Part 10!
Hey everyone!
I think someone still has some confusion regarding the plot. Guys don't be confused. Actually na what I did is first I told you all that Manik is narrating flashbacks to Harshad but later I started to show present and flashback without even informing that what I did to change the plot.. Lolzz. Please pardon me for my silliness. Actually na what I did is I tried to show that not only Manik is narrating flashback to Harshad, but others too think of flashback like in their POV..nahi samjhe! Arre yaar, Manik to sirf utna hi janta hai na jitna usne dekha hai..baaki ka purana to sab batayege na..offo aap sab toh inna bhi nahi jante! :P
Ohkay! I am trying to show that Manik is narrating what he knows and others too think what happened in past. So don't feel that I ended Manik's narration, it is going on at one part and others POV is going in others part with present scenario. Now I hope you will understand and still there is any confusion left than please ask me in comment or through personal message, I will try my level best to make you understand!

Flashback!
Location : Shakuntla Orphanage, Manali!
While Nandini was singing lullaby for Karthik. MukBhi came running and stops after hearing Nandini's melodious voice. Manik too got mesmerized yet again after hearing her voice. For once he too forgot about MukBhi and closed his eyes to feel the surroundings and starts to smile. MukBhi too felt like home and feels blessed. Sumitra saw three of them enjoying Nandini's voice and smiles and gets emotional seeing Abhi after so long time. She with baby steps reaches up to him and stood in front of him and cups his face and pecks his forehead with all motherly love. Abhi gets emotional and starts crying, Mukti too cries. Sumitra hugs him and starts crying, he too hugs back. Mukti keeps hand on Abhi's shoulder and cries and looks at Nandini who was back-facing them and was busy in singing lullaby for Karthik and then look at Manik who was in his whole world closing his eyes. Mukti sighs and looks back at Abhi and Dadi. After a while, Abhi broke the hug and cups Dadi's face and wipes her tears, Dadi too does the same and again kisses his forehead and speaks, "Mera bacha! Mera shona bacha.. Abhi! Mera bacha wapas aa gaya mere pass..mera Abhi!"
Abhi too speaks, "Yes dadi! I came back!"and wipes her tears and speaks, "Hey Pushpa..stop crying re! Tussi jante ho I hate tears re, meri Pushpa! ;)"
Dadi playfully hits him and speaks after hugging him again, "Badmaash! Bilkul nahi badla..mera bacha! Bilkul apni behen pe gaya hai..wo bhi yahi bolti hai!"
Abhi giggles and hugs her back and speaks, "Bolegi to sahi aakhir behen kiski hai! Hmm?"
Dadi doesn't speak anything and breaks the hug and wipes her tears and his too and blesses him with all love and looks at Mukti and smiles and then looks back at him.
Mukti sighs and smiles back to Sumitra and looks that Manik was about to open his eyes so she speaks, "Abhi! Manik?"
Abhi looks at Manik and then at Dadi and Mukti and turns his back from him and signals Dadi to move from there. Dadi gets confused but does what Abhi told her to do and goes back to her place. Manik opens his eyes and looks at MukBhi who started to behave like if nothing happened, he sighs and looks at Sumitra who was continuously staring at him but when he looked at her she starts looking at other side. Manik gets confused and looks back at MukBhi but again they look at other side and then he again looks at Sumitra but again she looks at other side, Manik gets hell confused and looks at himself and adjusts his coat and then looks at Sumitra from corner of his eyes but she was super fast, so she looks at Nandini and this time walks to her to finish this look game. MukBhi too walks towards Manik and stood near him. Manik again looks at himself and then at MukBhi and thinks of something and again looks at Abhi. Abhi looks at him and asks him through eyes 'What?'. Manik nods his head in no and then looks at Mukti. Abhi smiles and looks at Dadi and shows her thumbs up, Dadi too smiles back. Mukti too does the same, Manik gets confused and again looks at himself and closes his eyes in frustration. MukBhi and Dadi giggles on Manik's reaction. Poor Manik didn't understood anything and stood there silently and waited for Nandini to finish her song. MukBhi too after sometime stops giggling and waited for Nandini.
