Episode starts in the garden. Vivaan thinks back to Amar Uncle speaking about his birthday. Meera walks to him and grabs his hand. She speaks about holding it for the last time and ending the relationship etc. Vivaan tells her to stop, pulls his hand away and asks what she is doing. She asks did he he stop himself from insulting her parents. It was bad enough that Mrs Kapoor does and now he did the same. She tells him, she will let go of his hand and their relationship. (Poor Batman looks hurt, Sherni needs to calm down. )
She tries to leave but Vivaan pulls her towards the wall. He ask her if she has lost her mind.
Perhaps Mrs Kapoor is speaking the truth and that is way he is still in India.
Perhaps Meera has something to say and wants to know some things. He tells Meera she does not know the difference between perhaps and absolutely. THAT is why he is still in India, otherwise he would have booked a chartered plane and left. (He IS thinking! Thank goodness. 😃)
He releases her and their hands brush against some flowers. He tells her to do as she likes, but as much as he knows her family, she will be hurting them more than he did. He ends with, "But if you want to go ahead, then do it." As Vivaan walks away he sees a thorn on his finger and removes it. He turns back and Meera is doing the same. His expression softens and he leaves. (Symbolism?🤓)
Nimmo asks Amaya why she bought gifts since Vivaan...Vivaan Jiju does not want to celebrate. Amaya replies she has hopes that Meera will change that, as she has done in other matters.
SM comes to the garden taunting Meera and offers a tissue for her wound. Meera refuses and answers her back using Vivaan's 'possibly / may be' argument. Telling SM, in Vivaan's eyes they are equal. ( Meera should not have revealed that. Vivaan needs to teach her how to bluff. )
Meera tells Amaya to forget birthday plans because Vivaan is playing with 'possibly / may be'. They can not make him wear a birthday hat while SM has put other thoughts into his head. (He would never wear a birthday hat. 😆) Amaya asks what they can do now and Meera answers, it must be proved who is telling the truth. She reassures Amaya.
Vivaan makes his points clear to SM. He tells her perhaps Meera lied and everyone trapped him. He tell SM he can also put 'perhaps' before everything she has told him. Perhaps Meera is right and what she is saying is wrong. He states nothing can be believed. When SM reminds him of the police record he reminds her of what she told him. She herself said that in India any document can be forged, by paying a little money. So those records can not be trusted 100%. (Aawww so proud of him today. 👏)
Then he declares, no matter how much Meera fights and is rude to him, this does not FEEL right. He tells SM these people can not do such things to me, not under any circumstances. He tells SM, no matter what happened marrying Meera was his decision, only his. As far the BM is concerned he does not believe it. SM tells him it seems he is affected by it. Now she is done speaking and will give him the proof that will remove any doubts.
Amaya walks in and tells Vivaan whether he comes or not his birthday will be celebrated. She is organising his birthday with Meera Bhabhi's family and will wait for him. Vivaan starts to speak but Amaya tells him she knows. He may not love them but he can not take away their rights on him. She directs her gaze towards SM and leaves.
Vivaan is sleeping alone with the lights on and thanks God that he can sleep peacefully. Meera is in her old room with the lights off but can not sleep. MeerVaan lay awake and 'Soya Jaaye Na' song sequence starts. 😊
Meera switches the lights on in her room and Vivaan imagines her eating chips on the bed, dancing and falling on him, their eyes lock. He wakes up from the dream and switches his lights on. Looks around and wonders what just happened.
Meera lays awake thinking when her lights goes off. She turns and imagines Vivaan in the dark. He is annoyed by her and she can not believe he is there. He trips and falls on her, their eyes lock. He gets up and switches her lights back on. Meera is alone.
MeerVaan get up and stand at their windows. It is midnight and Meera wishes Vivaan happy birthday. Vivaan catches a heart-shaped balloon floating near his window and thinks of Meera in the garden, he bursts the balloon. 😆
In the morning SM puts nimbo black magic on the sofa while Vivaan is sleeping. She boasts about about crashing MeerVaan's relationship.
Dhingra's do aarti for Vivaan's birthday, Meera tells them she can not join in and will be back soon. Dolly becomes thoughtful and everyone prays.
SM and Meera clash outside the house.
Vivaan proves to SM that Meera was not responsible for BM, since she was not on the Kapoor side of the house that night. He tells SM he saw her close his door. SM asks if he suspects her and he answers no, but it he will not suspect the Dhingra's. SM thinks she loosing her grip on Vivaan. (Obviously! )
Meera is with Preeto looking for clues related to Pammi Kapoor. Preeto shows Meera her mother's belongings. Meera asks if she is still angry about the kabbadi and Preeto answers yes, but she has to help a friend in need. Preeto asks if Meera is worried due to her husband and she answers yes and because of her saas too. She jokes that she has become a 'typical patni'. (Cute 😆)
Vivaan reads the birthday card from Amaya, she wants him to realise that God has given him the best gift in the form of Meera. Vivaan imagines Meera wishing him and wonders what is wrong with him. (Kuch kuch hota hai Batman, tum abhi nahin samjho ge 😉)
Vivaan imagines her again and throws a pot at the mirror. Imaginary Meera teases him and tells him it would have been better if he had kept the real Meera with him. He throws some thing else and shatters the mirror completely.
Meera finds the proof she was looking for.
Pre-cap : Meera is running home to Vivaan. SM brings Laali to make Vivaan doubt again.
My opinion - Another good episode.
Vivaan and his sound reasoning were the highlight today. Hoping he remains this way is able to see through Laali's lies too. Meera making contact was Preeto connects us back to the story. Their conversation was so natural and realistic. As usual Amaya was great. It is refreshing to see a younger sister who is so sensible and mature.
Last but not least, the song sequence was sweet and funny at times. I am not fond of too many falls or trips and they could have been choreographed better. Aditi and Arjit portrayed MeerVaan emotions well though. 😊
