No pity for Parthi he asked for it. He is not a kid when he went all out to play with "fire"....he wanted Hema as a keep and Anandhi for a wife. He wanted the best of both worlds - what a crafty setup....!!😡😡

Hi Satish - you are doing your role splendidly..👍🏼..I love to watch Parthi shiver in his pants...I bet he regrets and wish he could put the clock back .....!!🤣🤣

We just cannot generalize & totally discard that all Indian serials are unreal& useless. We do have & have had some good & sesible serials. Most of KB's serials are different & nice with some social msg. The current Tamil serial 'Enge Brahmanan' is also good but how many will like this philosophical theme & watch is a big Q .We have had some good Hindi serials too like Hum Log, Buniyaad [Family dramas] , Fauji [ story of an army officer.SRK shot to fame thru this serial] ,Yeh Jo Hai Jindagi , Nukkad [comedies] to name few.

Cheating & Polygamy are not something new & nonexistant in real life. .. As Satish pointed out many of our Netas & cine stars lead polygamous life.Now a days its rampant even among the middle class.Not that i am trying to defend such serials & its producers...just pointing out some of the realities.Personally do not appreciate such topics.

Initial episodes of Kalyanam appeared interesting with a mystery plot. Now it too has started its downward trend.

Its like the boy who cheated the villagers by crying wolf....but when the real wolf came nobody went to his aid. Poor Anandhi all her rights as Pathi's wife is taken by Hema..I wonder if Hema would even let him have his "first night" with Anandhi. Looking at Hema she might make sure that Parthi doesn't have any time alone with Anandhi...coz she believes he belongs to her only...!! 😛

parthi was getting jealous when he saw anandhi talking to ragu - but he's gone this far with hema! what a hypocrite.
this two-wives syndrome is really putting me off...we all know the pattern this is going to take - I for one, just dont want to watch it any more! I'll just stick to the updates, for the sake of finding out about Arthi, Ganesh and Meera's stories.

Since Laksh tells me that more couples are getting their marriages registered these days, maybe Parthi got married at an office where they didn't have a computer? Or it is possible that he may not register his wedding with Anandhi, since he had already asked her to get a passport made, and she has already got one, so he will say that there is no need to register to get a passport. My thoughts are all screwed up, thanks to these serials, and I am beginning to think in their twisted manner! Or Hema may arrange to have his second marriage registered at a place where she knows the person who is keying in the info and she pays him to key in Parthi's name with a different address. Who knows what is possible?

I know Satish has mentioned that politicians and even our ancient epics have mentioned polygamy, but times have changed. Besides, there was no lying about it there, all the wives knew that they were not the only ones, and they all knew each other, and everybody lived together, but here there is lying and covering up the existence of the other wife! So there is deceit here, and cheating and lying, which is definitely wrong. Okay, okay, I am getting off my soapbox.

Why doesn't a producer try to do a serial that is clean? He would be surprised at the popularity of his show. Even now, Tmt. Selvam doesn't have this multiple spouse thing, and yet it is more popular than many of these other shows.
