Arch and Malvika, while we are waiting for new developments on our home show, can you ladies meanwhile give me your views on KYY which I recommended? 😊

I will be keen to hear from you once you have seen a substantial no. of episodes. I would say that the show comes into its own from around the Musicana night episodes ...

How far have you got by the way?

Hey there!
I've reached episode 32. The leads are growing on me. I like their chemistry. It took me a while to get used to the college setting without feeling super old😆

Which one is the musicana episode by the way? Will try to watch 2-3 episodes today.

Oh, then you are a long way from Musicana which is in the 60s.

True, the college setting made it difficult for me too earlier but I think the makers veered away from it. As the relationship progresses they show the appropriate emotions that are almost age agnostic.

Good on them. I'll try to reach there ASAP.

Frankly they tackled a fair no. of things on the show quite well for at least 150-200 episodes

1. Gay relationship (Cabir's performance is genuinely good)
2. A girl using sex as a way to deal with her messed up emotions (Mukti)
3. Aliya - Manik - they handle the whole childhood sweethearts who break up (due to Nandini though Manik never admits that) but still in the same close knit group of friends quite well
4. Navya-Mukti and later Navya-Cabir
5. Dhruv - the actor was very raw and quite difficult to watch but actually his characterization and equation with Nandini and of course Manik once you ignore his raw acting was well written
6. Cabir as cupid for Manik-Nandini from the late 60s
7. Manik -Nandini - genuinely worth watching. Will not sell them anymore, will let you experience and make up your mind. 😊. One thing I have to say is that even if they had irritating tracks in the show post 150, their relationship graph was good and highlighted the appropriate emotions. Nandini especially comes into her own as she experiences her first romance and heartbreak. All the childish mannerisms you see now will slowly fade away

I hope you like it all because if you do then you have at least 150-200 episodes of viewing pleasure ahead of of you.

Hello ladies 😊

I reached episode 40...
The leads are growing on me slowly...
The entire college setting, pulling each other and the tashan surely made me feel old... 😊 but it's not silly...
They used all the usual moments - stuck together, falling against each other, eye locks... but the leads have nice chemistry...

What's ironic is in a young show there is no hesitation in showing real youngsters with testosterone & girls comfortable with their sexuality... As they grow older and shows move on general entertainment channels, they turn super sanskari... So we tell the youngsters, being yourself is ok and as they get older, our message changes to 'limits, shame, maryaada'... Oh! Confused society!

Oh! And I think Cabir is gay... sensing this from early on so if it's true - nicely weaved in and a required angle to touch on...

Wow. Dealing with a gay character in a sensible fashion is rarely seen on tv. looking forward to watching this track. I'm definitely gonna watch the whole thing, specially since you recommend it so highly. I just might take some time, things have been crazy on the work front! Don't get time to watch more than a couple episodes everyday.
I have a feeling Manik may break up with Nandini coz of Dhruv. I like how they are showing the bromance without melodrama. Will be able to comment properly once I watch a few more episodes.
