I feel like a proud mama bear right now for some reason whatsoever.
At the time, both were deeply infatuated and attached to one another, but they couldn't have known it was love until they grew up and became mature, like they are now.
Manik still believes he loves her, maybe he does, or maybe it's an obsession, a feeling of possessiveness and loss that pushes him towards her.
Even though I shouldn't be saying this, but I believe her losing her memory was the best thing that has ever happened to her, she became clearer on her thoughts and saw things from the outside and the inside, making her very fit to judge their situation like this.
Fame and popularity, acceptance from the others is what is most important to us as teenagers, and I think this chapter conveyed their feelings amazingly.
