Part 7!

Present!

Mansi was packing her bags so that she can leave for Mumbai as soon as possible. When Nandini came to her room holding a box behind her. She calls her, "Di?"

Mansi turns around and saw Nandini behind her looking very pale and weak. Mansi runs upto her and asks her worriedly, "What happened Nandu? Are you OK dear?"

Nandini smiles faintly and speaks, "Yes Di, I am fine! I am here for.."

Mansi raises her left eyebrow and asks, "For?"

Nandini after taking deep breath, "For this!". She forwards the box and gave that to Mansi. Mansi took the box and asks her, "What is this?"

Nandini smilingly, "Di, take this and give this too ACP, he will understand what is this!"

Mansi not convinced by Nandini's words keeps that box with her other luggage. Nandini leaves Mansi's room after handling her the box. Mansi finishes her packing and sits on bed and dials a number. Phone gets connected.

Mansi after connecting calls speaks, "Hello, Hi!"

On other side of call, "Hey jaan! How are you?"

Mansi smilingly, "I am fine. How are you and Manasavi?"

Other side, "I am missing you a lot, our baby is missing her mommy and baby's father missing baby's mommy!"

Mansi chuckles, "So cheesy Mr. Varun Singhania!"

Introducing Ashish Kapoor as Varun Singhania!

Varun dramatically, "Oh really, Mrs. Mansi Varun Singhania! First of all you went away without meeting me, secondly you didn't call me once after reaching there, thirdly you didn't took my calls, and lastly you..."

Mansi cuts him in between laughingly, "Oh god hubby! You are such a drama king! I messaged you before leaving, but you were busy in your so called business meetings."

Varun makes bad face on this as she was right. He again speaks, "So what? You must have called me!"

Mansi making O face, "Seriously Varun! I called you zillionth time but again you and your meetings. You don't have time for you one and only wifey. Huh!"

Varun bites his lower lip as she was again right. He again speaks, "But.."

Mansi cuts him irritatingly, "Now please Varun, don't say I should have met you before leaving. So Mr. Varun, if I would have met you before leaving, you wouldn't leave me!"

Varun smiles knowing how her wifey knows him so good, but gain speaks, "Yeah..yeah whatever!"

Both stop for a while and laughs out loud, Varun says, "God mansi, we can't fight like normal couples! We are insane!"

Mansi too speaks, "You are right Varun! Who will say we are married for 8 years!"

Varun correcting, "No Mrs. Singhnaia not married..balki say like this, happily married with a cute daughter Manasavi Singhania! Right?"

Mansi dramatically, "Ji Varun ji! You are always right!"

Varun : I know! I am always right!

They talked for a while and hungs up the call. Mansi felt good after talking to Varun and saw its time for her train to leave. She quickly gets ready and leaves her room and goes to Nandini room to bid her bye and to instructs her nurses and maid to take care of her in her absence.

Here Nandini after giving box to Mansi comes back to her room and goes to her room balcony and looks at quarters which were exactly opposite to her house where once Manik, Abhi and Mukti used to leave. She starts crying looking at those quarters and thinks, 'I miss you! Come back soon..I am waiting for you! Abhi..Mukti.. I miss you both too. I wish I can go in past and bring you back to me. I just wish! Aiyappa, Why you did this? Why you called them to you? Why?'

Nandini starts crying hard, she collapses on floor holding railing remembering time spent with Abhi and Mukti. She spent best moments of her life with them. She cries more when she remembers how Abhi got happy when he saw her after three years on her birthday.

Flashback!

Nandini after talking to Chief thinks, 'So, Abhimanyu Thakkar! Get ready to meet your Pari and to wish her on her birthday. Oh Abhi! I can't wait to see your face, how you will react when you will see me! Offo Nandini, stop acting like kid, just concentrate on your plan! Yes plan, Plan to invite Abhi, Mukti and that Manik for my birthday party. Yes, Party!'

Nandini finishes her breakfast and gets ready in red color full anarkali, leaving her hairs open and carries high heels with them. She comes out of her house, locks it and moves towards Manik's quarters praying to her aiyappa, 'Aiyappa! Just be with me. Wish me luck!'

She took deep breath and moves towards quarters. She stops at main gate and thinks smiling, 'Here I come Abhi! Get ready!'

She enters the gate and stops at door and rings the bell.

Here Manik after taking shower comes in dining to do breakfast. After reaching to dining, he saw no one was present there, breakfast was not ready. So he calls out, "Abhi? Mukti? Where are all? Bhai, today you don't want to have breakfast or not? Guys?"

After hearing Manik's voice, Abhi and Mukti leaves Abhi's room and come running up to him. After reaching Abhi was about to say something, when they heared bell's ring. Mukti speaks, "Who can it be, so early morning!"

