I just have no words to say. Enjoyed it to the core, was smiling like a fool throughout that my jaws are aching now. Hahaha. The moment Nandini discovers who the lead singer is... was like intense. Gave the same kind of chills when Nandini saw Manik performing for the first time (in the show).

The way they pull each others legs is a treat by itself. Something which I really love. Cabir is the man as usual! Love him! ⭐️Great update and do continue soon!

Hey everybody.. Im so very sorry for being so late with the update.. 😔 I've had some very stressful days ... And I thank you for being patient with me.. I hope you like this update.. Any feedback is welcome 😊

CHAPTER 5: A BANG- ON MEETING

Manik's POV:

Her long black hair, billowing in air. Her eyes, sparkling with adoration, amazement and a hint of tease. Her pink lips, parted in dazling smile. Her cute round cheeks covered with a touch of red. There is something about her eyes that I cannot take my eyes off of her. I don't want to take my eyes off of her. It's like, I am hypnotized by her.

She doesn't bother about her surroundings, her eyes on me all the time. I was playing my guitar and singing. The song I selected was a last minute decision and I'm sure the band is going to screw me about it. But I don't care. I wanted to sing it for her. I don't want know what is happening to me. Am I obsessed?? I don't know what I'm feeling . It's something I've never experienced.

One look at her and I know she's silently cheering for me. I start to sing the corus but music comes out.. I then realize that its not my voice but my ringtone..

I wake up, all groggy , to hear my phone ring. I grope around without opening my eyes to find the nuisance . Only to find it buried under a heap of my clothes on the floor . I answer the call, not bothering to see who it is that woke me up from my enticing dream..

"Hello.." I croaked ..

"Abey saale! Kamine ! Thu kabhi nahi sudrega .. Aur kitna soyega thu ? college aane ka plan hai kya ?" my irritating and annoying best friend Cabir barked into my ear.

"Aa raha hoon Cabir .. Bus 2 minute aur.. " I managed to say, eyes still closed .

"Thu aa raha hai ya me wahan aake thujhe dakke maar ke le aaun!" Cabir warned.

"Hmmm .. I'm coming" and I cut the call.. I had to go or else I'm pretty sure Cabir would come here . I grudgingly lifted myself from my bed and headed to the washroom. I took a warm shower and dressed in blue jeans , a white t-shirt and a dark jacket. I Gelled my hair giving it a messy look. I grabbed my keys and shades and headed out the door.

No one's POV:

The Fab 5 are jamming in their music room. All fully into their playing making amazing music. Finally they take a break. Manik is lightly strumming his guitar , dreaming about none other than Nandini , a small smile on his lips. Cabir takes note of this.

"Ab yeh janab ko kya hogaya hai? kiske kayalon me khogaya hai?" he wondered . "Shayad Nandini ke bare me tho nahi", Cabir had an evil thought and a sly smile popped on his face.

"Acha Manik , kal ka performance achha tha na" Cabir said nonchalantly .

"Hmm", was all Manik said. Cabir rolled his eyes . He thought to try a different track.

"Arre haan , woh princess kitni sweet thi na. Kitni taarif kar rahithi mere bare me", he said , hopping to get some kind of reaction from Manik .

"Hmm hmm" , Manik replied , still playing his guitar .

Cabir wanted to strangle him. "Beta Cabir , yeh aisa kuch bolne nahi wala . Kya karu kya karu..".. Idea!

"Manik, woh princess ke bare me kya sochthe ho? I mean us din tho tum log bohot baathein kar rahethe .. Acha uska naam kya tha? Haan.. Nandini.. Beautiful name na.."Cabir said grinning. This brought Manik out of his dream.

"Haan..Kya bol raha hai tu.. Pagal ho gaya kya.. Me uske bare me kyun sochu?" , Manik spluttered, nervously .

"Bas aise hi pooh raha hoon yaar . Relax. Mujhe usse kya lena agar tumhare or Nandini ke beech me kuch chal raha ho tho.." , Cabir said smirking.

"What rubbish Cabir?! kya kya sochthe rahethe ho tum. Mere Aur Nandini ke beech kya hosaktha hai. I mean I don't even know her. How can something happen?", Manik said, wanting to know her badly. Cabir seemed to get the idea that Manik liked Nandini.

"Thu sahi ke raha hai . Kuch nahi hosaktha hai. Aur wasebi , kaise hosaktha agar uska already ek boyfriend ho", Cabir said. Manik's eyes widened hearing this piece of news regarding Nandini.

"What ?! Boyfriend ?! Kya bakwas kar rahe ho tum! Uska koi boyfriend nahi hai!", he said as if he is declaring it.