Here Nandini didn't knew that MukBhi and Manik already reached and were adoring her and Karthik's bond. She finished her lullaby and saw that Karthik slept in her arms, so she kisses his forehead and asks Juhi (another kid in orphanage, aged 18 years) to make him sleep in his room. Juhi obliges and took Karthik from her arms and took him inside. Nandini smiles and turns only to get surprised seeing everyone looking at her with different reaction. MukBhi and Dadi with amused faces because of Manik's reaction and Manik with some different which she found odd and feels something different, but stupid girl avoids it and smiles at Dadi. Poor Manik still looked at her with foolish smile on his face. Then she looks at MukBhi where Abhi signals her that he is dead and then signals towards Manik. Nandini frowns and looks at Manik and asks Abhi in action 'What?'. Manik notices this and looks at Abhi immediately, Abhi starts looking at different direction and Nandini frowns but when Manik looks at her, she too starts looking at other direction. Manik frowns in confusion and thinks, 'What's wrong with everyone over here? Why everyone behaving so weirdly especially Abhi and Mukti around Nandini and that old lady. Who is she? What are they to them? Godd! So confusion and no answer to them. I will get mad in all this.. God! Please help me!!'
After praying to god Manik again looks at Nandini who was approaching to them giggling on something. He observed that same old lady is telling her something in her ears and Nandini is looking at him giggling and then looking at old lady and sighs. They reached till them and Nandini welcomes them all, "Hello guys! Welcome and thank you for accepting my invitation!"
MukBhi and Manik smiles and Manik speaks, "Pleasure is all mine!"
MukBhi gave a look at him and Nandini and Dadi chuckles. Nandini continues, "Thank you once again Mr. Malhotra! Meet her she is my Dadi..Mrs. Sumitra Dhawan, caretaker or say warden of this orphanage!" MukBhi and Manik smiles at her and touches her feet out of respect. Dadi blesses them and asks them to call her Dadi too. Nandini continues, "And dadi..yahi wo log hai jinke baare mein maine aapko subah bataya tha! Ye mere new neighbours hai, kal hi aaye hai humare sheher! He is Mr. Abhimanyu Thakkar, she is Ms. Mukti Vardhan, his fiancee.. and he is Mr.Manik Malhotra..!!"
Dadi looks at them and passes a warm smile and then looks at Manik and thinks of something and then looks at Nandini, who was busy adoring Nanik's smile and Manik too doing the same, actually they shared a cute eye lock. Dadi smiles looking at this and speaks slightly in high pitch which broke their trance, "Oh acha puttar..to yeh log hai wo! Bada changa kia tune puttar jo inko yaha invite kia! Aa jao bache log..aao main tum sabnu baaki sabse milwati hu.. Aa jao!"
Manik and MukBhi smiles and follows Dadi. Nandini stood there only and thinks, 'Aww he is looking so handsome!' but her trance gets broken when Sumitra calls her out, "Tu udhar akele kya kar rahi hai? Itthe aa puttar!"
Nandini looks here and there and thinks, 'Shit Pari! What's wrong with you? Stupid girl! Stop thinking nonsense! Huh!' and moves from there and joins others.
Here Manik was stealing glance of Nandini but every time Dadi notices this and smiles and distracts him either by calling him or by coughing. Manik gets embarrassed every time Dadi catches him and passes foolish smile to Dadi, she too smiles back.
Within half an hour they all gels up with each other really well. They give gifts to Nandini one by one. First one to gift her was Abhi, he gives her puppy and wishes her.. Nandini went all Aww seeing cute puppy in a basket and thanks him for giving her a pet as her birthday gift and on spot gives name to puppy i.e. 'SMURFY'. Abhi gets happy seeing that his little sister loved his gift and winks at Mukti who smiles at him.
(A/N : Let me tell you all.. Abhi is one year older than Nandini. Abhi is of 24 and Nandini of 23! :P)
Then Mukti gives her earrings, Nandini thanks her for gift, Mukti requests her to wear them now to which she happily agrees and changes her earrings and wear Mukti's gifted earrings and asks 'How does she looks?' Mukti hugs her in response and kisses her temple and answers her stating that she is looking pretty. Nandini smiles on this and again thanks her.
Now it was Manik's turn to gift Nandini, so he moves towards her and removes beautiful orange color scarf from inner pocket of his jacket and forwards to her and speaks, "I didn't got time to wrap this.. This is for you!"
Nandini smiles on his statement and takes scarf from his hand but while taking scarf there fingers gets brushed from each others and they share an eye lock with each other. Manik gets lost in her eyes and Nandini too gets lost in his deep brown eyes. Dadi notices this and smiles and blesses them silently, but unwillingly broke their trance because it was time to cut the cake, so she coughs which broke their eye lock and they started to look here and there and nandini take off her hands and thanks him and moves aside. Manik too bites his lower lips and moves back to his place and sits beside Abhi. Dadi smirks and makes mental note to inform Cabir about the same.
