….you need to make her understand how important you are in her life
Shiv: what do you mean?
Ekta: Idiot….he means that you have to wake Gauri from her sleep….She is too confused at the moment to understand anything or for that matter take any decisions…
Shiv: Okay…I'll go and speak to her right now….
Ekta:Oye…oye…oye…wait a minute…you'll talk to her and she'll understand???are you nuts baby?
Shiv:But then without letting her know what I feel for her and what she means to my life…how will she understand?
Ekta: tu toh buddhu ka buddhu hi rahenga…
Shiv: Matlab?
Gopal: Matlab…Shiv show some freaking attitude dude! Make her realize your value in her life…
Ekta: Oh my God!!! For the first time in your whole life Gopi…u've spoken something that makes sense…thank you God! Sab uski maya hai….
Anupam: Shiv don't look so confused…see Gauri has taken you for granted…make her realize her mistake…
Shiv: But how?
Ekta: I have a plan…..
And they discussed their strategy….and towards the end of it…Ekat mai and Gopi laughed their evil laughter…hehehe…(filmy style)
Shiv smiled and thought," Gauri you are mine and only mine…and no freaking guy can ever take you away from me…"
