Manik's Hotel

Next Morning Manik woke up and freshened up. He called the reception to order for breakfast. Though he could just go and have breakfast in any of the five star hotels but he wanted to see Nandini first in the morning. After 10 minutes there was a knock on the door, thinking its Nandini, Manik excitedly said "yeah? Come in!!" after looking in the mirror last time.

Unfortunately she was not Nandini but someone else with his breakfast.

Girl: Sir your breakfast.

Manik (in cold tone): Keep it.

Girl: Sir do you need anything else Sir?

Manik( with a fake smile) : No. Thank you.

Girl: Sir, if you need any help please just call me.

Saying this she was moving out when Manik suudenly shouted "wait"

Girl turned with a huge smile on her face as Manik Malhotra had called her

Yes Sir.

Manik: Where is Nandini??? ... actually I wanted to give her some work.

Girl: Sir she has taken leave today so she must be in her room but you can tell me what work you wanted her to do, I will do it.

Manik: No Thanks.

And he closed the door.

"So Nandini Murthy has taken a leave!! Okay then let's go and explore Dubai" said Manik with a grin.

After having his breakfast he went to staff rooms. As soon as he entered the floor everyone started greeting him and he just smirked. Manik used to smile only when Nandini greeted him.

After asking someone about Nandini's room , he knocked the door of 303 to which came a reply in sweet voice " Riya tujhe kabse knock karne ki need padh gayi door khula hai aaja."

Manik just came in and was about to say that he was not Riya as Nandini was lying on her bed facing her back to him when she started saying" I know tu yahan kya bolne aayi hai bataoon?? That Manik is so hansome, he is so hot and stuff right?... To let me tell you vo hamesha se hi aisa from college days. He was one year senior to me. You know har ladki uske charm se dead hojati thi... jahan jaata tha vahan ka atmosphere ek dum lively ho jata tha"

Manik then asked " what about you??"

Nandini was so engrossed in her talks that she did not recognize that it was someone else and said with sadness depicting in her tone "How does it even matters!!"

But Manik's heart was shouting It does matters a lot!! Please bata do na!!

Seemed like she heard it and said "He was always a far off dream. I started liking him after only a month of college. I heard that he was a monster, he along with his friends used to bully everyone but he never bullied me. Infact every time his friends use to target me he was always there to rescue me unintentionally. Kuch time ke liye mujhe laga shayad vo bhi mujhe like karta hai but then reality hit me I was just a common girl while he was stud of the college. Isliye I lost hope but I still love him...( realizing what she said she changed the statement) I mean like him. Jab vo yahan aaya tha na I thought he remembered me but phir mujhe yaad aaya usko to pata bhi nahi hoga ki I ever existed and ab to main chahu bhi to use kuch nahi bata sakti because is ek saal mein jo hua hai usse main khud hi nahi ubhar paa rahi hoon" completed Nandini with a sigh.

Manik was on cloud 9 after knowing that she loved him too but he realized something was definitely wrong. He at the moment wanted to just go and hug her tight and explain how wrong she was but he wanted to take things slow so that this time he won't lose her.

Realising that Riya had not uttered a word Nandini asked " Btw kya hua kuch kaam tha kya??"

Saying this she was just about to turn when Manik rushed out of the room before she sees him. Nandini wondered to whom she was talking when she heard a knock again she said " Yes come in"

Seeing Manik entering in her room Nandini straightened up and said "Manik... I mean Sir aap yahan kuch kaam tha kya??"

Manik was happy after hearing his name in her sweet voice and said " It's okay, call me Manik."

Nandini said "Do you need any help, Manik??"

Manik said innocently " Haan help to chahiye thi... Vo actually mujhe Dubai ghoomna hai so will you come with me?"

Though Manik had come to Dubai a dozen of times but he wanted to spend some time with Nandini and so thought of this idea.

Nandini said with a slight smile " Wait I will call John he is a guide he will go with you"

Seeing his plan going wasted he suddenly said in a stern voice "You are coming with me take it either as an order from your boss or as a plead as an ex college mate" after saying so he winked at her and left shouting "Meet me in 15 minutes at the main gate"

Nandini was not able to believe what she heard. Her heart was very happy. "He remembers me!!"said Nandini to herself. " Oh god!! I have to meet him in 15!! Nandu get ready fast" saying this she started finding clothes in her closet.

Finally after a good 5 minutes she picked up a black dress. After getting a quick shower she got ready applied a little make up, wore her boots and went to main gate.

Manik was talking to himself "So Nandini Murthy let's begin with our Love Story because this time I am not gonna let you go"

He just turned and was bowled over by the way nandini was looking. As Nandini came towards him, He said "You look ethereal" Nandini blushed and said "Thanks!!,Chale??"

Manik nodded and opened the passenger seat for Nandini to get in and then got in from the driver's side and drove...

End