Now it was time for cake cutting, so Dadi moves from there and brings her cake along with crying Karthik in her arms. She tried to console him but he was constantly crying and asking for Nandini, so Nandini takes him from Dadi and asks him, "Aww..kya hui mere boyfriend ko?"
Manik chokes with drink which he was taking after hearing Nandini's words and looks at them shocked. MukBhi stares at Manik with amused faces and observes how he was trying hard not to react on Nandini and Karthik's talk.
Karthik starts crying and hugs Nandini and hides his face in her hairs and speaks, "Girl-girlflend! I got-got scaled(scared)!"
Nandini rubs his back and speaks, "Aww..mera bofriend dar gaya! Par mera boyfriend to itna strong hai..wo kaise dar gaya?Kya hui mere boyfriend ko..koi darawana sapna dekha? Hmm?"
Karthik brokes the hug and then cups her face with his tiny hands and nods in yes cutely and speaks, "Yesh! Boyflend (Boyfriend) saw bad dleam (dream)! Velly bad dleam (Very bad dream)!"
Nandini, Dadi and MukBhi went all Aww on Karthik and Manik.. he was like whatever..hehehe!
Nandini pecks his nose and speaks, "Koi baat nahi mere cute boyfriend, now I am here with you! Okay?"
Karthik rubs his nose with her and speaks cutely, "Otay! (Okay!)"
Manik looks at Karthik in anger and crushes plastic glass which he was holding. Nandini brings him to all and introduce to him all, "Guys! Meet him..he his Karthik!"
Kartik completes her, "Girlflends's filst love! (Girlfriend's first love!)" and starts sucking his thumb keeping his head on Nandini's shoulder.
MukBhi went all Aww on him and Mukti moves from her place and pulls his cheeks and speaks, "Aww so sweet! Cutiepie!" and kisses his cheeks. Karthik gets angry and wipes the place where Mukti kissed him and makes cute angry pout and speaks, "Chii ganda ganda!"
Mukti gets surprised by his reaction and looks at Nandini. She blinks her eyes and speaks, "Kartik hates kisses! :P"
Mukti sighs and looks at Karthik, who was still staring at her with angry pout. She holds her both ears and mouths sorry to him, but Karthik turns his face and hides his face in Nandini's hair. Nandini smiles and Mukti too smiles seeing his cute antics. Here Manik looks at them with angry wala face and thinks, 'What the hell? Ye chota packet samjhata kya hai apne aapko..meri Nandini ko apni girlfriend bula raha hai!! Does he even know the meaning of love! Huh!' but later on realizes what he was thinking and again thinks, 'Meri Nandini? Did I said Meri Nandini right now? Wuhooo Manik stop over thinking..okay! Take deep breath..breath in breath out! Pheww!' but again looks at Karthik and gets angry again and makes angry pout and looks at other direction.
Abhi notices every moment of Manik and smiles and thinks, 'Ye Manik ko kya ho gaya? Why is he behaving like this looking at Karthik and Pari..wait..what the? Oh god! Manik and Parii? No..it cannot happen! f**k never! Oh Pari ke Aiyappa..ye kaise ho gaya!' then he again looks at Manik who started to adore Nandini and then Nandini who was busy with Karthik and Mukti and then again at Manik who now again got angry when Karthik kissed Nandini on her cheeks. Abhi thinks, 'Manik to gaya! Manik to gaya..aisi ladki ke peeche gaya jo pyaar pe vishwaas nahi karti..jiska sirf ek maksad hai aur wo hai TK ki barbaadi! Manik ye tu ki karditta mere dost.. ye tu kar ditta?' and gets tensed and makes mental note to talk to Manik about this later on and goes to Sumitra who was busy arranging Nandini's birthday cake on table.

While Abhi went to Dadi to help her, Manik was busy admiring Nandini and thinks, 'What a beauty? God..this girl will make me insane! She is so beautiful..I just can't keep my eyes off from her! Hayye!'
Here all orphanage kids comes towards Nandini and calls her, "Naina Di?"
Nandini turns towards them and asks them what happened still having Karthik in her arms. Mukti and Manik gets confused after hearing that kids are calling her from different name. Manik in confusion, "Naina Di?"
Mukti too, "Naina Di? Par iska naam to Nandini?"
Juhi speaks, "Naina Di, we all brought this for you as your birthday gift. Wear this and cut your cake please!"
Nandini smiles and looks at Karthik who was having big grin on his face, she gets confused and asks Kunal (Another kid from orphanage, aged 19 years old).
Nandini, "What is it Kunal?"