Manik speaks, "Wait here, Let me check. Mukti go inside and get ready, Abhi you too leave."

Both leaves for their room to get ready. Manik walks up to gate to open it when he heard that someone is very impatient to get the door open.

Here Nandini after bell waits for someone to come and open the door but no one comes, she gets impatient and again rang the bell impatiently but again when no one came, she gets sad and turns to leave.

Here on other side, Manik gets irritated when he hears bell being rang continuously. He thinks, 'Who can it be? Cant they wait for a second or not?'

Thinking this he reaches up to door and opens the door. After opening the door he saw someone leaving, so he calls out, "Excuse me?"

Nandini starts to leave but stops when she hears someone calling out for her. She stops and smiles widely but hides it and looks back from corner of her eyes without turning.

Manik saw that person stopping and looking back without turning, so he speaks, "Excuse me! Do you need anything?"

This time Nandini smiles widely and turns around happily and says, "Yes!"

Wooosh! Manik gets surprised seeing that girl in front of him to whom he was following the other day. He starts looking at her dreamily from top to bottom and notice every feature of her face, in short he starts checking out her.

Here Nandini again gets sad and makes cute pout on not finding Abhi. She thinks, 'Aiyappa! What is this? I thought Abhi will be here but here.. Wait is he checking me out? Is he Manik?'

Here Manik smiles like a fool and keep looking at Nandini who was busy arguing with her Aiyappa. He notices her face features, she had made a very cute pout. She was looking effing cute with that pout. But his look look game doesn't go for long, he got disturbed when Nandini waves her hands in front of his eyes to bring him back from his la la land. Nandini while waving hands in front of his eyes speaks, "Oh Hello! Are you there? Where you lost? Hello?"

Manik gets embarrassed feeling that he was actually checking out that girl who was no one to him but his heart felt something special for her already. He lowers his gaze for a minute, he closes his eyes tight and took deep breath and after getting normal he speaks after biting his lower lip,"Yeah.. What? Yeah, I am fine! I mean.. I am here only!" Nandini smiles looking Manik nervous, as she caught him red handed for checking her out but hides it immediately when he looks at her.

Manik stops speaking when he heard Abhi's voice from behind who was asking who is there? Manik sighs in relief but Nandini's heart starts beating nah not beating starts running at a speed of Rajdhani Express after hearing his brother's voice. She gets little emotional but controls her and waits impatiently for Abhi to come out.

Here Manik answers Abhi by saying, "I don't know!"

Abhi comes out of house folding his shirts sleeve speaking, "Oh God Manik! Then please ask.."

Abhi stops speaking when he saw the same face with same smile, same innocence filled eyes, his Pari, his little sister, his only left family, his everything in front of him standing, looking more beautiful than before, more grown up looking ethereally gorgeous. Abhi gets little emotional and was about to call her name but stops when he saw Nandini signalling him not to react through her eyes and signals him to look at Manik whos was looking at them. Abhi controls himself and after clearing his throat which got little choked asked Nandini, "Who are you?"

Manik too looks at her when Abhi asks her out. Nandini chokes when she was about to say something but she controls herself and speaks after taking deep breath, "Hi, I am Nandini Murthy, your neighbour." She said all this looking at Abhi with tears at corner of her eyes which she cleaned very cleverly before Manik can see them but Abhi notices them and too feels sad for them.

Manik gets happy when he heard her voice and gets more happy after hearing her name. He took her name as prayer, "Nandini, so beautiful name just like her!" But Manik got more happy when he heard that she is his neighbour.

Here Abhi asks her again, "Why are you here?"

Manik gets attentive listening to this. Nandini answers, "I am here.. I am here to invite you for my birthday party. Today is my 23rd birthday!"

Abhi loses it and turns back to cleans his tears which till now made way through his cheeks, Nandini too closes her eyes tight after saying this and Manik jumps in happiness and fails to notice the pain and sadness, everything going around him. He got so excited after he heard that today is her birthday and in excitement he holds her hand and wishes her, "Happy birthday! Happy birthday!"

Nandini opens her eyes in shock seeing Manik's behavior. She looks at him weirdly and speaks awkwardly after taking off her hands from his hold, "Thank you!"

Manik again gets embbarrased reacting like this and closes his eyes in frustration and murmurs, "Shit! Manik Malhotra, you have to be careful around her."

Nandini asks him, "Huh! Did you said something?"

Manik stammers, "Huh! No.. NA.. yeah, wo I was saying Ohkay! Your welcome!"

Nandini gets more confused so she asks, "What?"

Manik was about to speak something but stops when they all heard Mukti's voice from behind, "Where are you all? Abhi? Manik? Who is there? Guys?"

