Lame excuse. If Hema is only after money Parthi could have easily paid her off & closed the chapter. But then as u rightly said the serial can't be dragged for years. Parthi doesn't deserve any pity but Satish will have a lot from me.

Updates done dear ... Poor Elango when he lied every one trusted him , but when he is saying the truth , none trusts him ...

Parthi , you too have a sister .. How could you do this ??? 🤢 ... Wish Rathna changes the will , mentioning Anandhi's name & not like Parthi's wife 😍 .. Then Hema will get a big aapu 😉 ....

Hun, i thought he did mention anandhi's name nu 😲😲😲 in the will?? did not mention vaa?? annalum ippo ennake ore doubt. Definitely Parthi will have to register Anandhi tannai, i mean the thali is not going to be the only thing right? And for sure the registration cannot take place as his legally already registered to Hema tannai? orei confusion paar ennake 😕

As far as I know, nobody in India gets the marriage registered unless they need to go abroad, and the thali is the only proof of a marriage. And even if you do go to get the marriage registered, as we had to do ours after the thali part, there is no cross- checking or even checking for that matter, so unless it is the same Registrar's office, Parthi is not going to get caught.And for sure the registration cannot take place as his legally already registered to Hema tannai? orei confusion paar ennake 😕

Overall, I am disappointed at the materialism and greed that is being shown in these serials.

Eljay maa .. I do agree that all marriages in India are not registered still ... But considering last five years , the rate is increased , irrespective of travelling abroad ... Almost all my collegemates & other friends have registered their marriage .. And you do have a gov website to find abt these registered marriages .. You just need to provide the couples name , their birth year & city ... It gives u the rest of the details .. I have seen mine too once 😳 ... Nowadays girls & her family strongly believe they are safe if they register the marriage ...

And i'm not sure abt the procedure those days .. But now , you need to provide them evidences & they get signatures from 3 witnesses too ... One from girls side & grooms side .. and a common person to both families ...

Even if they go to the same registrar office , what is the use in Parthi getting caught ??? Thaali kattinathu kattinathu thaane ...

I really wish Elango uses his brains & catch Parthi red handed somehow before he ties thali on Anandhi ....

Thanks for the clarifications, Laksh! However, I seriously doubt that Parthi will get caught before he ties the thali on Anandhi's neck. In that case, the story will come to an end soon and we will all be spared the agony of watching the one guy with two wives saga, which is not the intention of the director (must be an unwritten code in these people's handbooks - to prolong these triangular situations, thinking audiences like them!), as Satish has pointed out. Actually, had this happened to me, I would have walked out and given full publicity to the cheating pair, making them the headlines in the papers and shaming them, and that was over thirty years back. I agree, my family would have supported me, and there are many others without this kind of support, but this cheating has to be stopped. I am sorry for getting on my soapbox, but this topic gets me upset.

Once again, i feel like asking why we cannot have shows like The Cosby show, Full House (family centered, without the scheming) or shows like House and ER (medical suspense) or even Law and Order or CSI, but my questions fall on deaf ears.

Eljay, Our guys JUST CAN NOT do any thing like
ER or Without a Trace -period. As for blaming the
audience - "we give what the public ask for" is
uh huh actually - The way they say that this two wife
syndrome attracts audience, one would think that there
is not one decent guy in the whole of Tamil Nadu and
not one intelligent woman who sees through her double
crossing husband . Unless there is going to be some kind
of censoring , Tamil Serials will NEVER come any where
near reality !!! Actually, u do not even need family support
these days to walk out of such a marriage - the law is all helpful
and the awareness has increased too - but the serials ???
I can't find a better description -' UH HUH UH HUH "

Thanks for the update, Smlaksh. And, thanks too for the information on the registration of marriages in India. I am pleasantly surprised that there is a computerised registration system that is accessible to the public. It would seem that things are improving on the women's rights front in India. But, alas, serials continue to focus on the uglier side of the ledger.