Kunal smiles and forwards beautiful orange flower crown in front of her. Nandini gets little emotional seeing that how these innocent andpure soul requesting her and giving her so sweet gift. Nandini speaks, "Oh bache! Thank you for this and why I will deny for this cute gift. I will surely wear this. C'mon give me I will wear this right away. Give!"

Kunal moves his hand back, Nandini frowns but Kunal speaks, "No Di..you cannot wear this with your hand!"
Nandini frowns and speaks, "What? What do you want to say Kunal?"
Juhi speaks, "Kunal wants to say Di that you will not wear this by your hands..balki we all will make you wear this!'
Nandini feels blessed getting so much love from kids who are now family for her and again promises to herself that she will protect them no matter from any trouble. Karthik calls her which broke her trance, "Girlflend? Put me down!"
Nandini places Karthik on his feet and then kneels down in front of them and lower down her head. All kids makes her wear that crown and then surrounds her, hugs her and shouts, "Happy birthday Naina Di..May god bless you with all happiness!"
Abhi gets confused when he hears kids calling Nandini by different name and looks at Dadi for explanation. Dadi blinks her eyes in response and asks him to wait she will tell him later on. Here Manik and Mukti gets more confused and surprised and looks at Abhi but he too blinks at them.
Nandini gets emotional and speaks with a lump in her throat, "Thank-Thank you kids! I wis-wish that you too all get-get all happi-happines and lo-love which you all des-deserve! I wish!" and hugs Karthik tightly. Juhi kneels down and wipes Nandini's tears and speaks, "Di, kya aap ek din ke liye wo sab nahi bhul sakti? Kya aap ek din ke liye yeh nahi bhul sakti ki ab aap Nandini Murthy nahi balki SWARA MISHRA ki grandaughter aur iss orphanage ki trustee NAINA MISHRA hai? Kya aap aaj ke din TK ko nahi bhul sakti? Please di..bhul jayie na sab..please!" Nandini looks at her with teary eyes and then looks at Dadi, who nods at her and pleads her through her eyes to do what Juhi is asking her to do, but Nandini tightens her hold around Karthik and shuts her eyes tightly remembering her horrible past. Abhi gets tensed and observes Manik and Mukti's shocked reactions after knowing not to so good truth. Abhi moves towards Nandini and kneels down beside her and keeps hand on her shoulder. Nandini opens her eyes and looks at her side and found him looking at her with pleading eyes. Nandini looks at Juhi and others and sighs and leaves Karthik and runs inside orphanage and locks orphanage gate and slides down near gate and cries hugging her knees and broke the vase which was placed on near table and again hugs her knees and cries her heart out. Abhi tried to go behind her but Dadi stops him by holding his hand from back and speaks, "Jane de..usse puttar! Jane de usee..wo kisi ki nahi sunegi abhi! Jane do usse!"
Abhi who can't see his sister crying on her birthday takes off his hands and speaks, "No dadi..not this time. Maine Pari ko pehle bhi akela chod dia tha but not this time. I will not leave her alone..now no more secrets..no more running away..not this time! Dadi try to understand..Pari meri choti behen hai, wo meri responsibilty hai! Please Dadi!"
Dadi tries to say something but Abhi shows her hand and speaks, "Please Dadi.. don't stop me.. please I beg you! Please don't stop me! Please!"
Dadi fails in front of him and accepts her defeat and goes silent. Mukti tried to speak something but he refuses to listen to her even and goes to his sister to console her and to bring her back.
Manik gets more shocked after hearing Abhi's words and sits on chair with thud. Mukti gets worried for Abhi and looks at Manik who was sitting over there with shocked expression, with this Mukti gets more worried and looks at that direction where Abhi went and runs behind him to stop him and to tell him about the damage he did by getting weak and emotional in front of Manik.
Here Dadi takes kids from there leaving Manik alone. Manik was sitting on chair and Abhi's words echoes in his ears.
"Pari meri choti behen hai..wo meri responsibilty hai Dadi!"
"Don't stop me this time Dadi! Please!"
"No more running away..no more secrets now!!"
Manik held his head and speaks in low voice, "Nandini and Abhi are brother sister! Manali Abhi ka hometown hai?"
Screen divides into three showing Nandini crying, Abhi and Mukti worried and Manik's shocked face.

Hey there!
Update is here. Tell me how was it, again an update purely flashback and no present. Haww Manik ko sach pata chal gaya..ab kya hoga baba re??
What do you guys think how will Manik react after this? How will Nandini react when she will get to know that Manik knows everything? What will Mukti say to Abhi? What will happen now?
