We just cannot generalize & totally discard that all Indian serials are unreal& useless. We do have & have had some good & sesible serials. Most of KB's serials are different & nice with some social msg. The current Tamil serial 'Enge Brahmanan' is also good but how many will like this philosophical theme & watch is a big Q .We have had some good Hindi serials too like Hum Log, Buniyaad [Family dramas] , Fauji [ story of an army officer.SRK shot to fame thru this serial] ,Yeh Jo Hai Jindagi , Nukkad [comedies] to name few.

If at all he gets caught (possible only with legally registered first wife's complaint) , he'll be severely punished for cheating law & two women & also the second marriage will be legally cancelled .. Since Laksh tells me that more couples are getting their marriages registered these days, maybe Parthi got married at an office where they didn't have a computer?

Or it is possible that he may not register his wedding with Anandhi, possible since he had already asked her to get a passport made, and she has already got one, so he will say that there is no need to register to get a passport. My thoughts are all screwed up, thanks to these serials, and I am beginning to think in their twisted manner! Or Hema may arrange to have his second marriage registered at a place where she knows the person who is keying in the info and she pays him to key in Parthi's name with a different address. Who knows what is possible?

I know Satish has mentioned that politicians and even our ancient epics have mentioned polygamy, but times have changed. Besides, there was no lying about it there, all the wives knew that they were not the only ones, and they all knew each other, and everybody lived together, but here there is lying and covering up the existence of the other wife! So there is deceit here, and cheating and lying, which is definitely wrong. Exactly LJ maa .... Okay, okay, I am getting off my soapbox.

Hema has promised Parthi that she'll let him go for honeymoon too with Anandhi 😳 & she'll not not disturb him at all .. All she needed is a certificate saying she is Parthi's legal wife ... Looking at Hema she might make sure that Parthi doesn't have any time alone with Anandhi...coz she believes he belongs to her only...!! 😛

I want to apologize to all in this forum in case I have hurt anyone's feelings by my opinions. My only intention was to protest against the marital cheating and infidelity that seems to be coming up and so openly, all the time, in these serials. As such, I believe that I do not belong here, definitely not in this serial, so I will confine myself to the other threads henceforth.