"Bakwas nahi sach . Us din tumne nahi dekha kya. Woh ladka wahan aagaya , bohot possessive lag raha tha Nandini ko lekar . Aur Nandini bhi usse kitne pyaar se baat kar rahi thi.. Agar woh ladka boyfriend nahi hai tho kya hai.. Aur tumhe kaise patha ki Uska koi boyfriend nahi hai. Abhi abhi tum ke rahethe ki tum use jaanthe nahi. Hmm .", Cabir looked straight at Manik.

"Woh , woh .. I mean I.. woh.. tumne hi tho kaha tha na.. ki Nandini kitni sweet hai.. Shakal dekhi hai uski . Lagthi hai kya ki Uska koi boyfriend ho.. She's too innocent yaar", Manik said flustered.

"Sweet tho hai . But you know na. Aaj kal ke ladkiyan kaise hothe hai", said Cabir, putting masala to an already lit fire .

"Shut up Cabir!! Hadh hoti hai! Aur kitna bakwas karoge !! " Manik blasted .

"Yeh achanak se tumhe kya hogaya ? Aise kar rahe ho jaise Nandini tumhari girlfriend hai", Cabir chuckled .

Manik stood up suddenly, " Enough is enough Cabir!". Saying this he stormed out of the music room, with everyone just staring after him.

"What the hell is he talking about ?! Ho kya gaya usse?! Mere Nandini ke bare me aise baat kar raha hai!", Manik said briskly walking down the corridor.

"Wait what?!", he abruptly stops, "Mere Nandini ? Woh kabse mere Nandini bangayi ?? Manik, relax ok. Cabir is just getting in your head.", he takes a deep breath and walks away, although liking the thought of Nandini being his.

Nandini's POV:

I was walking down the corridor with Navya , heading to the cafeteria as it was lunch hour. While walking , Navya dashes into someone . She apologized and walked on.

"Navya kaha khogayi ho tum? Zara dekha karo ki kaha jaa rahe ho .", I said concerned .

"Kuch nahi Nandini, aise hi. Woh hum na uske bare me sochthe rahe .", she said happily. But upon my questioning look she said, " Arre Woh, kya naam tha Uska ... Haan Cabir! Kitna smart hai na Woh!".

"Navya tum Cabir ke bare me kyun soch rahe ho ?", I asked , I was surprised .

Hearing this Navya blushed . "Woh kuch nahi bas aise hi", she replied . Something was cooking. Did she like him? , I wondered .

"Acha, aise hi Haan..", I said looking at her.

"Arre woh chodo. Tumne yeh nahi bathaya ki tum Cabir ko kaise jaanthe ho.Hmm..", Navya said with an inquisitive look in her eyes. Now it was my turn to be dumbfounded .

"Woh.. Haan woh Dhruv ka dost hai na", I said hesitantly .

"Dhruv ka dost ? par tum tho Dhruv se bhi baat nahi karthi na. Tho phir Cabir ?" she asked . Oh god! This girl na.. I felt like smacking my head.

" Woh .. Umm.. Woh bohot friendly hai na.. Isiliye .. Tumne hi tho kaha na ki woh kitna Acha hai", I managed to say.

"Woh tho hai . Aur Uska woh dost ka kya chakkar chal raha haan?" she looked at me, directly into my eyes, as if to see what I say is true or not. And that was all it took to make me start thinking about none other than Manik, a smile making its way into my face. Just thinking about him makes me giddy.

"Navya.. Aisa kuch nahi hai. Woh bas aise hi. Bas baat kar rahe the.. Woh.. Manik..", and I did the biggest mistake by saying his name. I almost bit my tongue.

"Ohh. Manik haan. ", she said with a mischievious glint in her eyes.

"Haan . Manik. Ca.. Cabir ka dost hai.", I said .

"Achha. Aur tum...", she started to say, "Navya!! Bas haan! Ab aur nahi!", I stopped her.

"Teek hai baba. Shanth hojao. ", she said holding up her hands. "Nandini, kya tum mera ek kaam karoge. Please.", she said, folding her hands in front.

"Teek hai. Batao kya karna padega", I said rolling my eyes.

"Woh na, hume Cabir se milna hai. Humare saat chalo na. Please", she said almost blushing.

"Par Navya, woh Music Block me padtha hai. Wahan kaise jaayenge!", my eyes widened.

"Chalo na Nandini. Ab aur time hai class keliye. Wo bhi free honge . " she said.

"Par Navya...", I started, but she interrupted me. "Par var kuch nahi. Hum jaa rahe h" she said pulling me. "Aur wasebi, mujhe Cabir se milne ka moka milega aur thuje Manik se", she winked her eye. And I couldn't help blushing at the thought of seeing him again.