Abhi after listening to Mukti's voice he wipes of his tears and speaks, "We are here Mukti, in garden. Our new neighbour has come to invite us!"

Manik after listening to Mukti's voice thinks, 'Pheww! I got saved, thanks Mukti for coming on right time. Love you babes for this!'

Nandini feels happy and emotional after hearing Mukti's voice and speaks in little voice but with full love, "Mukti Bhabhi!"

Mukti comes out and looks at everyone but gets shocked to see Nandini in front of her. She took out her name in shock, "Nandini? Here?"

Abhi comes near her when he saw her shocked and speaks in low voice after holding her from her elbow, "Jaan..Please don't react. Manik is here, please!"

Mukti looks at him and gets sad seeing him in pain but gets happy seeing happiness in his eyes. She nods in understanding.

Nandini gets happy after seeing their bond and blesses them. Mukti speaks after reaching up to her, "Hello! I am Mukti Vardhan. And you?"

Mukti forwards her hand for handshake. Nandini after holding her hands speaks, "Hey! I am Nandini Murthy. I am your neighbour. I live there!"

Nandini speaks all this with smile on her face and points towards her house. Mukti gets surprised after hearing that Nandini is their neighbour and thinks, 'What? Nandini our neighbour? Does Abhi knows this?'

Seeing Mukti in deep thought Nandini tightens their hold and speaks in low tone which is audible to Mukti only, "Don't worry Bhabhi, Abhi knows I am your neighbour and I live here only!"

Mukti gets more surprised after realizing how Nandini know what she is thinking. She looks at her shocked, on which Nandini chuckles and winks at her and speaks again, "What? Why are you looking at me like this? You still don't know me Bhabhs!"

Mukti took off her hands from her hold and moves back besides Abhi. Abhi smiles knowing what Nandini would have said. All this while Manik was silent spectator and was looking at Nandini dreamily. But again to his bad luck, he again got disturbed when Abhi speaks again introducing himself, "Hello, I am sorry! I forgot to introduce myself, I am Abhimayu Thakkar, Your new neighbour. We shifted yesterday only. He is Manik Malhotra, my friend and.." He said pointing towards Manik who waves at Nandini like fool. Nandini looks at Manik and waves him back awkwardly. Abhi again speaks, "And she is Mukti Vardhan, My fiancee" He stressed on word fiancee so that he can make Nandini know that they got engaged.

Nandini smiles listening this and says, "Oh good! Congratulations to both of you! Stay together always, God bless you!"

Abhi and Mukti thanks her and feels lucky to have her with them. Mukti speaks, "Thank you Nandini! By the way, Happy birthday. May god bless you with all happiness and love you deserve!"

Nandini thanks her and feels lucky to have her family with her on her birthday. Nandini speaks, "Thank you! Oh look, I was here to invite you all for my birthday and what I am doing, I started to talk with you all. Silly me!"

All smiles looking Nandini's innocence. Nandini continues, "So, here is the invite. I always celebrate my birthday with orphanage kids. Please come, I will feel good. Orphanage is 10 minutes away from here. Name of orphanage is Shakuntla, that is my amms orphanage."

Manik confusingly, "Amms?"

Nandini smilingly, "My grandma! I used to call her amms."

Manik : Now where she is?

Nandini, Abhi and Mukti gets sad hearing this but Nandini speaks, "She is no more, she passed away three years ago!"

Manik felt bad and says, "I am sorry. I shouldn't have.."

Nandini cuts him in between, "Oh no please, don't be sorry. I don't feel bad..because I know she is not here but her blessings are always there for me and my brother!"

She said last lines looking at Abhi. Abhi too looks at her and smiles, she too smiles back. Manik again speaks, "But still I am sorry! We all will come. Thank you for your invite!"

Nandini smiles to Manik, he too smiles back. Nandini looks at watch and speaks, "Ok then.. I take your leave. I have to go to orphanage to look at party preparation. Bye. See you at party!"

With this Nandini was about to leave but Manik didn't want her to leave, so he stops her, Abhi and Mukti looks at him. Manik speaks, "Hey wait!"

Nandini stops and looks back, "What?"

Manik bites his lower lip and speaks, "How can you go like this?"

Nandini gets confused, "Why? Why I can't go like this?"

Mukti too asks him, "What happened Manik?"

Manik looks here and there for answer and speaks, "I mean..you came at our place for first time..how can you go without having tea or coffee. Come inside and join us for coffee or even better for breakfast. Right Abhi?"

Abhi too wanted her to stop, but she already had some other plans so she politely denied, "Oh! I am sorry, but I have to go. I have some important work to do. I already have my breakfast. Next time I will surely do, but right now I have to go. Please! Don't mind."

