Hello forums. A new concept came into my mind and without wasting any time I am just pouring out my new story here. It's a different concept for this forum and for me also. Tried my best what I wanted to convey through my writing . Happy reading :)
PROLOGUE
In Mumbai
For the past six months life became a burden for Manik. This was not the life he had ever imagined even in his nightmares. He is alive, just ALIVE, barren of all emotions , all the love and affection he was once filled up with .
One accident , just one accident and his life rotated upside down .
It was their first marriage anniversary . They were so happy , especially Alia , after all her husband who she dated for 1 year before marriage and the young couple tied the sacred knot last year and started their conjugal life blissfully.
Alia and Manik met in their high school and were good friends initially. Alia and Manik both bragged from the riches families of Mumbai. Same background, same lifestyle , Manik's personality and Alia's beauty all together and their young crazy infatuation made them a couple in their last year of graduation. After dating for a year, with both the families consent, they had grand wedding and was passing a blissful , young , carefree married life.
Everything was going perfectly. Perfect family, perfect hubby , perfect bank balance .
Their anniversary was going perfectly right from their 12 am surprise to going to their farmhouse for another honeymoon. But everything changed in that road to the farmhouse where all on a sudden ,a truck coming from the opposite side loosing its break, collided with Manik's car .
After that incident , the couple were immediately taken to the nearby hospital by the local people . After contacting with their parents , the couple was taken to the Mumbai Jaslok hospital.
It was Alia who was badly injured since the track came from her side on the other hand , Manik was driving the car, so he wasn't that injured.
After that day Manik gradually recovered but it was Alia who slipped into coma.
Now all Manik is left with , his daily routine of going to the office , then to the hospital where he remain sitting silently in the waiting room for god knows how long staring at the ceiling and then coming back home.
This one accident took away all his happiness, all the peace of mind. After that dark night , he almost stopped talking unless it's important whereas he's the same guy who used to be the popular guy in his high school for his all time fun loving talkative personality.
In Delhi
Nandini and Aryaman.
It was an arranged marriage but Nandini had no problem with it. She was the obedient child of her parents who can go any extent to make her parents smile . During her 3rd semester in Literary department of Delhi university, she got married to Aryaman, a middle classed , quite good looking guy with a decent family background.
Before marriage even though Nandini and Aryaman met a few times but they weren't that close. Even after marriage Aryaman and Nandini decided to take their relationship slowly. In matter of their relationship, Aryaman was always considerate. He was sweet , he was caring but still there was always an emptiness inside Nandini. Though she could never realise what that was , not that she had someone else in her life. She was always focused on her studies that she had no time for thinking about love, unless she got married and feeling something was missing.
Already they were married for 2 months.
Days were the same after her marriage. Aryaman always encouraged her to complete her study , so she continued studying even after her marriage. Life was all about waking up , preparing breakfast and lunch for Aryaman, going to University, coming back at home, preparing dinner and waiting for Aryaman. At night they used to have dinner together , a little chit chat about the whole day and going back to sleep. Of course in different beds since Nandini was still feeling uncomfortable and Aryaman was comfortable in giving her space and she was grateful to him for this.
That day was no different then other days but the day didn't end the same way.
She was busy making dinner when her phone started ringing . She hurriedly picked up the phone since the caller was Aryaman. But what she heard after receiving the call made her knees go weak , her body stated shaking .
It was a call from Delhi hospital telling Aryaman had a accident with his bike and he was badly injured . She needs to come soon.
On the way to the hospital she called her in laws and told her about the incident. They all hurriedly went to the hospital . Nandini by now was sobbing continuously seeing Aryaman in such a critical state. How could she not ? If not lover , Aryaman surely had become a good friend to Nandini.
After long 2 hours of operation , the doctor informed her and the family that his condition deteriorated further due to huge amount of blood loss and he needs to be shifted to Mumbai Jaslok Hospital where the famous Surgeon Dr . Sri vastav is in charge .
Immediately the family decided to send Nandini along with Aryaman to Mumbai in Air ambulance.
Two people, same situation , same pain. What will happen when they will meet each other in this phase of their life ? Will they remain just strangers or there will be more to come in their path ? Will life give them a second chance to be happy ? If so, will they accept the chance ?
