Chapter 2
"Nandu pov"
I woke up 2 inches away from Cameron's face. "TOO MUCH UGLY IN THE MORNING!" I yelled, pushing his face away from mine.
He was startled and the look on his face was priceless. I laughed and got out of bed, brushed my teeth and headed downstairs to make breakfast.
*Manik's POV*
I woke up to Nandu almost pushing me off the bed. She's pretty strong for a 5'3" girl.
I lay in bed, checking my Instagram on my phone. I had a bunch of notifications, I saw the photo people were liking, and commenting on.
I saw it was Nandu and I, I must've held her in my sleep.
I read the caption "Manik is in love with his girlfriend - cabir"
What the f**k Cabir.I run downstairs and grab Nandu's arm and pulled her around.
"Have you checked your instagram lately?!" I was literally panicking. Nandu's jaw dropped when she saw the photo, she ran upstairs to where Cabir slept and punched him in the face.
*Nandu's POV*
"WHAT THE F**K CABIR?" I yelld "Huh, what?" he wiped his eyes.
I took his sheets off and pushed him offthe bed.
"YOU KNOW WHAT YOU F***ING DID," I was furious, but Manik stopped me.
"I deleted the photo," Manik told me before he turned to me
"Why'd you take that pic cabir?" "Ooohhh that pic," he smirked.
"Screw you" Mnk yelled...
We made a vine trying to clear everything up. It helped, but just a little bit. They found my Instagram and started hating on my photos.The few edit accounts I followed on vine hated on me, I ended up calling them with them and explaining the whole situation. They helped us in solving the situation, but it was hard to end the situation.
I was humiliated and hurt enough to cry,I didn't though, I just went into my room, and sat there for a bit when Manik knocked on the door. "Can I come in?" he asked.
He barged in before I answered. He closed the door behind him and sat near me.
"Its gonna be okay,you dont worry, I'll deal with Cabir later"
Dhruv walked in the room seeing me hugging onto Manik like a Koala.
"OOOh Manik"...
"Don't" mnk said in defense.
I had enough. I was angered, so much you could see it in my face. Eventually we all sat down and ate.
"You okay?" Maddy asked.
"Yeah," I could've cared less. I wasnt upset over all the hate, upset over the fact that cabir did this to me. Wait...? Where is cabir? I hear the door open. Its cabir with a big bear and some flowers.
"Hey, listen," Cabir said, "I'm sorry, I know all of this doesnt cut it but.."I am a firm believer of second chances.
"Its fine" I say" I'll shake it off, give me like an hour"
We all sat down together,and ate. It wasnt as quiet as I thought it was going to be. We all laughed and had fun, and suddenly I lost all my anger towards cabir. We made plans to go bowling. I decided I would go, because we needed two extra people, I ended up inviting my friend, aliya who had the crush on my roomate, luckily she didnt see the picture.I called her up"Hey aalu, wanna go bowling with me?" I say "Sure!" She answrd...
I went upstairs to take a shower, I put my hair in a high ponytail, wore high waisted shorts and a crop top, put on my high top black converse.I stopped halfway down the stairs to hear the boys talk.
"Nothing happened last night, I guess I just put my arm around her," Manik says.
"Riiight," Dhruv says,
"She's beautiful, you couldnt
resist!".
Dhruv ? Calling me beautiful? I had a crush on him,for the longest time, not anymore though, at least, I dont know really.
"Hey Guys!" I say, interrupting their talk,
"Ready to go?"--At the bowling, I ended up not playing, because there was an extra person, watching them was fun though.
Aliya got help from Manik, she had fell in love with that boy, and when we went to order pizza, she let out little fangirl screams...
she was okay though, she knew to keep her cool, and she wasnt a big fangirl. We went home, the boys left, I dropped aliya home, so it was just me and manik...I walked in the door, dropped my keys on the table, I went and laid on the floor of the loft, facing the ceiling, going through my phone.
The whole "Me dating mnk" thing went away.
Manik was upstairs making a youtube video, so it was basically me home alone. I went upstairs to my room, when I hear the door open. It was Manik,, in his shorts, drying his hair in his towel.
"Hey I'm sorry," manik told me,
"the boys were being idiots, I didnt hold you like that on purpose.."
"I know," I replied, I bit my lip, I could'nt meet his eyes, and I'm pretty sure he was too scared to meet mine..
"I woke up in the middle of the night because something touched my back, it was your abs, your grip was too strong for me to let loose, I just ended up sleeping again."
"You did?!" Manik looked up, breaking the staring contest he was having with the floor, he blushed and smiled, "My abs are that hard?"
"Don't get too self centered there," I laughed harder than needed.
He laughed harder than I did, we kept laughing, to thepoint where all my mascara started to run.
We took a breath.
"Your mascara," he said, "Its all over your eye."I tried taking it off.
"Is it off?" I asked.
"Umm no," he replied,
"Here, I'll do it." He walked towards me, I closed my eyes...
He took his thumb and lightly ran it along my lower eyelashes.
He took a few steps back and said: "You're really pretty without any makeup," he smiled, looked at his arm and told me, "Its late, I'm hitting the sack!" He left,
He amused me because:
1) He never says "I'm hitting the sack" ever.
2) He had no watch on his arm.. :p