Everyone gets sad but Abhi took promise from her to come back soon and she agrees and bids bye to them and leave for orphanage.

Here Manik comes to his room after doing breakfast. He enters in his room, locks it up and after locking it up, starts doing dancing.

[A/N : Imagine that scene when Dhruv told Manik that he should move on and Manik did dance in his room. ;P]

Here Abhi too comes in his room with Mukti. Mukti locks the room from behind, Abhi hugs her tightly as soon as she locks the door and cries and says, "Muk-mukti, Pari-pari my pari..she was here. Tod-today is her..her 23rd birth-birthday! I am so-so happy to see her aft-after three years. I am so so happy!"

Mukti too cries and speaks, "I know Abhi! I am too very happy!"

Abhi breaks the hug, wipes his tears from back of his palm and speaks, "Jaan..Lets make my Pari's birthday memorable. Lets go to orphanage and give her surprise. Come, lets go!"

Abhi starts to move but Mukti stops him and says, "Abhi, we can't go there. I hope you remembered what I told you in morning!"

Abhi stops listening to this and sits back on bed with head hung down. Mukti feels bad for him, so to cheer him up he says, "But, we can buy her a gift! What say?"

Abhi gets excited just like kid and hugs her and says, "Jaan..you are the best! I love you!"

Mukti too says, "I know I am best.. Love you too!"

They leaves to buy gift for Nandini. Manik too joins them by giving excuse that he will roam around, but inside he too wants to buy some gift for her.

Here Nandini reaches orphanage and starts preparing for her birthday after meeting kids, giving them presents and taking blessings from Sumitra Aunty, Orphanage care taker.

Present!

Nandini keeps crying hard in same position. She runs back to her room and open a wardrobe and removes the stall from it and cries more holding it and says, "I miss you..please come back. Please!"

After that she starts giving pain to herself by hurting her left arm. Her left arm starts bleeding. At same time, Mansi enters into her room and saw Nandini in her worst condition. She shouts and run up to her shouting, "Nandini! What are you doing all this. Stop it Nandini!"

Nandini doesn't listen to Mansi and pushes her and continues to give herself pain shouting, "Leave me! This is all because of me. I am very bad, Let me die. I don't want to live!"

Mansi stood up and again tries to stop her but she again pushes her back. Mansi saw Nandini is not in her senses. So she calls out for nurse. Within few minutes, Nurse gives Nandini sedatives from which Nandini felt drowsiness and she gets unconscious. With the help of nurses and maid, Mansi makes Nandini sleep on bed and covers her with duvet. She asks others to leave. After everyone leaves, Mansi cries looking at Nandini's vulnerable state. She bandages her arms and kisses her bruises and cries hard and speaks, "Why? Why are you doing this? Rab ji, please do something. I can't see her like this. Nandini!"

Mansi cries harder but after sometime leaves for station after instructing all to take good care of her. She informs sumitra aunty too about the same.

Mansi leaves in car and after reaching half way to station, she receives message from unknown number, 'How is she?'

Mansi wipes her tears and replies, 'She is completely brokwn. Why are you doing this with her? Why?'

Unknown number, 'You very well know di! Did she again tried to hurt herself?'

Mansi, 'Yes, she did! But tumhe kya?'

Unknown number, 'Di, please at least you don't say like this! Please!'

Mansi in anger, 'Why? Why I should not. I will, do you hear me, I will..I will blame you for her condition!'

Unknown number, 'Fine blame me! I will kill myself if you think that I am at mistake!'

Mansi gets scared, 'No please! Have you lost it or what, here it is becoming difficult with each passing second to control Nandini and now you too. I am scared, if Nandini will keep hurting her left arm like this, then one day no one will be able to do anything except to amputate her left arm!'

Unknown number, 'I know that di. Even I am scared that's why I am sending Cabir & Navya over there to keep check on her untillManik doesn't arrive there!'

Mansi, 'Hmm..how are you?'

Unknown number, 'I am good. Recovering very fast, will come back soon!'

Mansi, 'Good. Ok take care of yourself. I reached station, I will message you after reaching Mumbai. Bye, take care!'

Unknown number, 'You too. Bye!'

Mansi removes her luggage from taxi and begins her journey for Mumbai after praying to her Rabji to keep everything under control till Manik returns.

Here Manik is getting restless with each passing second and Harshad tensed. Harshad thinks seeing Manik so restless, 'Holy Jesus! Save me from this restless monster. Please god! He is getting so restless with each passing second. How will he react when he will get to know who I am, what is my realtion with Nandini and most importantly how he will react when he will get to know about Nandini condition! God, help me please!'

Screen freezes on Harshad & Mansi tensed face, Manik's smiling face and Nandini's unconscious face.
