this two-wives syndrome is really putting me off...we all know the pattern this is going to take - I for one, just dont want to watch it any more! I'll just stick to the updates, for the sake of finding out about Arthi, Ganesh and Meera's stories.

I was getting flashbacks of that scene and thought of writing it too. Ya...jealously could be seen spread all over his face (good performance by Satish..👏)...but what abt his clandestine romance??...think of how Anandhi would feel when she discovers her husband's double standard life and that she is only second best to Hema.... all the rights of a legal wife belongs to Hema only. I feel Anandhi is really an unlucky girl..!!😕

I know all you people are criticising the serial and its storylines.i remember saying the same in the muhurtham forum.producers want the serial to run for 2 to three years and will use what story that is best for them.don't get over involved with serials.watch and forget that's all.why is kolangal running for so long.what about bold and beautiful which ran for 15 years and still runnning.because there is a market for such stories and people out there to watch it.as for me i dont watch much tv but do lot of reading and listening to music.

Satish don't take to heart abt the complains we are making here. This Forum is for us to render our point of views/thoughts whether good or bad..otherwise this place is going to be as dull/cold as a graveyard. Nobody will take the trouble to log into any threads here in INDIA FORUMS. Don't forget we as viewers are emotionally involved too as the storyline gradually picks up thus we throw all kinds of corrosive mockings esp. at the badies.😉 Therefore, we have nothing against the actors/actresses who are performing it. I know you are upset coz you are doing the dirty role of Parthiban..but that's your profession as an actor to show off your skills and capabilities. You wouldn't have chosen this field if you have had a doubt in your talent. Btw...I watched the way Uday pushed his mum Arase.... which almost made her lose her balance - personally from my observation I believe that you would have felt bad even carrying out that...!!👏👏👏.

ELJAY!!! Please don't go!!!
Let me add my voice to those who are clamouring to see your continued participation in the Kalyanam forum. You are one person whose comments I have always enjoyed reading for their balance and thoughtfulness.
I agree with much of what you have said about polygamy/adultery and deceit. But, as Satish pointed out, these are practices that reflect reality, or at least part of the reality in India. And, you yourself pointed out their prevalence in the US, up to the level of the former president!
While there are some first rate American soaps, such as ER and CSI, many others that have attracted huge viewerships do depict adulterous relationships. The long-running Dallas and Bold & Beautiful come to mind.
I guess the redeeming feature of all these Tamil serials that depict polygamous relationships is that none of them ends with the acceptance of polygamy. Either the polygamous relationship collapses or it leads to the dissolution of a bad first marriage. Divorce and serial marriages are a reality in society today and at least these are being presented as choices in our serials, acceptable alternatives to staying in bad/adulterous marriages. Take Kasthuri, for instance. She was divorced against her will by a two-timer but eventually got re-married. And, that two-timer was himself dumped by his second wife.
Let me stress, I am not giving a pass to these serials or condoning polygamy and deceit. I am with you; I share your views. But let's just treat these as serials and not get carried away by emotion. Have your say -- most of the readers agree with you anyway -- and then let it pass. We value your participation in this forum just as much as, if not more than, the serial itself.
PLEASE COME BACK!!

Honestly ,Eljay , I don't see anything in your posts that could offend anyone's feelings. Then what for is this apology ? The points raised by u are absolute Agmark truth. Pl. keep posting your views. As Bon said let us not get carried away emotionally by these serials. Let us shut our brains & watch them. I have learnt it now. Let us have more fun here.Looking forward to see your posts as usual.

Bjda, I have a feeling that before Sujatha fulfils her vow of unveiling the "truth" about Ganesh, a certain retired postmaster from Connoor will come on a visit to Chennai. He will bump into Sujatha and shout, "Hey you are the woman who bumped into me. And you are a terrorist. But then I thought you were dead. Anyhow, I am going to apprehend you and take you to Mayavathi". Whereupon Sujatha will have to scoot and go into hiding until she can clear her name.
Alternatively, the postmaster will see both Sujatha and Ganesh and make his loud declaration about Sujatha being Meera. That will turn the tables on Sujatha and it will be Ganesh's turn to harrass her.
